Abstract

In the era of technology where development is so fast where everyone on average has a mobile phone, those who have sophisticated mobile phones must have social media. Social media is one of the media that is developing very rapidly in the world. Social media used such as Facebook and Instagram, Facebook is used not only by teenagers but now parents use Facebook more, but more teenagers use Instagram than parents. Because generally now people, especially teenagers, use two social media on top of serving as teaching how to make an advertisement on their respective social media for students of Hang Nadim Batam Vocational School, the goal is that now students can learn to make a business or sell other people's products using a promotion that done using social media respectively. Product marketing or selling other people's products will be more effective through social media that we use whether we are looking for new customers or retaining existing customers.

Abstract

Progress in the field of information transformation (communication) is accelerating, allowing information about specific situations to be transmitted independent of distance, space, or time. The advancement of information and communication technologies has rendered the flow of information unstoppable. Many new communication media, such as gadgets and smartphones, have emerged. With numerous communication tools and quick access to information, entrepreneurs may communicate with clients or other parties involved in their firm more easily. Hang Nadim Batam Riau Archipelago Vocational School provided the service.

Abstract

The implementation of community service carried out at Hang Nadim Batam Vocational School aims to provide knowledge to students to be able to know and understand about entrepreneurship management which includes business planning, business opportunities, products or services that will be used as a business and implementation in implementing the business in public. Creating students to get used to using digital platform applications such as WhatsApp, Shopee, Lasada and so on, this aims to help businesses in terms of effective and efficient promotions. The methods used in community service are lectures, training and discussions. This is also done so that service participants don't get bored. The result of the service is that students know and understand about entrepreneurial management such as planning, implementation in business and bookkeeping in business, so that this is important for students to know as a provision in the community after graduating from school and getting involved in the community.

Abstract

Specialization is a process that is carried out at the high school level in the form of a specialization in science and social studies, the purpose of which is for students to receive education according to their interests and abilities. If majoring is done manually it is not effective and efficient so that students do not get the lessons and interests that are in accordance with those taken during the major. The purpose of this research is to help high school (SMA) level students in determining the major they will choose so that they can overcome the problem of confusion that often occurs. The problem of choosing a major is solved by utilizing data mining with the C4.5 method which will produce a decision tree in the form of a suitable major for students to choose from. The results of implementing the C4.5 algorithm can help schools in Batam determine the direction of students to get the right education in high school. From the results of this study, the prediction accuracy of student majors was obtained with a value of 83.33% and a precision of 92.31%.

Abstract

Wholesale stores are a promising retail business today, judging from the movement of their businesses which are increasingly loved by the public because prices are relatively cheaper compared to supermarkets, supermarkets and minimarkets, this business must be able to meet consumer demand so that they are not inferior to similar businesses, including In managing the placement of types of goods on shelves, so far transaction data has been left unattended without being utilized to obtain new information. This study aims to apply the Apriori algorithm datamining technique in analyzing consumer purchasing tendencies at one of the Grocery Shops in Cipta Asri housing, the method used is an in-depth analysis of customer transactions on data that is already owned and data comes from various sources of information. The results obtained from processing sales transaction data in the form of itemset with the application of the concept of datamining association analysis are known to have a support value of 20% and 80% confidence, the results obtained where the combination of goods that are often purchased with Milk, Rice and snacks with each support value of 22.39 %, 83.33% confidence then Rice, Soft drink and Snack support value of 20.90%, Confidence 73.68%.

Abstract

Abstract: Because of the presence of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, digital technology and the internet have become the backbone of technology, one of which is social media. Different types of popular social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and instagram, serve different functions and serve different purposes. The Marketplace is a social media platform that has many advantages when used properly. Traders can sell their goods online on the marketplace by providing clear photos and descriptions. Furthermore, the payment method is made on the marketplace, on average, after the goods arrive, they pay or many call it COD (cash on delivery). Everything has changed, however, as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. The government's health protocol restrictions have resulted in a decrease in income. The purpose of this service is to provide guidance to the Hang Nadim Batam School. The method used is by conducting a survey, then training and finally an evaluation. The results of this service showed that 80% of students could understand digital marketing technology          Keywords: digital marketing; entrepreneurship; social media; pandemic covid  Abstrak: Dengan hadirnya Revolusi Industri 4.0, teknologi digital dan internet menjadi tulang punggung teknologi, salah satunya media sosial. Berbagai jenis media sosial populer, seperti Twitter, Facebook, dan instagram, memiliki fungsi dan tujuan yang berbeda. Marketplace adalah platform media sosial yang memiliki banyak keuntungan jika digunakan dengan benar. Pedagang dapat menjual barangnya secara online di marketplace dengan memberikan foto dan deskripsi yang jelas. Selain itu metode pembayaran yang dilakukan di marketplace rata-rata setelah barang sampai mereka membayar atau banyak yang menyebutnya COD (cash on delivery). Namun, semuanya berubah akibat pandemi Covid-19. Pembatasan protokol kesehatan yang dilakukan pemerintah berdampak pada penurunan pendapatan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pembinaan pada Sekolah Hang Nadim Batam. Metode yang dilakukan dengan melakukan survey selanjutnya pelatihan dan terakhir evaluasi. Hasil dari pengbadian ini didapat bahwa siswa-siswa 80% bisa mengerti dengan teknologi digital marketing. Kata kunci: digital marketing; kewirausahaan; media sosial; pandemi covid

Abstract

Diera tahun melenial digital marketing sangatlah penting, Digital marketing adalah suatu kegiatan pemasaran atau promosi sebuah brand atau produk menggunakan media digital atau internet. Tujuan digital marketing adalah untuk menarik konsumen dan calon konsumen secara cepat. Seperti yang kita tahu, penerimaan teknologi dan internet di masyarakat sangat luas sehingga tidak heran kegiatan pemasaran secara digital dijadikan pilihan utama oleh perusahaan-perusahaan. Akibatnya, perusahaan saling berkompetisi membuat konten yang menarik untuk ditampilkan dalam pemasarannya di dunia maya. Banyaknya digital marketing yang dipakai oleh perusahaan-perusahaan, membuktikan bahwa Digital Marketing memiliki banyak kelebihan dan manfaat yang dapat diperoleh. Berikut beberapa kelebihan dari Digital marketing dibandingkan dengan pemasaran konvensional. Digital marketing dapat meningkatkan usaha pemasaran bahkan pada era covid-19 saat ini pemanfaatan digital teknologi tersebut menjadikan prospek bisnis baru. Untuk itu dnegan adanya pembinaan ini, diharapkan siswa-siswi terbantu dalam pemahaman tentang pengabdian digital marketing dan prospek bisnis yang baik dan bagus dalam situasi perkembangan IPTEK dan dalam masa sulit saat ini di SMK Hang Nadim Batu Aji Kota Batam. Agar kedepannya siswa-siswi SMK yang telah dibentuk untuk menjadi individu yang siap pakai dapat menentukan karir terutama dibidang wira usaha.

Abstract

The city of Batam is a city where immigrants are generally not native, day and night along the streets there are many people selling culinary delights, currently one of the things that is in great demand is durian which has many types such as durian in Bintan, Tanjung Batu, Medan, Padang, Palembang and Malaysia. The people of Batam, like those in general who live in Nongsa, Botania, Batam Center, Batu Aji, Tiban and Bengkong, buy durian from areas such as durian from Sumatra Island because there are many durian sellers on the side of the road day or night, but durian sellers in the Nagoya area generally sell durian from the Bintan, Ujung Batu and Malaysia areas with different prices from durian from Sumatra Island. With this, the author looks for manual results first and will match these results using the a priori algorithm method and assisted by RapidMiner software to ensure that the manual calculations carried out will get the same results using this software. The results of the calculations show that Musangking, Kampung, and 101 durian are the 3 types of durian that are very popular and liked by buyers at KimHui Batam Durian Shop.

Abstract

This research focuses on optimizing sales and inventory management for "Gudang Computer" company through the implementation of the FP-Growth method in data mining. Despite operating since October 2020, the company faces challenges in managing sales transactions and inventory. Analysis of transaction data from January to December 2022 resulted in two itemsets, namely TV4G and MWK, meeting the minimum requirements of 20% support and 70% confidence. With these findings, the research demonstrates that if customers purchase TV4G, there is a high likelihood they will also purchase a Mouse Wireless Keyboard. This discovery is expected to assist "Gudang Computer" in operating more efficiently by formulating more targeted sales strategies.

Abstract

The rapid technological advancements in Indonesia, particularly in the field of telecommunication infrastructure and widespread internet access, have brought about significant changes in the social fabric of the community. This transformation is notably observed in the transportation sector, where traditional motorcycle taxis have evolved into online services like Maxim in Batam City. This research aims to leverage the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm for sentiment analysis on user reviews of Maxim's online motorcycle taxi service. Through data mining techniques, the SVM algorithm, implemented via RapidMiner, classifies reviews into positive and negative sentiments to enhance service quality and user experience. The evaluation of the SVM model reveals a satisfactory performance with 64.65% accuracy, 67.41% recall, 75.82% precision, 62.44% F1-score, and an AUC of 0.67.
