Abstract

Enhancing students soft skills is a crucial aspect of education, particularly in shaping individuals who are intellectually excellent and possess strong character. This article discusses the role of Tafsir Tarbawi in understanding relevant Qur'anic verses to support the development of soft skills as the focus of study based on Islamic spiritual and ethical values. This research employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach and thematic analysis (maudhui) of several Qur'anic verses (Q.S. Al-Ma’un 1-6, Al-Hujurat 12-13, Ali-Imran 133-134, and Al-Baqarah 31). The findings indicate that Tafsir Tarbawi provides holistic insights for the development of student character based on Qur'anic values. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of Tafsir Tarbawi with the development of students' soft skills, an area that has not been extensively explored in previous studies. This article offers a new perspective on the application of Islamic value.ABSTRAKPeningkatan soft skill siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam membentuk individu yang unggul secara intelektual dan berkarakter kuat. Artikel ini membahas peran tafsir tarbawi dalam memahami ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan untuk mendukung pengembangan soft skill sebagai fokus kajian berdasarkan nilai-nilai spiritual dan etika Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis tematik (maudhui) terhadap sejumlah ayat Al-Qur'an (Q.S. Al-Ma’un: 1-6, Al-Hujurat: 12-13, Ali-Imran: 133-134, dan Al-Baqarah: 31). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Tafsir Tarbawi memberikan wawasan holistik untuk pengembangan karakter siswa berbasis nilai Qur’ani. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi Tafsir Tarbawi dengan pengembangan soft skill siswa, yang belum banyak dieksplorasi dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Artikel ini menawarkan perspektif baru dalam penerapan pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' ability to solve problems in the Aqidah Akhlak learning at madrasah schools. The PBL approach is implemented through steps such as providing authentic problems, group discussions, independent research, collaboration, and solution presentations, which have proven to enhance students' analytical skills, critical thinking, as well as their sense of responsibility and active participation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with techniques such as in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation studies involving students and teachers during the learning process. The results show that the implementation of PBL significantly enhances students' problem-solving abilities and learning motivation, as well as enriches learning experiences relevant to the context of social and religious life. The main challenges faced include the significant time required for preparation and implementation, as well as the need for students to have a deep understanding of the stages of PBL. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that PBL is an effective learning innovation in enhancing students' competencies and supporting the development of character and 21st-century skills, making it worthy of broader development with support from all stakeholders.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak di sekolah madrasah. Pendekatan PBL diterapkan melalui langkah-langkah seperti pemberian masalah autentik, diskusi kelompok, penelitian mandiri, kolaborasi, dan presentasi solusi, yang terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis, berpikir kritis, serta sikap bertanggung jawab dan aktif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi kepada peserta didik dan guru selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa, serta memperkaya pengalaman belajar yang relevan dengan konteks kehidupan sosial dan keagamaan. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi waktu persiapan dan pelaksanaan yang cukup besar, serta perlunya pemahaman mendalam dari peserta didik terhadap tahapan-tahapan PBL. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa PBL merupakan inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik dan mendukung pengembangan karakter serta keahlian abad ke-21, sehingga layak dikembangkan secara lebih luas dengan dukungan dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

The tafsir maudu’i (thematic interpretation) represents a significant innovation in modern Qur’anic exegesis, emphasizing a thematic and comprehensive understanding of the Qur’an’s content. This study aims to examine the historical factors underlying the emergence of the tafsir maudu’i method, explain its urgency amid increasingly complex humanitarian issues, describe the scholars who played a key role in its development, analyze the fundamental differences between tafsir maudu’i and tafsir muqaran, and identify the reasons why tafsir maudu’i has gained prominence in the modern era. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through a literature-based analysis of both classical and contemporary sources. The findings indicate that tafsir maudu’i holds significant urgency in addressing complex social, theological, and humanitarian issues in the modern context. Its importance lies in its ability to integrate various verses related to a single theme, thereby providing a holistic and contextual understanding. In the modern context, tafsir maudu’i serves as an epistemological approach that emphasizes the relationship between the revealed text and social reality. Thus, the existence of tafsir maudu’i functions not only as a method of interpretation but also as a hermeneutical paradigm that bridges divine values and contemporary challenges.
