Abstract

Implementasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di dalam suatu Perusahaan memerlukan komunikasi yang efektif antara manajemen dan karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana ilmu komunikasi membantu penerapan kebijakan K3 di PT. PLN (Persero). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang terbuka dan partisipatif memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur K3 di perusahaan. Unit kerja PT PLN yang berbeda melakukan wawancara dan observasi partisipatif. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan beberapa masalah dalam komunikasi K3 dan menawarkan solusi yang berbasis teknologi dan interaktif. Hasilnya membantu dalam pengembangan metode komunikasi yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja di perusahaan energi.

Abstract

Penggunaan komunikasi digital dalam dunia kerja telah menjadi elemen penting dalam dunia kerja modern. Dengan hadirnya berbagai alat komunikasi digital, proses komunikasi antar individu dan tim menjadi lebih cepat dan efektif, hal ini tentu dapat meningkatkan produktivitas, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan, dan mempermudah akses informasi di berbagai lokasi. Tujuan penelitian ini membahas peran penting komunikasi digital dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas dalam lingkungan kerja PT PLN (Persero) UID S2JB serta mengidentifikasi masalah yang mungkin timbul akibat ketergantungan pada teknologi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, kolaborasi antar tim, serta pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan akurat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT PLN (Persero) UID Sumatera Selatan, Jambi, dan Bengkulu, dengan sampel yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis mendalam mengenai bagaimana transformasi digital memengaruhi pola komunikasi internal perusahaan dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja karyawan. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi perusahaan dalam mengoptimalkan strategi komunikasi digital guna meningkatkan produktivitas dan efektivitas operasional.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the marketing communications strategy of Sanggar Musik Gita Loka (SMGL) in attracting the interest of prospective new students as well as awareness, using the SOSTAC analysis method modeled by Paul R. Smith (2022) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the use of social media Instagram and Facebook at Sanggar Musik Gita Loka was successful in attracting the interest of prospective new students as well as awareness, although the percentage was not as high as conventional promotional tools. The results of this research reveal that overall Sanggar Musik Gita Loka (SMGL)' has succeeded in implementing the SOSTAC strategy in attracting prospective new students even though it has not yet 100% met the target.

Abstract

Mass media plays a significant roIe in shaping pubIic opinion by constructing reaIity through news framing. This study aims to analyze how Detik.com and Sindonews.com frame the symbolism of the "Putra Mulyono" vest worn by Kaesang during his public appearances. Using Robert N. Entman's framing model and a qualitative constructivist approach, the study examines news articles and identifies differences in the narratives constructed by the two media outlets. Detik.com tends to present a positive narrative about Kaesang, emphasizing his creativity and humor in responding to criticism. Conversely, Sindonews.com frames the act critically, portraying it as a symbol of the arrogance of the ruling family. These differences highlight how media ideologies influence news narratives, affecting public perceptions and political discourse. The findings underline the importance of media literacy for critically assessing information and understanding the implications of media framing in shaping public opinion.

Abstract

This study tests the integrated marketing communication (IMC) strategy on visit intention in Indonesia. This study also aims to test the effect of IMC on brand heritage and the mediation effect of brand heritage on IMC and interest in visiting museums. The sample in this study was 240 respondents. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires online via Google Forms and processed using the SEM model with AMOS software. The results of the study showed that IMC had a positive effect on the intention to visit museums. Effective IMC (including advertising, direct promotion, direct marketing, public relations, WOM, events and experiences, and interactive marketing) can increase the intention to visit museums in Indonesia. In addition, the study's results prove the positive effect of IMC on brand heritage and the effect of brand heritage on interest in visiting museums. This study also found that brand heritage can mediate IMC and interest in visiting museums. The results of this study are expected to help museum owners and managers have the right and effective IMC strategy to increase tourist interest in visiting museums. The right IMC strategy will also increase brand heritage and interest in visiting museums.

Abstract

As museums in Indonesia navigate shifting audience preferences, they face growing challenges in attracting younger visitors, largely due to the lack of innovation in marketing communication strategies. The sharp decline in visitor numbers underscores the urgency of adopting a more effective approach, with Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) emerging as a key strategy. This study examines the impact of IMC on museum brand awareness in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 240 Generation Z respondents selected through purposive sampling over a three-month period. Data was analyzed using CB-SEM with AMOS software. Findings reveal that IMC exerts a positive and significant influence on brand awareness, strengthening museum visibility and engagement among younger audiences. The study highlights the need for museums to leverage all IMC elements to create interactive experiences and expand their marketing reach. Museum managers are encouraged to integrate participatory initiatives that resonate with younger generations, ensuring sustained relevance and competitive positioning in the digital era

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana media daring membingkai representasi perempuan dalam konteks politik dan industri digital. Studi ini membandingkan dua artikel berita dari Kompas.com dan SerambiNews.com yang memuat informasi serupa mengenai keterlibatan perempuan sebagai developer game di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivis, serta metode analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompas.com membingkai isu dengan pendekatan informatif dan netral, menempatkan perempuan sebagai aktor rasional yang setara dalam partisipasi publik. Sementara itu, SerambiNews.com cenderung menghadirkan framing simbolik dan emosional, yang menampilkan perempuan sebagai sosok yang “berhasil melawan dominasi laki-laki” melalui narasi glorifikatif. Perbedaan ini menunjukkan bahwa media tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi, tetapi turut membentuk persepsi publik terhadap identitas dan peran perempuan di ruang publik. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi media dan kesadaran kritis dalam membaca wacana gender di media massa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya komunikasi anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Surabaya dalam talkshow media serta memahami keterkaitannya dengan identitas partai, karakteristik daerah pemilihan (dapil), dan strategi komunikasi politik yang diterapkan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan paradigma konstruktivisme. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara purposif, terdiri atas lima anggota DPRD dari berbagai fraksi dan dapil yang aktif sebagai narasumber dalam program talkshow televisi maupun digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi yang ditampilkan oleh para anggota DPRD bersifat variatif dan dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang profesional, konteks dapil, serta citra partai politik. Gaya komunikasi verbal yang digunakan meliputi gaya lugas, solutif, naratif, teknis, hingga persuasif. Sementara gaya nonverbal ditunjukkan melalui ekspresi wajah, intonasi, kontak mata, dan postur tubuh yang memperkuat pesan verbal. Strategi komunikasi dalam talkshow difokuskan pada penyampaian pesan yang efektif, adaptif, dan sesuai dengan karakter audiens serta isu aktual yang dibahas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa gaya komunikasi anggota DPRD merupakan strategi politik yang disesuaikan dengan konteks sosial, ideologis, dan media, serta menjadi instrumen penting dalam membangun citra dan kepercayaan publik di era komunikasi politik digital.

Abstract

The main focus of this study is to examine the dynamics of therapeutic communication within the process of assisting survivors of gender-based sexual violence at the Women’s Crisis Center (WCC) Jombang. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method and a constructivist paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five counselors, two survivors, and two parents of survivors. The findings reveal that the therapeutic communication applied consists of four stages: preparation, introduction, accompaniment, and final stage (termination). The preparation stage involves introducing the institution, mapping the case, and adjusting communication strategies based on the referral source. WCC divides its case assistance services into two types: Hotline (the institution’s official social media platform),Direct Visit (when survivors or families visit the office directly) and Outreach (proactive case outreach). During the introduction stage, counselors build trust through empathetic approaches and communication tailored to the survivor's age and psychological condition. The accompaniment stage is carried out continuously through both face-to-face counseling and digital communication such as WhatsApp, providing emotional, social, and instrumental support. Counselors and clients form a partnership to achieve mutually agreed-upon goals. The final stage includes monitoring and evaluating the survivor’s psychosocial transition toward independence. The therapeutic communication techniques used by counselors include verbal, non-verbal, and recreational or relaxation approaches. Challenges identified in the process include survivor resistance, unsupportive family conditions, and difficulties in initiating communication. Nonetheless, counselors are able to flexibly and empathetically adapt their approaches while maintaining strict confidentiality. This study underscores the importance of professional therapeutic communication with a strong orientation toward the recovery and empowerment of survivors of sexual violence.
