Abstract

Peran penting media massa dalam pengembangan bahasa Indonesia merupakan kepastian Berdasarkan peran tersebut, media perlu memperhatikan penggunaan bahasa dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Akan tetapi, saat ini masih ditemukan surat kabar yang melakukan kesalahan penulisan bahasa dari tingkat ejaan sampai pada tataran paragraf. Berdasarkan hal itu, tujuan penelitian adalah adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan Bahasa Berita Utama Harian Padang Ekspres edisi Juni sampai Agustus 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Analisis ini digunakan untuk menganalisis isi media, baik cetak maupun elektronik. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah berita utama pada surat kabar Harian Padang Ekspres edisi Juni sampai Agustus 2023. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kesalahan ejaan dan kata yang ditemui sebanyak 409 dari keseluruhan sampel terpilih. Selanjutnya, kesalahan bahasa jurnalisistik yang ditemukan adalah sebanyak 84 kesalahan. Berdasarkan hal itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih banyak ditemukan kesalahan berbahasa pada surat kabar dan untuk ke depannya diharapkan agar tidak ditemukan kesalahan berbahasa lagi.

Abstract

This study aims to measure how effective the website is as an interactive media in providing information to the people of Solok City. The focus of this research is to analyze and describe the level of effectiveness of website use by the public and find out the relationship between characteristics and the level of effectiveness of website users using DeLone & McLean theory (D&M IS Success Model). The methodology used in this study is an explanatory quantitative approach with a survey method. The research in collecting data is to use a closed questionnaire using Google From. In this study, there were 96 respondents who would later be analyzed with correlations with SPSS IBM SPSS Statistics 26. From the results of the spearman rank correlation test, a negative relationship was obtained with an age of (-0.104). From the results of the chi-square test, it was found that there was no significant relationship between gender and the effectiveness of website use in public services. From the correlation of education level with the effectiveness of website use by (0.037).

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the lack of knowledge and skills in accessing and utilizing digital technology has made MSME entrepreneurs in Kedungsegog Village struggle to compete in an increasingly competitive market. As a result, they often miss opportunities to optimize sales and grow their businesses. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enhance MSME entrepreneurs' understanding of digital technology utilization in marketing strategies and business operations. The activity was conducted through direct (offline) socialization, including material presentations and interactive discussions. The results show an increased understanding among MSME entrepreneurs regarding the importance of digital technology in supporting their businesses, particularly in marketing, operational efficiency, and information access. Additionally, MSME entrepreneurs have shown motivation to optimize customer service and expand their market reach to the regional level. To ensure the sustainability of this initiative's impact, follow-up mentoring programs are needed so that the adoption of digital technology can be consistently and optimally implemented in their business management.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digitalization technology or the 4.0 era has changed the landscape of political campaigns in Indonesia, one of which is the use of social media (TikTok) as the main means of building an image, increasing trust and efforts to win the hearts of voters in the 2024-2029 regent elections in Solok Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze persuasive communication techniques and analyze persuasive messages in influencing voter perceptions and preferences. This study uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method. The results of the study obtained the dominant persuasive communication techniques used by Jon Pandu in his political campaign in Solok Regency in building credibility, trust, and public support in influencing voters' hearts are integration techniques and reward techniques, these techniques are influenced by Jon Pandu's communication which emphasizes that he is part of the Solok Regency community to build his hometown better and provide a positive impact on those who choose him, so that these techniques can build a sense of trust, closeness, and solidarity. Jon Pandu's persuasive messages are strategically designed to form a positive image, build emotional closeness, and arouse the participation of the people of Solok Regency through an inclusive approach, with local nuances, and connected to national political power, so that it becomes the key to influencing voter perceptions and preferences ahead of the Pilkada.Keywords: Persuasive Communication, Persuasive Techniques, Political Communication, New Media

Abstract

Abstract: Digital media is now a strategic tool for government agencies in conveying messages and building relationships with the public. One of them is by using digital media (YouTube) as a means of information. This study aims to analyze the role of digital media Public Relations (PR) of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) in tax campaigns through the YouTube @DitjenPajakRI platform. This study uses a qualitative content analysis approach to campaign videos uploaded on the official DJP YouTube channel within a certain period of time. The results of the study show that PR DJP uses YouTube not only as an information medium, but also as an educational and persuasive tool in increasing public tax awareness. Campaign messages are packaged with an attractive visual style, a communicative narrative approach, and utilizing public figures to strengthen the impact of the message. In addition, interactions through comments and the number of views indicate quite high public participation. This study concludes that digital media, especially YouTube, has significant effectiveness in supporting PR DJP's communication strategy in socializing tax policies and obligations more widely and inclusively.Keywords: Digital Media, Public Relations, Tax Campaign, Directorate General of Taxes, Youtube.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara instansi pemerintah dalam memberikan pelayanan informasi kepada masyarakat. Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) Kabupaten Batang menggunakan akun Instagram resmi @Disdukcapilkabupatenbatang sebagai sarana penyebarluasan informasi terkait administrasi kependudukan. Tujuan penelitian ini 1). Sejauh mana tingkat efektivitas akun tersebut mampu menjangkau dan memberikan informasi yang jelas kepada masyarakat; 2). Menganalisis hubungan karakteristik pengguna atau masyarakat dalam berinteraksi dengan akun tersebut; dan 3). Bagaimana responsivitas admin dalam menanggapi pertanyaan atau keluhan yang diajukan pengguna. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method/campuran. Hasil yang diperoleh tingkat efektivitas penggunaan Instagram @dukcapilbatang sebagai media interaksi pelayanan informasi kependudukan di Kabupaten Batang tergolong efektif dengan rata-rata 56,7%. Hubungan efektivitas penggunaan Instagram @dukcapilbatang dengan usia menunjukkan korelasi sangat lemah dan positif, dengan jenis kelamin tidak berpengaruh, serta dengan pendidikan tidak bergantung pada tinggi atau rendahnya pendidikan responden. Responsif admin sudah baik, namun perlu peningkatan melalui prioritas interaksi, tim delegasi, fitur auto-reply, template jawaban, dan SOP waktu balas agar pelayanan lebih konsisten.

Abstract

Limited access and understanding of higher education information for high school students is a major obstacle in planning further study, especially in non-urban areas. This condition is also experienced by students of Wahid Hasim Tersono High School, Batang Regency, who still have limited knowledge regarding new student admissions, study program options, and higher education financing and scholarships. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing higher education information services through targeted and educational new student admissions socialization. The service method used was a participatory-educational approach with stages of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activity was carried out through interactive lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and educational consultation services. Success was measured using a Likert scale questionnaire, student participatory observation, and limited reflection with the school. The results of the activity showed an increase in student understanding and attitudes towards higher education. As many as 81% of students understood the new student admissions pathway, 78% showed increased motivation to continue their education to higher education, and 74% gained new understanding regarding financing and scholarships. This activity also encouraged changes in student mindsets and strengthened the school's role in supporting further education.

Abstract

Banyak siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam menentukan jurusan dan karier karena pola pikir tetap (fixed mindset) yang membatasi perkembangan mereka. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang mindset growth membuat siswa cenderung menghindari tantangan dan merasa ragu dalam mengambil keputusan akademik maupun profesional. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membangun pola pikir berkembang guna meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan kesiapan siswa dalam merancang masa depan yang lebih terarah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi praktik untuk membangun mindset growth. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertema Membangun Mindset Growth: Kunci Sukses Menentukan Jurusan dan Karier Masa Depan di SMAN 1 Batang telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peserta, baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya pola pikir berkembang (growth mindset) dalam menentukan jurusan dan karier masa depan. Untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dampak kegiatan ini, diperlukan program pendampingan lanjutan agar adopsi membangun mindset growth dan dapat diterapkan secara konsisten dan optimal minat belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih adanya berbagai kendala yang dialami pelaku UMKM dalam proses pengurusan izin melalui sistem Online Single Submission (OSS), seperti keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap prosedur digital dan kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi resmi pemerintah. Media sosial Instagram dipilih karena menjadi salah satu saluran komunikasi publik yang digunakan pemerintah untuk menyebarkan informasi dan merespons pertanyaan masyarakat secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pelayanan informasi publik dan tingkat responsivitas admin pada akun Instagram @OSSIndonesia dalam konteks pelayanan perizinan usaha bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap unggahan (feed), caption, komentar, dan respons admin pada akun Instagram @OSSIndonesia selama periode tertentu. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi pola komunikasi, bentuk penyampaian informasi, serta karakteristik respons admin terhadap komentar dan keluhan publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun @OSSIndonesia telah berfungsi sebagai saluran komunikasi publik digital yang cukup aktif dalam memberikan informasi seputar panduan perizinan, kebijakan baru, serta edukasi layanan OSS. Namun, tingkat responsivitas admin masih beragam di mana sebagian pertanyaan masyarakat belum mendapatkan tanggapan cepat atau mendalam, terutama terkait kendala teknis yang dihadapi UMKM. Pelayanan informasi yang disampaikan umumnya bersifat satu arah, dengan dominasi konten informatif dibandingkan interaktif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya peningkatan kualitas interaksi dua arah antara admin OSS dan pengguna agar pelayanan publik digital dapat berjalan lebih efektif, transparan, dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi komunikasi pelayanan publik berbasis media sosial, khususnya dalam memperkuat hubungan pemerintah dengan pelaku UMKM di era digital.
