Abstract

This research analyzes telecommunication and education statistical data in Indonesia for the years 2022 and 2023, obtained from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The study aims to understand the trends in the use of information and communication technology and the condition of education in Indonesia post-COVID-19 pandemic. The data analyzed includes internet usage, mobile phone usage, educational facilities and infrastructure, school participation, as well as the outcomes and achievements of the educational process. The analysis results show a significant increase in access to information and communication technology, reflecting the efforts of the government and the private sector in expanding digital infrastructure. However, this research also reveals various challenges in the education sector that still need to be addressed, including disparities in access to technology in remote areas, the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure that still needs improvement, and the need to enhance the capacity of teachers and educational staff. Therefore, to achieve sustainable development, holistic and inclusive policies are needed, focusing not only on increasing technology access but also on improving the overall quality of education. This research provides essential insights for policymakers in formulating effective strategies to address these challenges and strengthen the education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study is a literature review aimed at identifying and analyzing the implementation of cloud-based learning and blended learning in the context of modern education. By exploring various sources, ranging from books to scholarly journals, this research examines the benefits, challenges, and opportunities offered by these two learning methods. The review findings indicate that the use of cloud-based learning provides flexibility in accessing and distributing learning materials in real time, while blended learning integrates the advantages of online and face-to-face instruction to enhance student interaction and engagement. This study also reveals that the development of technological infrastructure, professional development for educators, and the design of adaptive curricula are key factors in optimizing both learning methods. The findings are expected to serve as a guide for educational practitioners and policymakers in designing innovative and effective learning systems.

Abstract

Dalam dunia ini, meskipun sudah banyak yang beralih ke teknologi atau sistem yang modern. Namun, tentunya tidak semua dapat dilakukan atau digunakan tanpa adanya alat pembantu, baik itu membangun teknologi, memperbaikinya, hingga lain sebagainya yang berkaitan. Nah alat-alat yang digunakan pun pada dasarnya tidak hanya terdiri dari 1, melainkan ada beberapa yang biasa itu disebut sebagai perkakas. Pengenalan pola (pattern recognition) sudah menjadi bidang kajian selama ini. Beberapa metode yang dipakai dalam pengenalan pola adalah metode chain code digunakan untuk menggambarkan batas obyek atau jumlah piksel yang berada dalam satu obyek. Kode rantai (chain code) merupakan suatu teknik pengolahan citra yang didasarkan pengkodean dengan berdasarkan arah mata angin pada suatu objek citra dua dimensi. Selama ini, kode rantai banyak yang digunakan dalam pengolahan citra untuk merepresentasikan garis, kurva atau batas tepi dari suatu area. Proses pengenalan pola pada penelitian ini menggunakan gambar atau image perkakas sebanyak 3 tipe yaitu : botol (bottle), garpu (fork) dan palu (hammer), gambar yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini didesain atau digambar sendiri, aplikasi pengujian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan matlab. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan metode chain code dengan menggunakan aplikasi matlab dapat mengenali atau mendeteksi masing-masing tipe perkakas dengan tingkat akurasi 100%, serta gambar yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berekstension gif.

Abstract

Setiap Perguruan Tinggi mempunyai peraturan untuk setiap pembelajaran, demikian juga dalam hal pemberian nilai akhir dari suatu mata kuliah yang dilakukan oleh dosen, tentunya dalam memberikan penilaian harus objektif dan sesuai dengan aturan yang telah ditetapkan, dalam pemberian nilai terkadang dosen ada memberikan nilai secara acak dan tidak tentu. Untuk membantu dosen dalam pemberian nilai yang baik berdasarkan aturan yang telah ditetapkan maka penelitian ini dibuat agar para dosen tidak ragu memberikan nilai akhir terhadap setiap mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ID3 dan perhitungan pengolahan nilainya untuk log menggunakan Microsoft Excel serta aplikasi yang digunakan untuk pengujian adalah RapidMiner dengan kriteria yang digunakan adalah presensi, tugas, quiz, UTS dan UAS. Hasil dari penelitian ini RapidMiner dapat memetakan faktor atau menentukan komponen nilai akhir mahasiswa dengan baik dan cepat sehingga para dosen dapat mengikutinya sebagai panduan dalam hal pemberian nilai akhir mahasiswa pada suatu mata kuliah

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze how Qur’anic literacy serves as a strategic approach to cultivating students’ religious character in private Islamic senior high schools. Specifically, it investigates the processes, methods, and educational practices through which Qur’anic literacy influences students’ moral awareness, discipline, and spiritual integrity. Religious character formation in students is viewed as a fundamental aspect of Islamic education that integrates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains rooted in the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith. In the context of globalization and modern popular culture, this study addresses the challenges faced by educators in reinforcing Islamic values amid competing information flows and moral relativism. Methodology: The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Subjects were purposively selected, including the principal, vice principal for curriculum, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students actively engaged in Qur’anic literacy activities. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. Main Findings: The results demonstrate that Qur’anic literacy is a primary instrument for shaping students’ religious character through aspects of faith, worship, and morality. Routine activities such as recitation (tadarus), memorization, and Qur’anic exegesis foster spiritual discipline, courteous behavior, and social awareness. Novelty/Originality of this study: The study highlights the role of teachers as role models, facilitators, and motivators, supported by a curriculum systematically integrating Qur’anic values across subjects. This synergy creates a religious, contextual, and sustainable educational ecosystem, shaping students into morally upright generations.

Abstract

The development of human resources that are adaptive to the challenges of the 21st century demands a significant transformation in the education sector. This community service article aims to describe, implement, and analyze the effectiveness of an interactive digital learning model (IDLM) based on a Learning Management System (LMS) and mobile devices for core subjects (e.g., Science or Mathematics) at the Junior High School (JHS) level. This study is motivated by the finding that conventional learning is often less effective in fostering independent learning motivation and critical thinking skills among young adolescents. The service method uses an Action Research approach divided into three main cycles: planning, action, and reflection, involving 80 students and 10 teachers as partners. The IDLM implementation includes the development of digital content, interactive learning videos, and gamified assessments. The results of the service show a significant increase in the material retention index and the average score in post-intervention formative tests. Furthermore, in-depth interviews and participatory observation confirm a positive shift in students' attitudes, from passive to more proactive and collaborative in the learning process. The conclusion affirms that the structured and integrated adoption of technology acts as a catalyst for improving the quality of education, in line with the demands of the Industry 4.0 revolution.
