Abstract

This study examines the role of influencer marketing in enhancing product sales in e-commerce, focusing on the increasing use of social media that influences consumer behavior. The objective is to explore the impact of influencer marketing strategies on purchasing decisions. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, analyzing relevant literature from various sources. The findings indicate that influencer marketing not only increases brand awareness but also builds consumer trust through authentic interactions. Carefully selected influencers can reach a broader audience and create a positive impact on product sales. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of choosing influencers that align with the target market characteristics. Recommendations for companies include considering market segmentation and the influencer's reputation in their marketing strategies to maximize sales potential and build long-term relationships with consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation on company value. GCG is a vital structure for enhancing investor confidence and creating a sustainable business environment. The methods used in this study are literature review and case analysis, with the Wilmar Group as an example of initiating GCG practices and their impact on company value. The analysis results show that proper implementation of GCG principles can enhance investor confidence, improve company reputation, and positively contribute to increasing company value. Conversely, violations of GCG principles can lead to reputational risks, financial losses, and a decline in company value.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu pelaku UMKM di Desa Perkebunan Bukit Lawang, Kecamatan Bahorok, Kabupaten Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dalam meningkatkan kehadiran digital melalui pendaftaran titik lokasi usaha di Google Maps. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Sebanyak lima UMKM berhasil didaftarkan dan diverifikasi oleh pihak Google. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi sederhana melalui Google Maps dapat memperluas jangkauan promosi, meningkatkan keterhubungan usaha dengan wisatawan, serta menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya teknologi dalam pengembangan ekonomi desa wisata. Kata Kunci: Digitalisasi, UMKM, Google Maps. Abstract This community service activity aims to assist MSME owners in Bukit Lawang Plantation Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province in enhancing their digital presence through business location registration on Google Maps. The program, conducted by students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Five MSMEs were successfully registered and verified by Google. The results indicate that simple digitalization through Google Maps can expand business visibility, improve connectivity with tourists, and raise awareness of technology’s role in supporting rural economic development.
