Abstract

AbstrakPompa adalah mesin yang berfungsi untuk memindahkan fluida dengan cara merubah energi mekanis menjadi energi fluida dan tekanan, mengangkut fluida melalui sistem perpipaan. Keandalan dan kekuatan poros pompa sentrifugal menjadi perhatian utama pada penelitian ini. Penelitian tentang pengaruh besaran force yang bekerja pada poros pompa sentrifugal terhadap kekuatan poros pompa sentrifugal dengan metoda numerik Finite Element Method (FEM) dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi komputer Solidworks simulation. Besaran force yang bekerja pada poros pompa sentrifugal dengan material baja AISI 1020 sebesar 50 N, 75 N, dan 100 N di usulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa poros pompa sentrifugal memiliki nilai tegangan von Mises, displacement, dan strain yang tinggi seiring ditingkatkannya force yang bekerja. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk referensi perancangan poros pompa sentrifugal dan dapat diterapkan untuk mempertimbangkan faktor kemanan pada poros pompa sentrifugal di lapangan.

Abstract

A clutch is a mechanical component used to connect two shaft together in power transmission system. The main function of a clutch in a transmission system is to transmit power from one shaft to another while adjusting the difference in speed or position between the two. This study aims to calculate the critical parameters of the clutch, such as torque, normal pressure, contact area, required force, and centrifugal force on the clutch shoes. This study produces a normal pressure force of Q = 65.99 kg With a force F that is smaller than the maximum allowable force of 24.67 kg and At a minimum rotation of n = 1500 rpm, the centrifugal force generated is F = 626.23 N with a vertical force in the y direction of F = 313.11 N. While at maximum rotation the centrifugal force increases sharp, namely F = 22184.1 N, with a vertical force in the y direction of F = 11092.05 N. The calculation results show that this clutch design is safe to use by meeting all the parameters that have been set. The impact of this research provides increased energy efficiency, system performance and component life, which supports operational cost savings and reduced emissions. In addition, this research encourages technological innovation, development of local industry, and positive contributions to the environment and society.

Abstract

 Abstrak. Listrik menjadi salah satu sumber energy yang menjadi kebutuhan untuk menunjang berbagai macam aktivitas manusia, salah satunya adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga surya. Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya adalah pembangkit listrik yang mengubah energi surya menjadi energi listrik. Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya tergolong dalam energy terbarukan, namun masih banyak orang yang belum bisa memanfaatkan secara maksimal karena keterbatasan ilmu dan pengetahuan. Sehingga perlu Edukasi Pemanfaatan dan Pemberdayaan Energi Surya untuk Mendukung Industri UMKM melalui program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Kegiatan dilakukan di wilayah Krajan RT 06, RW 03, Kelurahan Bergaslor, Kecamatan Bergas, Kabupaten Semarang. Hasil kegiatan tersebut adalah panel surya yang dibuat dengan memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga dengan kapasitas panel surya sebesar 120 Watt. Hasil tersebut mengkonfirmasi bahwa panel surya dengan bahan limbah mampu menunjang kegiatan UMKM masyarakat. Kata kunci: Industri, Limbah, Panel surya, UMKM.
