Abstract

This study analyzes the application of Jean Piaget's cognitive development theory through color play in early childhood development. This study uses a systematic literature review approach with secondary data obtained from journals searched through Google Scholar, Scopus, and PubMed. A total of 10 journals met the inclusion criteria after going through the selection, coding, and quality assessment processes. The results of the analysis show that color play functions as a visual stimulus that stimulates cognitive development, including logical thinking skills, classification, and problem solving in early childhood. The main findings of this study reveal that the application of Jean Piaget's theory through color play has a significant effect on children's cognitive and fine motor development. This study emphasizes the importance of learning media that are adjusted to the child's developmental stage to increase the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the process of the results of the implementation of experimental sculpture lectures in 2024 which have not been maximized. It can be seen from the learning process that is less enthusiastic and the sculptures produced are not yet varied in terms of materials and techniques, so that the works produced are less varied and less creative. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the independent approach in increasing the level of activeness and achievement of student learning outcomes in the Experimental Sculpture course in the Fine Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Art and Design Education, Indonesian Education University. The implementation of lectures by applying the independent approach can provide freedom for students to explore, innovate, and develop creativity through flexible and project-based learning methods. The research method used is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study prove that the application of the independent approach can increase student activeness in the learning process, and improve more creative and innovative sculpture art skills.

Abstract

This research of this thesis has been done at SMPIT Al Ishmah. The purpose of this thesis is to find the result of the Improving Students’ Writing Skill Trhough Dictation Technique. Based on the problem that the writer found, Many students’ seem weakness in writing English. The writer thought that by join Dictation technique, can make students more creative and active to study English, especially writing skill. The research method is an classroom action research method that gives description explanation and sentence dictation. It has developed in three cycles, and every cycle has four steps. They are planning, action, observation, and reflection. On the other hand, there uses the collaboration with some inform, like English teacher etc. Every cycle give us information that can be analyzed. The subject of the research in the students’ seven grade of SMPIT Al Ishmah that contains 33 students. The results are based on the explanation of every cycle are available. It can be said to increase students' writing skill is 93.34%. This means that trough Dictation Technique can improves students' writing skill. Based on explanation above, the researcher conclude that The dictation technique has influence toward students’ achievement in their writing. It can be one of methods to improve students' writing skill at SMPIT Al Ishmah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam pembelajaran Gamelan Degung di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami berbagai kesulitan, termasuk tantangan dalam memahami tempo dan sinkronisasi saat memainkan alat musik, serta kurangnya kepercayaan diri saat tampil. Selain itu, pengaruh budaya populer yang lebih dominan dan fasilitas pembelajaran yang tidak memadai turut mempengaruhi minat siswa dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Gamelan Degung. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan perlunya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran dan peningkatan fasilitas untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih mendukung dan menarik bagi siswa, sehingga mereka dapat lebih mudah memahami dan menikmati pembelajaran seni musik tradisional ini.
