Abstract

The research entitled "The Influence of TikTok Shop on Lifestyle and Consumer Culture among UIN Jakarta Journalism Students" aims to find out how influential TikTok Shop is as an e-commerce platform for UIN Jakarta students. And does their use of TikTok Shop influence their lifestyle and change them into being consumptive in shopping? This research uses qualitative methods, namely by conducting interviews with 30 UIN Jakarta students. Based on the results of the analysis, researchers found that there is an influence of TikTok Shop on their lifestyle needs and consumer culture. And the TikTok Shop algorithm which is quite sophisticated in recommending products means that students tend to be exposed to relevant items according to their preferences. With very diverse impacts starting from lifestyle, shopping preferences and financial management. It can be concluded that TikTok Shop is not just a shopping platform, but part of the influence of digital culture which actively shapes consumption patterns in the younger generation, especially students.

Abstract

The 2025 Regular Community Service Program (KKN) of UIN Jakarta in Sawangan Baru developed an informal school model based on educational games designed to enhance the creativity and self-confidence of children aged 6–14 years. This study also examines the extent to which this approach is able to stimulate creativity and build self-confidence in children aged 6–14 years through the interaction between the 4Ps theory of creativity and the concept of self-efficacy. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. This qualitative approach aims to describe systematically, factually, and accurately the facts and relationships between the phenomena studied. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the informal school based on educational games in Sawangan Baru has succeeded in becoming an alternative learning space that is more participatory, fun, and appropriate to the social conditions of urban communities. This program shows a strong link between creativity and children's self-confidence
