Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing stimuli factors that influence the purchasing decisions of Generation Z in Batam City regarding fast fashion items. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing factor analysis as the primary analytical method. Within the study, 19 variables were initially examined and subsequently reduced to several factors. The analysis revealed four key factors that drive purchasing decisions for fast fashion items among Generation Z in Batam City: Attractive Service, Marketing Excellence and Competitive Design, Value for Money, and Shopping Experience. The Attractive Service factor emerged as the most dominant, accounting for 24.192% of the variance in this study. This finding underscores the critical role of service quality in influencing consumer decisions in the competitive fast fashion industry. Brands should strengthen their digital presence through engaging social media content, and ensure up-to-date product designs to align with Generation Z’s preferences for developing competitive strategies. Additionally, improving the shopping experience through accessible store locations, strengthening brand reputation, and creating an inviting store atmosphere, can further attract and retain Generation Z consumers in Batam’s competitive market.

Abstract

This study explores the indirect association connecting good corporate governance dimensions and firm performance, mediated through capital structure. This study utilized a sample of 67 manufacturing companies registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2017. The data was also handled using the Eviews 10.0 version. The findings show that board of director size, board independence, managerial ownership, and ownership concentration showed no impact on the capital structure. Board size, board independence, and ownership concentration affected the financial performance directly. However, the board's independence, size, and ownership concentration failed to indirectly influence the financial performance. Further, the managerial ownership exhibited no meaningful influence on the financial performance, either directly or indirectly. The findings support that the dimensions of Good Corporate Governance impact firm performance, particularly when interacting with capital structure. The implications are valuable for policymakers and corporate leaders, as they highlight that good governance practices alone may not be sufficient; optimal capital structure strategies must also be incorporated. The findings provide new insights into corporate governance policy by demonstrating its role beyond traditional monitoring, suggesting that governance practices can influence performance when combined with effective capital management strategies. Therefore, the findings enrich the academic discourse by presenting a more thorough perspective on how the corporate governance dimensions relate to capital structure to enhance financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Human Error to Reduce Defects in Production with the Sherpa Method and the Heart Method at PT XYZ. Sherpa method to identify errors and Heart method to calculate the probability of errors. The results of data processing show a total of 9 tasks and descriptions of errors where errors are divided into 2 types of errors classified based on Sherpa error modes, namely errors in implementation (action errors) as many as 7 errors, errors in checking (Checking errors) as many as 2 errors. The results of the calculation of the HEP value in the production process of automation goods. The probability of error in production with the heart method where the highest HEP value is 0.16. The production process of automation goods at PT XYZ which often occurs in the mounting process with the highest HEP value of 0.1856.
