Abstract

Someone who has an interest will be stimulated to be enthusiastic about an activity, including studying. Students' learning interest can be influenced by the learning media implemented by the teacher during the learning process. This research aims to determine the effect of using panorama and Wordwall learning media and compare the effectiveness of the two media in learning Pancasila Education on the learning interest of class V students at SDN Pulorejo 01. This research uses the Classroom Action Research method. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. From the teaching practice activities that have been carried out by the author by applying panorama and wordwall media in Pancasila education learning in class V at SDN Pulorejo 01, it can be seen that these two media have an influence on the learning interest of class V students at SDN Pulorejo 01. The students were initially passive and less active becomes more active after using learning media in teaching and learning activities. Based on the research that has been carried out, the most effective way to apply Pancasila education for class V at SDN Pulorejo 01 is wordwall.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif media pembelajaran berupa Wordwall dan video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan minat peserta didik kelas IV SD N 1 Sarirejo dalam belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai pengalaman siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan kedua media pembelajaran tersebut melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi kelas. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan hasil menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa Wordwall, yang menyediakan latihan interaktif seperti kuis. Disisi lain, penggunaan media video pembelajaran juga menampilkan visual yang menarik. Dari kedua media pembelajaran yang sudah diujikan pada penelitian ini, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa Wordwall lebih signifikan dalam menumbuhkan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik, meskipun kedua media tersebut berhasil meningkatkan minat belajar. Ketika menggunakan media pembelajaran Wordwall daripada media video pembelajaran, peserta didik merasa lebih terlibat dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, serta memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik dan calon pendidik untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of Quizizz and Wordwall in enhancing fourth-grade students' interest in learning Civics Education (PPKn) at SDN Manyaran 01 using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and questionnaires for data collection. Descriptive statistical techniques and thematic analysis were used to analyze the data. Results show that Quizizz outperforms Wordwall in boosting students' learning interest. Quizizz's gamification features, such as leaderboards and group challenges, significantly enhance active participation. Conversely, Wordwall, while interactive and enjoyable, lacks competitive elements, resulting in a less noticeable increase in engagement. Key factors supporting Quizizz include its accessibility and competitive features that foster collaboration. However, its reliance on stable internet connectivity is a limitation. In contrast, Wordwall provides an engaging learning experience but offers less flexibility in customization. Overall, Quizizz demonstrates greater effectiveness in increasing students' interest and engagement, aligning with research that highlights the benefits of game-based tools in improving student motivation and participation. This study underscores the importance of incorporating interactive and competitive elements in educational media to optimize student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of problem-based learning on improving student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject class v SD Negeri 2 Podorejo, with a total of 27 students consisting of 10 male students and 17 female students. This research uses a descriptive classroom action research method. Data collection techniques past interviews with the head of the class teacher and the researcher also carried out phase I and II learning cycles. The results of this research show that some students are very enthusiastic during learning activities and participate actively. Students with high intelligence easily understand the material and get high grades, while students with low levels of ability tend to have difficulty and get low grades. The researcher encountered two obstacles; first, the researcher still needed to recognize and understand the characteristics of each student and the time limitations in carrying out the learning cycle.
