Abstract

Communication in the health industry can influence patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is an essential factor that can stimulate changes in healthcare quality through temporary patient-centred policies that communicate patient engagement in treatment decisions. However, patient satisfaction is challenging to define broadly, and satisfaction surveys do not often represent patient expectations. Numerous hospital customer satisfaction studies do not guarantee the outcomes of customer satisfaction questionnaires that deeply examine patients' perspectives on their intended goals or objectives. This study will examine how patient communication experiences, particularly for inpatients and hospital services, might shape expectations through data gathering via interviews and focus group discussions. This research utilizes communication experiences as the object of this research and the perspective of hospitalized patients or their families as the subject. Data was collected through interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) to acquire information directly from the experiences of patients or patient families in four public hospitals in West Java Province with levels B and A. This study employs a qualitative analysis method that integrates a phenomenological approach and theories, using the Press Geney Experiment Patient Experience Survey as an analysis tool. The study's findings demonstrate that providing patients with relevant information at the right moment can make them feel more at ease and optimistic about their treatment and build trust in healthcare facilities.

Abstract

The proliferation of social media has transformed platforms like Twitter into dynamic arenas for expressing public sentiment during geopolitical crises. This study examines global public opinion on the Gaza and Ukraine conflicts by employing a deep learning-based sentiment analysis model utilizing a Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) architecture. A total of 24,177 tweets were collected and pre-processed, followed by sentiment labeling using a hybrid lexical approach that combines VADER and TextBlob. Feature extraction was conducted using the TF-IDF method, and the Bi-GRU model was trained and evaluated using standard performance metrics. The model achieved an accuracy of 88.06% and an average F1-score of 85.07%, demonstrating superior performance in recognizing sentiment, especially for negative expressions. Word cloud analysis further revealed the dominance of emotionally charged terms such as "genocide" and "pray for Gaza," indicating the strong affective orientation of online discourse. The study confirms the efficacy of Bi-GRU in handling informal and contextually complex texts. It highlights the role of social media in articulating collective emotions and shaping public narratives during conflict. These findings offer methodological contributions to the field of natural language processing and practical implications for real-time crisis monitoring, policymaking, and humanitarian communication strategies.

Abstract

Indonesia's agricultural sector faces a regeneration crisis due to the negative stigma that farming is dirty and unpromising. Sekolah Tani Muda (Sektimuda) responds to this by utilizing Instagram to deconstruct this image. This study aims to analyze Sektimuda's digital Public Relations strategy in constructing the identity of young farmers using the R-A-C-E (Research, Action, Communication, Evaluation) model. Using a qualitative case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with social media managers and content observation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that Sektimuda implements an adaptive strategy where the Research and Action phases focus on mapping stigma to position Instagram as a narrative battlefield. In the Communication phase, rather than centralized aesthetics, Sektimuda employs a spirit of equality through communal visuals and ideological narratives regarding independence and systemic awareness, rather than just technical farming. The Evaluation phase confirms that vanity metrics (likes/views) are disregarded in favor of the primary KPI of real participation (class registrants), with audience feedback serving as a mechanism for content improvement. It is concluded that Sektimuda's digital PR strategy successfully reconstructs the farmer identity from physical laborers to politically conscious intellectual subjects. This implies that youth organizations can effectively build image and public participation by prioritizing authentic ideological messages and dialogic interaction over mere visual aesthetics.

Abstract

Background:The digital transformation of libraries is growing rapidly with a 215% increase in scholarly publications in the last decade. Global investment in library technology reached USD 5.7 billion (2023) and is projected to increase to USD 8.4 billion (2028). However, the digital divide between countries has a significant impact on library transformation, showing significant differences in the ratio of technology adoption between developed and developing countries. Objective:This study aims to develop a comprehensive global knowledge map of technology-based library transformation through bibliometric analysis, identifying publication trends, influential authors, and key topics in digital library research. Methodology:The study used bibliometric analysis of 1,319 documents from the Scopus database published between 2015-2025 from 755 sources with 3,998 authors. Data were extracted using Bibliometrix software in R, including author information, affiliation, year of publication, keywords, and citations. Analysis was performed with the Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny packages, including visualization of collaboration networks and keyword co-occurrence. The validity of the method was confirmed through comparison with similar bibliometric studies. Results:China, the United States, and India are the dominant contributors to scientific publications with Wuhan University as the most productive institution (27 articles). There was a significant increase in publications around 2019-2021, correlating with the COVID-19 pandemic. "Data mining" and "digital libraries" emerged as the most dominant concepts, followed by "machine learning" and "natural language processing". There was a significant level of international collaboration (19.86%) with an average of 3.79 authors per document. Conclusion:The analysis reveals a widening digital divide post-pandemic, with significant differences in library technology adoption between developed and developing countries. Data processing technologies, artificial intelligence, and advanced information analysis methods are key drivers of library transformation. The study emphasizes the importance of comprehensive mapping to understand the gaps in technology implementation across libraries and geographical regions.
