Abstract

Religious studies and religious insight at Gula Rajawali Vocational School are directed at providing constructive solutions in shaping student character, through targeted and relevant assistance. This service aims to create an educational environment that supports students' spiritual development, fosters religious values, and makes a positive contribution to the character formation and welfare of students at Gula Rajawali Vocational School. The method used in carrying out this service is participatory story action research (PAR). The results of this service research show that the mentoring program for religious studies and religious insight at Gula Rajawali Vocational School succeeded in providing a significant positive impact on increasing students' spiritual dimensions. So, this program not only creates a deeper awareness of religious values, but also integrates spiritual aspects into the vocational learning environment, contributing to the holistic development of students.

Abstract

Learning in multicultural classes presents its own challenges for teachers, especially in managing students' cultural, ethnic and religious diversity. This research aims to analyze the challenges faced by teachers and the strategies implemented in multicultural classroom learning at Muhammadiyah High School Kupang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of documentation related to policies and learning strategies. The research results show that the main challenges faced by teachers include differences in student learning styles, language barriers, and the potential for stereotypes and social conflict. To overcome this challenge, teachers apply various strategies, such as the use of inclusive learning methods, adaptive communication approaches, and character education based on tolerance and cooperation. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the strategy shows that this approach helps increase student interaction, build a harmonious learning environment, and strengthen their academic understanding. This research emphasizes the importance of support from schools in the form of teacher training and provision of resources to support multicultural learning. With the right strategy and adequate support, multicultural education can be an effective means of building an inclusive and tolerant learning environment.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pendekatan implementasi supervisi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru PAI di SMP Plus Attin Namosain, dan mengetahui faktor penghambat yang dihadapi dalam meningkatkan implementasi supervisi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru PAI di SMP Plus Attin Namosain. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yaitu merupakan sebuah metode penelitian yang memanfaatkan data kualitatif dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumnentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan supervisi yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Plus Attin Namosain rutin dilakukan dua kali dalam satu tahun atau satu kali dalam satu semester, dalam meksanakan supervisi kepala sekolah menggunakan model supervisi klinis, model supervisi artiatik, dan model supervisi ilmiah. Dalam melaksanakan supervisi kendala yang ditemui lebih kepada tidak ada persiapan yang dilakukan oleh guru yang akan disupervisi dan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang disediakan oleh sekolah untuk menunjang jalannya proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Tujuan supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah yaitu peningkatan kinerja guru PAI baik dalam aspek, penguasaan materi, pengembagan materi secara kreatif, dan pemanfaatan teknologi dan informasi dengan baik

Recognizing the pivotal role of cultural synthesis, the review spans historical perspectives, theoretical foundations, empirical studies, and pedagogical approaches. Key findings underscore the enriching impact of incorporating local cultural elements in Islamic education, fostering a more engaging and relevant learning environment. The synthesis reveals common themes, such as the adaptability of Islamic education to diverse cultural contexts and the symbiotic relationship between Islamic principles and local cultural elements. The discussion explores implications for practice and research, emphasizing the significance of cultural diversity in shaping effective Islamic education. Recommendations include promoting cultural competence among educators, integrating local culture into curriculum design, and fostering dynamic, inclusive pedagogical approaches.
