Abstract

Negara yang menjadi perhatian dunia dalam pengembangan senjata nuklir adalah Iran dan Korea Utara. Ambisi Iran dalam mengembangkan senjata nuklir telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran dunia, salah satunya adalah Amerika Serikat yang menganggap Iran mengganggu keseimbangan kekuatan di Timur Tengah. Pada tahun 2017 Korea Utara melakukan uji coba nuklir yang memicu kecaman internasional karena mengganggu perdamaian negara-negara sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan secara konkret kebijakan mengenai senjata nuklir di dunia dan di Indonesia. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya keterbukaan Iran dalam memberikan informasi terkait hal nuklir yang mengakibatkan Amerika Serikat menerbitkan Iran menutupi pengembangan bom nuklir. Oleh karena itu, Dewan Keamanan PBB menjatuhkan sanksi melalui berbagai resolusi. Pada era Joe Biden, sanksi ekonomi dijatuhkan untuk menghentikan Iran dari ambisi senjata nuklirnya. Masalah nuklir Korea Utara telah menjadi ancaman dunia, Amerika Serikat telah menjatuhkan sanksi ekonomi kepada Korea Utara dengan tujuan menghentikan program nuklir dan rudal balistiknya. Sukarno menentang adanya perlombaan manusia, khususnya senjata nuklir yang akan menimbulkan malapetaka bagi dunia. Oleh karena itu, pembangunan di Indonesia hanya untuk perdamaian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor pendukung penguatan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran seminar socrates. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 1) Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaran MAN Purbalingga, 2) Peserta didik kelas XI MAN Purbalingga. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, obervasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa panduan wawancara, lembar observasi dan checklist dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman & Saldana yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) membuat dan mendesain pembelajaran menjadi menarik, 2) keterbatasan pengetahuan peserta didik, 3) Standar kompetensi yang dasar pada peserta didik. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah guru Pendidikan Pancasila diharapkan dapat memberikan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan tidak mengacu kepada buku paket, memiliki kerjasama dan porsi yang sesuai kebutuhan. Sedangkan peserta didik lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: (1) the formation of students' social attitudes in Civics Education (PPKn) learning at MTs Al-Hidayah Sadeng, Semarang City; (2) the role of Civics Education teachers in forming students' social attitudes related to PPKn learning at MTs Al-Hidayah Sadeng, Semarang City; (3) the impact of forming students' social attitudes in PPKn learning at MTs Al-Hidayah Sadeng, Semarang City. The research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research targets include class IX A students, PPKn teachers, the school principal, and the student affairs vice-principal at the school. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity testing uses source and technique triangulation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verifying. The research results indicate that in the formation of students' social attitudes in PPKn learning. There are indicators, including honesty, discipline, tolerance, and politeness. Furthermore, the role of Civics Education teachers is crucial in forming social attitudes by guiding, fostering, and educating students. This will influence the impact of social attitude formation, including psychological and social impacts. The research suggestions are: (1) students should practice making social attitude indicator tables in their respective classes after implementing social attitude formation; (2) PPKn teachers should be more active in creating assessment sheets related to social attitude formation indicators in PPKn learning; (3) schools should support, facilitate, and establish regulations related to the formation of social attitudes for both students and PPKn teachers in the school environment.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia evolve along with the development of society, technology, and knowledge. However, learning practices are still largely dominated by conventional lecture-based models. This study analyze the strengthening of students’ critical thinking skills through the implementation of the Socratic seminar learning model. The research employed a case study with a qualitative approach. The subjects were Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers and eleventh-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation using instruments such as interview guidelines, observation sheets, and document checklists. Data analysis included condensation, display, and verification. The results show that the implementation of the Socratic seminar effectively strengthened students’ critical thinking skills through several aspects: (a) developing indicators and problems suited to students’ abilities, (b) encouraging students to answer teachers’ questions by expanding their responses based on the material studied, (c) utilizing printed and electronic media as learning resources, and (d) enabling students to explore material independently according to their own understanding. The conclusion emphasizes that the Socratic seminar model not only trains students to enhance critical thinking skills but also encourages teachers to act as innovators, role models, and evaluators in strengthening students’ critical thinking in PPKn learning. This research provides guidance for teachers, particularly PPKn teachers, in selecting learning models that align with student characteristics, thereby creating more effective, contextual, and critical thinking-oriented learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze various recommendations for Civic Education in terms of curriculumstructure, content, teaching, and learning models in Nigeria. The research uses a literature review method,which seeks to explore various theories related to the research topic as a reference for the findings. Theprocess includes data collection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The data were obtained bycollecting books and journals from national and international sources such as Google Scholar, Taylor andFrancis, and other reliable sources. The data analysis used critical appraisal, which involves analyzing theselected journals to identify differences, similarities, and limitations among them. The results of the studyare: 1) In terms of curriculum structure, Civic Education in Nigeria is organized by educational levels. Atthe primary and secondary levels, it focuses on social studies and health issue s, while at the university level,Civic Education is taught as a general course covering political science, government and democratic. 2)Teaching in Nigeria is conducted by teachers according to their subject and grade level. In addition, moreexperienced and older teachers tend to better support diversity in their classrooms. 3) The learning modelused in Civic Education in Nigeria applies a holistic approach.Keywords: Nigeria, Learning Model, Civic Education, Teaching, Curriculum Structure

Abstract

Berbagai problematika yang ada pada berbagai negara seperti di Indonesia terjadi konflik Sampit. Kasus rasisme di Amerika serikat. Adanya angka pembunuhan tertinggi tahun 2023 di Kosta Rika, Adanya warga Finlandia bergabung dengan ISIS. Masalah imigrasi di Australia. Selain itu terdapat masalah perbedaan sudut pandang warga negara di Malawi terkait pengiriman tenaga kerja ke Israel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan data bahwa pada bangsa Indonesia dan  negara Inggris tujuan utama pendidikan kewarganegaraan yaitu untuk menjadikan warga negara yang baik, pada negara Kosta Rika pendidikan kewarganegaraannya mengajarkan penghormatan terhadap hak asasi manusia, pada negara Republik Irlandia pendidikan agama dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan menyatu meresapi setiap pengajaran, pada negara Australia pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai alat mengembangkan pengetahuan siswa, pada negara Malawi  pendidikan kewarganegaraan memegang peran dalam mempersatukan bangsa.   Kata Kunci: Perbandingan, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Indonesia
