Abstract

This research uses quantitative research method with descriptive and associative research type using causal relation. Sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling technique. Technique taken from nonprobability sampling was purposive sampling technique and incidental sampling technique with number of sample counted 100 respondents. Data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing (t-test), obtained from PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk. press release has a significant influence on purchase decision of Sari Roti among students of School of Economics and Business Telkom University. This is proofed by the results t-count> t-table (7.438> 1.984). Then, based on the results determined, obtained press release PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk was able to explain consumer's purchase decision of 36.1%, while the rest equal to 63.9% by other factors not examined in this research such as brand image, and promotion in television media. The conclusion of this research is press release PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk and consumer purchase decision of Sari Roti have entered into good category. Then, the influence of PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk Press Release on consumer purchase decision of Sari Roti is already significantly.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the effects of intensity in accessing YouTube against the learning activities of students of Economic Business Faculty Telkom University. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how big the effects between the intensity of accessing YouTube against learning activities among students of economic Business Faculty Telkom University. These studies use quantitative methods with types of descriptive research-causality. Sampling done by the method of probability sampling which is proportionate stratified random sampling, with the total number of respondents are 100 people. The techniques to analyze data that used in this research is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the intensity of accessing YouTube has a fairly strong negative effects against learning activities that amount to 22.1%. This is evidenced from the value of the coefficient (r) of 0.470 belonging to the category of a fairly strong relationship tiers. While the rest as much as 77.9% is determined by other variables that are not the focus of this research, such as factors of psychology and family factors. Conclusion from this research indicates that the intensity of accessing YouTube student has done a fairly strong negative effects against the learning activities of students, whether at home or on campus. One example of negative effects is making the students hard to concentrate. This means that the higher of intensity of accessing YouTube that done by students, it has more negative effects to the learning activities of students of Econmic Business Faculty Telkom University.

Abstract

Seorang anggota keluarga yang menjadi family caregiver bagi anggota keluargan yang terdampak covid-19 memiliki tantangan ekonomi, waktu, hingga psikologis dapat merubah pola komunikasi keluarga mereka. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi Alfred Schuz dan mengintegrasikan konsep dan teori komunikasi keluarga. Data penelitian penelitian ini akan didapatkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi pustaka, dan tringulasi data sebagai usaha menvalidasi data yang diperolah. Informan pada penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive dengan menentukan 5 kritera yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengalaman komunikasi keluarga family caregiver dengan anggota keluarga lainnya berbeda dengan semustinya, hal tersebut terjadi karena bergesernya peran seorang anggota keluarga. Pengalaman yang di alami oleh family caregiver banyak terlihat merasa kerepotan, khawatir yang bukan berasal dari pasien covid-19

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study analyzes the motives & meanings, and symbolic interactions of the Hijrah Youth Shift movement in Bandung. The study used a study-oriented perspective of proselytizing psychology to explore the trend of hijrah and da'wah movements among urban youth. This study used a qualitative approach to obtain descriptive data about the research context. The results showed that the Hijrah motive occurred because; encouragement from past events; encouragement from friends; Encouragement affects others; and Drive for the future. While the meaning of hijrah for members; trying to improve, making life more careful; and creating new thoughts about religion and making fun of falling in love with Islam. Interaction driven by; First, the presence of the meaning of the language so that words do not go to waste. Second, invite the surrounding community to post complimentary messages on social media; Third, keep looking the same because you emigrate does not have to be seen from your physical appearance.Keywords: Hijrah Movement; new media; Shift Pemuda Hijrah.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis motif & makna, dan interaksi simbolik gerakan Shift Pemuda Hijrah di Kota Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan sudut pandang psikologi dakwah yang berorientasi pada kajian untuk menggali trend hijrah dan gerakan dakwah di kalangan anak muda perkotaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan data deskriptif mengenai konteks penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Motif hijrah terjadi karena; dorongan dari peristiwa di masa lalu;  dorongan dari teman; Dorongan mempengaruhi orang lain; dan Dorongan untuk masa depan. Sedangkan makna hijrah bagi anggota; berusaha memperbaiki diri; berusaha membuat hidup lebih berhati hati; dan berusaha membuat pemikiran baru mengenai agama dan membuat kesenangan karena merasakan jatuh cinta dengan agama Islam. Interaksi didorong oleh; Pertama, hadirnya makna bahasa agar tidak banyak perkataan mubazir. Kedua,  mengajak lingkungan sekitar untuk mengunggah pesan positif di media sosial; Ketiga, tetap berpenampilan sama karena berhijrah tidak harus terlihat dari penampilan fisik.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Digital Integrated Marketing Communications (DIMC) strategies and local cultural image promotion on tourism sustainability, with a focus on local community involvement as a moderating factor. The primary objective is to understand how effective digital marketing and cultural promotion contribute to sustainable tourism practices and how community engagement enhances these effects. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis. Data were collected from 200 respondents, including tourists and stakeholders at cultural tourism destinations, using a structured questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale to measure DIMC strategies, cultural image promotion, tourism sustainability, and community involvement. The study finds that both DIMC strategies and the promotion of local cultural image positively impact tourism sustainability. Furthermore, local community involvement significantly moderates these relationships, enhancing the effectiveness of marketing and cultural promotion efforts in supporting sustainable tourism. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of the interplay between digital marketing, cultural promotion, and sustainability by highlighting the crucial role of community involvement. Practically, it underscores the need for tourism managers to integrate local perspectives into their marketing strategies and cultural promotion efforts to achieve more sustainable outcomes. The study provides valuable insights for enhancing the effectiveness of tourism marketing and promoting cultural heritage while supporting sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Digistar Class is a free and flexible online class program organized by PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk through the Living in Telkom community, aiming to improve digital skills (hard skills & soft skills) for students and fresh graduates. This study analyzes Instagram social media management @livingintelkom in shaping public opinion towards the Digistar Class Program. Based on the Circular Model of SOME theory and the public opinion theory of Leonard W. Doob, this study identifies that @livingintelkom accounts successfully increase participation and positive sentiment through the strategy of "Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage." Proper social media management, including the management of comments and direct responses, as well as the use of relevant and engaging content, has proven to be effective in attracting subscribers and building positive public opinion. Active interaction and quick response to participant input are also key in maintaining a positive image of the program in the eyes of the public. The results of the study show that this strategy has succeeded in increasing the number of registrants and strengthening positive public opinion of the Digistar Class Program.

Abstract

In the news published by Republika.co.id, Kompas.com, and Kumparan.com, it was reported that Rohingya refugees who came to Aceh to get help and protection surprised the people of Aceh. Of course, the arrival of Rohingya refugees in Aceh raises various opinions from the people of Aceh itself. This research focuses on analysing the construction of reality from the news media using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis. This research aims to find out how Republika.co.id, Kompas.com, Kumparan.com media frame the reality related to the news of Rohingya refugees in Aceh. The methodology used for this research is by conducting a qualitative approach with Robert N. Entman's framing analysis model, by looking at the selection of issues and emphasis on aspects with Entman's four models, namely problem identification, diagnosis of the cause of the problem, moral judgement, and problem solving recommendations. The results show that Republika.co.id sees more through the Islamic view of the presence of Rohingya refugees based on religious principles. Kompas.com sees based on the view of Nationalism towards the condition of the Acehnese people from the arrival of Rohingya refugees in Aceh. Kumparan.com sees the issue as news that can increase the amount of income and readers, so each media has its own views on the issue. Researchers also present the ideology of each media so that it can influence the news text produced. This analysis focuses on the role of the media in presenting news in controversial issues so that it can affect news value

Abstract

Communication in the health industry can influence patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is an essential factor that can stimulate changes in healthcare quality through temporary patient-centred policies that communicate patient engagement in treatment decisions. However, patient satisfaction is challenging to define broadly, and satisfaction surveys do not often represent patient expectations. Numerous hospital customer satisfaction studies do not guarantee the outcomes of customer satisfaction questionnaires that deeply examine patients' perspectives on their intended goals or objectives. This study will examine how patient communication experiences, particularly for inpatients and hospital services, might shape expectations through data gathering via interviews and focus group discussions. This research utilizes communication experiences as the object of this research and the perspective of hospitalized patients or their families as the subject. Data was collected through interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) to acquire information directly from the experiences of patients or patient families in four public hospitals in West Java Province with levels B and A. This study employs a qualitative analysis method that integrates a phenomenological approach and theories, using the Press Geney Experiment Patient Experience Survey as an analysis tool. The study's findings demonstrate that providing patients with relevant information at the right moment can make them feel more at ease and optimistic about their treatment and build trust in healthcare facilities.
