Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dan keaktifan siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri Palur 02 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan pembelajaran menggunakan media Counting Box. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom Action Research). Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri Palur 02 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 23 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media Counting Box dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dan keaktifan siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri Palur 02. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dilihat dari Krtiteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) atau nilai minimal ≥75 dari siklus I ke siklus II yang meningkat dari 64,56% menjadi 91,03 %. Keaktifan siswa juga meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II yang dilihat dari meningkatnya skor rata-rata presentase keaktifan, dari 64,56 % menjadi 78,26 %.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keberagaman kearifan lokal yang kaya, mencakup berbagai tradisi dan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan agar identitas budaya tetap terjaga. Pembelajaran berbasis etnosains menjadi solusi inovatif untuk mengintegrasikan budaya dengan ilmu pengetahuan, sehingga siswa dapat memahami dan menghargai kearifan lokal melalui karakter kebhinekaan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kajian etnosains yang terdapat dalam proses pembuatan rempeyek kacang untuk menumbuhkan kebhinekaan global pada materi IPA SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPAS berbasis etnosains melalui pembuatan rempeyek kacang mendorong pengembangan elemen ketiga dimensi berkebhinekaan global, yaitu mengenal dan menghargai terhadap budaya, refleksi dan tanggung jawab mengenai pengalaman keberagaman, dan berkeadilan sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan siswa dapat meningkatkan dan mengimplementasikan karakter kebhinekaan global dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Magic Multiplication Box as a medium for teaching multiplication to third-grade students at Mranggen 01 Public Elementary School, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. The Magic Multiplication Box is a visual aid used as a learning tool for basic multiplication (1–10) in third-grade classrooms. This qualitative research employed data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the third-grade teacher and three students from Mranggen 01 Public Elementary School. The findings indicate that: The implementation of the Magic Multiplication Box as a multiplication learning medium helped students grasp the concept of multiplication through the visualization of repeated addition. Out of 17 students, there was an improvement in their understanding and ability to solve problems independently. The third-grade students showed a positive response, displaying enthusiasm and active participation during lessons using the Magic Multiplication Box. However, challenges were identified, such as the limited availability of only one teaching aid and the need for further development in the design and features of the Magic Multiplication Box.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) values and the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) through a behaviorist approach in shaping the character of fifth-grade students at SDN Gondangsari 1 Klaten. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings reveal that consistent application of positive and negative reinforcement effectively shapes student behavior to become more disciplined, responsible, and active in learning activities. PPKn values and P5 dimensions such as collaboration, honesty, and independence were developed through habituation and direct reinforcement by the teacher. However, implementing this strategy requires flexibility, as not all students respond in the same manner. Therefore, the behaviorist strategy is proven effective when combined with a responsive approach tailored to students' needs. These findings are relevant for teachers, schools, and curriculum developers in fostering character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan kedisiplinan belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri 2 Bulukerto tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Permasalahan yang diangkat berangkat dari adanya keragaman hasil belajar siswa yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh pola pengasuhan di rumah dan tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 17 siswa diperoleh melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa (t = 2,956; sig = 0,010), serta antara kedisiplinan belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa (t = 3,763; sig = 0,002). Uji simultan juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar (F = 37,526; sig = 0,000). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh yang diterapkan orang tua dan tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa merupakan dua faktor yang saling mendukung dalam meningkatkan capaian akademik siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter yang termuat pada buku tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian diskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa data kualitatif mengenai pendidikan karakter yang termuat pada buku tematik. Sumber data buku tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku pengarang Heny Kusumawati, S.SI terbitan kemendikbud edisi revisi tahun 2017. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dilakukan dengan mencari dan mengumpulkan data mengenai pendidikan karakter dalam buku tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku dan jurnal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada lima implementasi pendidikan karakter yaitu Pelaksanaan Mengajarkan, Pelaksanaan Keteladanan, Pelaksanaan Menentukan Prioritas, Pelaksanaan Praksis Prioritas, Pelaksanaan Refleksi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the challenges and obstacles in implementing differentiated learning in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) for fourth-grade students at Galeh 1 Public Elementary School, Tangen District, Sragen Regency, in the  2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with the study conducted at Galeh 01 Elementary School in April 2025. The research subjects included the fourth-grade teacher and students, consisting of 8 male and 11 female students. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using the interactive data analysis model by Miles & Huberman. The results of the study show that: a) content differentiation was evident through the teacher's systematic preparation of IPAS teaching modules, provision of learning materials, and the use of PowerPoint and concrete images as media; b) process differentiation was demonstrated through varied assignments in group and individual formats, tailored approaches according to academic levels, and the use of an LCD projector to support learning; c) product differentiation was observed through students being given opportunities to present and the teacher providing summative assessments as a measure of understanding; d) the learning environment element was reflected in the teacher creating a fun and conducive classroom atmosphere. 2) The challenges and obstacles in implementing differentiated learning included: a) the presence of passive students, b) limited facilities and infrastructure, c) the time-consuming process of preparing learning components, and d) student dependency on peers.

Abstract

Education serves as a strategic means to shape the character and identity of a nation. In the era of rapid globalization and scientific advancement, Indonesia’s education system faces significant challenges, such as maintaining global diversity without neglecting the progress of science and technology. One relevant approach to addressing these challenges is integrating the values of Pancasila through the Pancasila Student Profile in the learning process, particularly in science subjects at the elementary school level. This study aims to describe the implementation of ethnoscience values in science (IPA) learning in elementary schools as a means of instilling global diversity through the reinforcement of local wisdom. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with teachers and students, and document studies at elementary schools that integrate local culture into science learning. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The results show that science learning based on ethnoscience can be integrated through contextual activities, one of which is the tie-dye batik-making activity at school. This activity not only enhances students’ scientific understanding but also instills values of diversity such as appreciation for local cultural heritage, collaboration, and openness to differences. Thus, ethnoscience based on local wisdom has the potential to strengthen students’ local identity while also shaping the character of global citizens who value diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the numeracy ability of third-grade students of SD Negeri Cabeyan 02. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design, especially with the type of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all third-grade students at SD Negeri Cabeyan 02 and SD Negeri Pohgogor 01, totaling 29 people. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, where all populations were used as samples. Which resulted in class III of SD Negeri Cabeyan 02 as the experimental class and class III of SD Negeri Puhgogor 01 as the control class. The analysis of this study used the t-test (independent sample t-test), which was previously carried out with the normality test and homogeneity test as a prerequisite test with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.039 < 0.05, which means that the learning process with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach has an effect on students' numeracy abilities.

Abstract

Analysis of Differentiated Learning through the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematic) Approach on the Numeracy Literacy Skills of Grade III Students of State Elementary School 02 Jatiyoso in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of STEAM differentiated learning, in relation to the numeracy literacy skills. This research is a qualitative case study type, allowing researchers to investigate or analyze a phenomenon comprehensively, intensively, in detail, and in depth, the research phenomenon is still holistic, complex, and dynamic. Through qualitative research methods, researchers will analyze differentiated learning through the STEAM approach which will be linked to how the numeracy literacy skills. The results of the study indicate that the application of differentiated learning through the STEAM approach provides good learning for the numeracy literacy skills. This finding was obtained through triangulation of data that had been processed by researchers through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests consisting of 2 types of tests, namely formative evaluation in the form of the Mathematics Problem Solving Test (TPMM) and the Project Problem Solving Test (TPSP) which showed progress in the ability to read story problems, identify important information, and solve mathematical problems based on real contexts. This is in accordance with the approach used, namely STEAM which is centered on projects based on real-world problems, and is a multidisciplinary learning approach that is integrated to foster and improve the realization of the objectives of the independent learning curriculum designed according to 21st century skills.
