Abstract

This research aimed to produce the learning model innovation by developing R2H learning strategies based on conservation values in the Civic Education Development for Elementary School course. The research method employed was education research with development approach (R&D).This research was taken place in Elementary School Teacher Education Department of Education Faculty, Semarang State University. The subject of research consisted of students and corresponding lecturers.The result of research obtained by the author was the preliminary study by mapping competency and indicator in the Elementary School Civic Education Development Course, and then designing a product in the form of course learning plan according to the research purpose through reflection thinking, reinforcement & habituation (r2h) based on conservation values that in turn could be used or trialed with the treatment class. Before the trial, the design of learning model product was consulted with the expert validator. Validator gave input related the equilibrium in developing the strategy used and confirmed that the model designed could be trialed, and then the author trialed it with the treatment class using one group pretest posttest design. The result of pretest and posttest showed that there was an increased in the learning achievement from 45.88% to 88.95%, when calculated using N-Gain formula, the score of 0.79 was obtained meaning that the increase belonged to high category, while the questionnaire of model innovation effectiveness showed that there was an increase in learning effectiveness before and after using the learning model innovation from 53.29% to 89.31%. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the learning model innovation was effective to be developed in the Civic Education Development for Elementary School course learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to develop an innovative medium in learning Elementary School-Civic Education (PKn SD) Development course in order to improve the lecturer competency in developing good learning media, improving learning quality, and producing a computer and internet-based media product. The development of innovative media in this study was carried out by utilizing mind map application available in internet. This study was taken place in Elementary School Teacher Education, Pedagogic Faculty, Semarang State University. The subject of research consisted of corresponding students and lecturers. This study was an educational research with research and development approach. The procedure of research included preliminary study with descriptive qualitative approach, media development design, design validation and design improvement, and followed with limited trial on media design by applying experimental method (before-after), and product revision, if any, and final product development. The result achieved in this study was that the author had conducted a preliminary study by mapping competency and indicator into PKn SD Development course and then designed the lecturing learning plan as needed by utilizing the mind map application as learning media. The author had designed an innovative media using mind map application and had the media design validated by the competent validators in their area. The mind map application-based learning media had been tried out in treatment class. The result of test with the data processed by the author showed the following result. 1) The result of pretest and posttest showed significant improvement; it could be seen from the number of correct answer minimally 5 (40%) and maximally 13 (63%) in pre-test result and minimally 16 (80%) and maximally 20 (100%) in posttest result. 2) The result of content quality and objective aspect questionnaire before and after using mind map application showed the ratio of 55%: 89%, with instructional quality aspect of 54% : 88%, and technical quality aspect of 51% : 90%, so that the overall ratio was 54% : 89%. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be found that the mind map application use can be developed further as an innovative learning media utilizing computer technology and informatics technology mastery support. The author organized the result of study into a scientific article to be published and organized a final report as accountability.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the learning media of tribe-culture comic (kokuya) at fourth grade elementary school students.The subject of this research were the fourth grade students at Petung 2 elementary school, Pakis District, MagelangRegency. The study was research and development (R&D). This research method is to develop and validate products ineducation and learning. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, anddocumentation. The final data analysis uses t-test and n-gain. The results of the study showed that kokuya learning mediacan be used in learning based on expert judgment of 75% and media expert at 90.9%, as well as the results of t-testcalculations where t count <t-abel is - 11.4388 and n-gain 0.52 included in the medium category. Student learningoutcomes increased from pretest by 71.25 increased in posttest by 86.25. It can be concluded that the learning media oftribes and cultural comics (kokuya) is very feasible and effective to be used in improving the learning outcomes of civicslearning especially for the material about tribes and cultural in Indonesian.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan inovasi pembelajaran dengan mengembangkan media weblog yang berbasis Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) dengan pendekatan critical thinking pada mata kuliah Pendidkan Kewarganegaraan. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi sebagai pendukung dalam mengembangkan media. Weblog sebagai sarana media pembelajaran yang digunakan peneliti dalam inovasi pembelajaran PKn di Perguruan Tinggi.Tempat penelitian yaitu Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Subyek penelitiannya yaitu mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah PKn. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian pendidikan dengan pendekatan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian yaitu studi pendahuluan dengan pendekatan kualitatif memetakan capaian pembelajaran lulusan, capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah, dan kemampuan yang diharapkan dalam mata kuliah PKn kemudian memilih salah satu pokok bahasan yang dapat dikembangkan dengan menggunakan media weblog berbasis pendekatan critical thinking. Setelah pokok bahasan ditentukan, kemudian peneliti merancang dan mengembangkan media weblog berbasis pendekatan critical thinking yang akan digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Sebelum diujikan, dilakukan validasi oleh validator yang kompeten di bidangnya. Masukan terkait dengan rancangan media diperbaiki dan kemudian media pembelajaran tersebut diujikan pada kelas treatment. Pengembangan yang dilakukan menunjukkan rancangan media pembelajaran layak untuk dikembangkan dengan melihat uji kelayakan melalui angket validator yang menunjukkan rata-rata 91,57% dalam penilaian produk dengan dilihat dari tiga kriteria dan sepuluh indikator sehingga produk tersebut masuk dalam kategori kelayakan tinggi. Selain itu, dilihat dari peningkatan kefeektifan penggunaan inovasi media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, peningkatan terjadi dari 54, 58% menjadi 89,79 % sehingga secara sederhana dapat dilihat terjadi signifikansi peningkatan 35,21%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran weblog berbasis pendekatan critical thinking tersebut efektif untuk dikembangkan dan digunakan sebagai pendukung dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan metode ETH berban-tuan media question card terhadap hasil belajar PKn materi “Keputusan Bersama” siswa kelas V SD, Gugus Kenanga, Kabupaten Pati. Jenis penelitian yang diguna-kan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD, Gugus Kenanga, Ka-bupaten Pati. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas V SDN Trangkil 03 (ke-las eksperimen) dan siswa kelas V SDN Kajar 01 (kelas kontrol). Teknik pe-ngambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data hasil be-lajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen lebih be-sar dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Mean posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 68 dan mean posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 78. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai thitung (2,228) > ttabel (1,673) berarti bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode ETH lebih besar dibandingkan metode. Nilai Gain kelas kontrol sebesar -0,14692 (rendah) dan kelas eksperimen 0,38576 (sedang). Hasil tersebut memberikan ke-simpulan bahwa metode ETH efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran PKn materi “Keputusan Bersama” di kelas V SD, Gugus Kenanga, Kabupaten Pati.

Abstract

This study aims to test and prove whether there was a relationship between scouting extracurricular activities andparenting styles with the formation of disciplinary character for the 5 grade students of the Gugus Mawardhi. The methodused in this research is correlation. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation andquestionnaires. The prerequisite tests carried out were the normality test, linearity test, reliability test, andmulticollinearity test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, simple correlation, multiple correlation, andthe F-test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between scout educationextracurricular activities with the formation of disciplinary character in grade 5 elementary school students. The resultsshowed that rcount was greater than rtable, namely 0.5290.179 with a significance level of 5%. The results showed thatrcount was greater than rtable, namely 0.6370.179 with a significance level of 5%.. These results indicate rcount isgreater than r table, namely 0.677 0.179 with a significance level of 5%, the relationship between the scoutsextracurricular education variables and the formation of disciplinary character is in the moderate category. The results ofthe percentage of student questionnaire responses showed a very positive relationship between scouting extracurricularactivities, parenting styles, and the character of student discipline simultaneously.Keywords: scouting, parenting style, discipline

Abstract

This study aims to describe school literacy activities to develop reading habits for third grade students of SD NegeriDiponegoro. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The methods of data collection using interviews,documentation, and field notes. Then the data is tested using credibility and confirmability tests. The results of this studyindicate that: (1) school literacy activities at the habituation stage are proven by providing facilities and infrastructure tosupport, creating an environment which is rich of text, the role of teachers and implementing 15 minutes of readingactivities regularly and can repeatedly build students' reading habits. (2) The supporting factors of school literacyactivities are facilities and infrastructure, allocation of funds and time, also the role of teachers. a, the inhibiting factorsare the students low reading interest, incomplete facilities and infrastructure, also the teachers are not optimal in schoolliteracy activities. (3) The roles of teacher in school literacy activities are to direct activities and help students in choosinga book. (4) The ways to build students' reading habits through school literacy activities, they are providing various typesof books which are students like, increasing students' interest in reading books, motivating students' and forming anenvironment that supports reading habits. The conclusion of this study is that school literacy activities can build students'reading habits through 15 minutes of reading regularly and repeatedly supported by facilities and infrastructure, theenvironment and the role of the teacher.Keywords: school literacy activities; reading habit

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan soft skill guru dalam mengembangakan kompetensi memanfaatkan google form untuk media pembelajaran. Guru diberikan keahlian secara terbimbing dalam merancang media google form. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu di SD Negeri Bringin 01, lama kegiatan ini direncanakan selama enam bulan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian antara lain : penyampaian materi dari tim pengabdi terkait penggunaan aplikasi google form sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran. Para peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa produk google form yang dihasilkan oleh peserta (guru SD). Luaran dari pengabdian ini berupa sampel desain porduk google form yang dikembangkan dan dihasilkan oleh peserta (guru SD), dan laporan pengabdian yang tidak dipublikasikan. Ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi tim pengabdi yaitu penguasaan kemampuan komputer para guru yang belum merata sehingga hanya beberapa peserta tertentu yang mampu menyelesaikan produk media. Pengabdian ini mendapat respon yang positif dari para guru dan mereka sangat senang mendapatkan tambahan ilmu dalam mengembangkan media dan peningkatan kompetensi yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran value clarification technique (VCT) berbasis media windows movie maker sebagai bentuk inovasi dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan nilai dan norma. Pembelajaran VCT merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjukkan dan membangun nilai-nilai yang penting untuk dikembangkan pada setiap diri individu dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara. Pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan dukungan video yang menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran untuk mendukung revitalisasi nilai. Penelitan ini dilaksanakan di jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendidikan dengan pendekatan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian yaitu peneliti sudah melakukan studi pendahuluan dengan memetakan capaian pembelajaran lulusan, capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah, dan kemampuan yang diharapkan dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan Nilai dan Norma yang cocok didukung dengan model pembelajaran VCT dengan media video movie maker. Kelayakan Model pembelajaran VCT berbasis Media Windows Movie Maker terlihat dari hasil uji kelayakan validator yang menunjukkan bahwa rancangan model dapat diujikan di kelas treatment dengan kategori layak digunakan dalam penelitian. Keefektifan Model pembelajaran VCT berbasis Media Windows Movie Maker dapat dilihat dari hasil uji  dikelas treatment dengan pola one group pretest posttest design menunjukkan hasil pretest dan posttest terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari 45,69% menjadi 88,12%, jika dihitung dengan rumus N-Gain mendapatkan hasil 0,78 yang berarti terjadi peningkatan dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan melalui angket kefektifan inovasi model menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kefektifan pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan inovasi model pembelajaran terjadi peningkatan dari 53,49% menjadi 89,15%. Kata kunci : VCT, media windows movie maker, pembelajaran, nilai dan norma
