The recreational function in libraries refers to the role that libraries play in providing recreational activities and resources for the community. Although libraries are traditionally associated with the storage and dissemination of knowledge, they also serve as important community centers that offer a range of recreational and entertainment services. The objectives of this study are to: (1) find out the types of information products that can be used to improve the recreational function of the library; (2) find out the user specifications of information products as an effort to improve the recreational function of the library; (3) find out the application areas of information products as an effort to improve the recreational function of the library. The research stages to be carried out are the preparation stage in the form of data collection through surveys and library data, the data processing stage, the data analysis stage, and the preparation of the final report. This research highlights the importance of diversifying library collections. A diverse collection can attract different types of patrons and better meet their recreational needs. This includes fiction, non-fiction books, multimedia, and digital resources. Additional services and facilities are needed. In addition to a diverse collection, research also shows that additional services and facilities, such as comfortable reading rooms, children's play areas, and recreational event programs, can enhance the appeal of libraries as recreational venues.

Perpustakaan berfungsi sebagai wahana pendidikan, penelitian, pelestarian, informasi, dan rekreasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kecerdaskan dan keberdayaan bangsa. Penerapan fungsi rekreasi di perpustakaan telah dikembangkan dengan adanya program edu-tourism. Edu-tourism merupakan penggabungan antara konsep wisata dengan pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi daya tarik perpustakaan untuk pengembangan program edu-tourism. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dan proses analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi daya tarik perpustakaan untuk pengembangan program edu-tourism di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung, antara lain: (1) Arsip sejarah kota Bandung; (2) Pameran tematik; (3) Koleksi perpustakaan; (4) Kegiatan Pendidikan; (5) Ruang baca dan studi. Perpustakaan Kota Bandung memiliki potensi daya tarik yang besar dalam mengembangkan edu-tourism, membawa manfaat pendidikan dan pengalaman wisata kepada masyarakat. Dengan koleksi arsip dan perpustakaan yang kaya, mencakup dokumen sejarah, artefak budaya, dan sumber daya lainnya, perpustakaan ini menawarkan peluang pembelajaran langsung yang mendalam dan otentik.

The school library is one of the places of learning in schools to assist students in finding and adding knowledge. With the advancement of information technology, school libraries have shifted from conventional libraries to digital libraries. Digital libraries have advantages over conventional libraries because websites can be accessed anywhere and no longer need to come to the library. Thus the current digital library is very much needed. The purpose of this research is to design a website-based digital library at SMAN 21 Bandung, this is because SMAN 21 Bandung has a conventional library. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method, while the data collection techniques are carried out by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies. The result of this research is to produce a web - based digital library design at SMAN 21 Bandung. This research produces a digital library design consisting of User Login Features, User Authority, New Member Input, Collection Input, Collection Borrowing, Collection Returns, Borrowing and Returning Reports, Forums. For future research, it is possible to apply digital attendance and labeling of collections using RFID so that it can facilitate daily operations in the library.

This study aims to examine the implementation and testing of a digital archiving system in Karyawangi Village, West Bandung Regency, and its impact on the village's economic transformation through improved administrative efficiency and transparency. Prior to the digital archiving system, archive management was conducted manually, often resulting in issues such as the loss of important documents, difficulty in access, and slow administrative processes. The implementation of the digital archiving system is expected to provide solutions to these problems by offering easier access, better security, and greater time efficiency. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to village residents involved in using the system, as well as documentation related to the implementation process. The study's findings indicate that the majority of respondents, 83%, stated that the digital archiving system facilitates access to documents. Additionally, 75% of respondents noted an increase in time efficiency in archive management, while 80% expressed satisfaction with the overall system. However, the study also identified challenges in the implementation, such as frequent technical disruptions, which could affect the overall user experience. Overall, the results of this study show that the digital archiving system positively contributes to archive management in Karyawangi Village and supports the village's economic transformation by enhancing administrative efficiency and transparency. However, further improvements are necessary to address existing technical obstacles to ensure that the benefits of this system can be fully optimized by all users.

Communication in the health industry can influence patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is an essential factor that can stimulate changes in healthcare quality through temporary patient-centred policies that communicate patient engagement in treatment decisions. However, patient satisfaction is challenging to define broadly, and satisfaction surveys do not often represent patient expectations. Numerous hospital customer satisfaction studies do not guarantee the outcomes of customer satisfaction questionnaires that deeply examine patients' perspectives on their intended goals or objectives. This study will examine how patient communication experiences, particularly for inpatients and hospital services, might shape expectations through data gathering via interviews and focus group discussions. This research utilizes communication experiences as the object of this research and the perspective of hospitalized patients or their families as the subject. Data was collected through interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) to acquire information directly from the experiences of patients or patient families in four public hospitals in West Java Province with levels B and A. This study employs a qualitative analysis method that integrates a phenomenological approach and theories, using the Press Geney Experiment Patient Experience Survey as an analysis tool. The study's findings demonstrate that providing patients with relevant information at the right moment can make them feel more at ease and optimistic about their treatment and build trust in healthcare facilities.

Kabupaten Garut menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam sektor pendidikan, termasuk ketimpangan akses, kualitas tenaga pengajar yang belum merata, dan tingginya angka putus sekolah. Program Pembentukan Personal Branding dalam Menghadapi Kesiapan Lingkungan Pendidikan yang Baru bagi peserta didik dirancang untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan beradaptasi, serta keterampilan komunikasi dan presentasi siswa-siswi SMKN 2 Garut. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan siswa dapat membangun citra diri yang positif dan siap menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan kesejahteraan di Garut. Maka dari itu Telkom University akan memberikan beberapa pelatihan mengenai personal branding yang akan membuat para siswa atau dapat beradaptasi dengan linkungan pendidikan yang baru. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi dalam membentuk generasi yang baik dan lebih berkualitas.

As time goes by, the policy for the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) has begun to loosen along with the start of face-to-face learning activities in schools. The transition from distance learning to face-to-face learning has brought significant changes to junior high school students in terms of how they access the information they need related to learning. This study tries to examine the pattern of student information seeking during the transition period. This research is qualitative research with observations and interviews with students of SMPN 1 Cibatu Kab. Garut. The research findings indicate that the information search pattern based on David Ellis' information search model, only 3 processes are passed by students namely starting, chaining, browsing. Changes in the habitual pattern of seeking information through internet-based search engines make students not carry out an in-depth search for information. The transition from distance learning to face-to-face learning implies that internet-based information sources are the main source for meeting information needs in the educational environment. Future research will focus on the effectiveness of using search engines as a means of student learning.Keywords: information literacy, information search patterns. face-to-face learningABSTRAKSeiring berjalannya waktu kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) yang mulai melonggar beriringan dengan kegiatan mulainya aktifitas pembelajaran tatap muka di sekolah. Transisi pola pembelajaran jarak jauh ke tatap muka telah memberikan perubahan yang signifikan pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama dari sisi cara mereka mengakses informasi yang mereka butuhkan terkait pemeblajaran. Penelitian ini mencoba mengkaji pola pencarian informasi siswa pada masa transisi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara kepada siswa SMPN 1 Cibatu Kab. Garut. Temuan penelitian menunukan bahwa pola pencarian informasi berdasarkan model pencarian informasi David Ellis, hanya 3 proses yang dilalui oleh siswa yakni starting, chaining, browsing. Perubahan pola kebiasaan mencari informasi melalui mesin perncari berbasis internet membuat siswa tidak melakukan pendalaman pencarian informasi. Transisi pola pembelajaran jarak jauh ke tatap muka memberikan implikasi sumber informasi berbasis jaringan internet menjadi sumber utama untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian selanjutnya akan berfokus pada efektifitas pemanfaatan mesin pencari sebagai sarana belajar siswa.

This study investigates the cross-cultural perceptions of Indonesian and Malaysian students regarding the virtual literacy tourism services offered by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. As part of ongoing digital transformation efforts in the literacy sector, these virtual tour services provide an alternative means of accessing information and promoting cultural heritage. The purpose of this research is to analyze perceptual differences between the two student groups using user experience theory, which encompasses cognitive, affective, and cultural dimensions. A quantitative comparative design was employed, involving a purposive sample of 100 participants, 50 students from Indonesia and 50 students from Malaysia. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed through descriptive statistics and independent sample t-tests. The findings reveal that, overall, there are no significant differences between the two groups across most indicators. However, a notable distinction appears in the affective dimension, specifically the sense of presence, which is higher among Malaysian respondents. These results indicate that user experience is shaped by cultural context and highlight the potential of virtual library tours to foster cross-cultural engagement and understanding.
