Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of core competency strategies in human resources (HR) in improving company performance, with a case study at PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. The research focuses on three main aspects: identifying and analyzing the core competencies required in HR, strategies for managing core competencies in HR, and analyzing the relationship between core competencies in HR and company performance. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The research results indicate that the development of core HR competencies, such as leadership, technological mastery, and results orientation, plays a significant role in improving company performance and operational efficiency. Management strategies encompassing continuous training, performance evaluation systems, and strengthening a collaborative work culture are key to reinforcing core HR competencies. The findings also indicate a strong correlation between effective management of core HR competencies and overall improvements in company performance, which contributes to achieving long-term competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a Decision Support System (SPK) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method (AHP) in selecting employees of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Djoeragan Ayam Penyet East Jakarta. The AHP method is used to facilitate more objective and structured decision making in the employee selection process. This research involved interviews with MSME owners and related staff, direct observation in the employee selection process, as well as literature studies to gain an in-depth understanding of the concepts and applications of the AHP Method in the context of employee selection. The results show that the implementation of SPK using the AHP Method can improve objectivity, consistency, and efficiency in the employee selection process. Suggestions for the development and implementation of an effective SDM are also presented. This research contributes to the development of more scientific and measurable decision-making methods in human resource management, especially in the context of MSMEs.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) plays a central role in determining the competitiveness and success of companies in the industrial sector. HR planning is becoming increasingly complex with technological disruption, globalization, and changing market dynamics. This article discusses in depth the importance of HR planning in the industrial sector by reviewing various aspects such as industrial environment analysis, identification of workforce needs, employee development strategies, and challenges faced. In addition, emphasis is also given to the strategies that companies need to take to improve the effectiveness of their HR management, especially in facing challenges in the digital and automation era. The conclusion emphasizes that adaptive and data-driven HR planning can help industrial companies maintain their competitiveness in the global market.
