Abstract

The feasibility study of a textbook is highly important as it relates to the content it delivers. Developing an Arabic language textbook must take into account its foundational principles and pedagogical bases to ensure that the resulting material aligns with the needs of the learners. Specifically, the focus lies on whether the textbook meets the feasibility standards based on expert theories and how the content is structured and delivered through the concepts of selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition. Additionally, it is essential to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the Qory ‘Aroby textbook. This study is a qualitative research using the literature review method. The results show that the Arabic language textbook Qory ‘Aroby, used in the Salafiyah Class II at the Islamic Centre Bin Baz, aligns well with Mackey's theoretical framework, fulfilling the stages of selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition. However, in terms of presentation, some adjustments are still needed, such as the completeness of punctuation marks, the inclusion of a syllabus appendix, and the clarity of material delivery, which still requires intensive teacher assistance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is threefold: first, to create a high-quality podcast as a learning tool for students; second, to validate podcasts with experts in their fields; and third, to assess how well the podcast works with students in grade twelve at Madrasah Aliyah PPMI Assalaam. Students from experimental class XII (n=35) participated in this study. The Classroom Action Study method, created by Kemmis and Mc Taggart, was used in this research and development. The procedure is carried out in the following order: (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) monitoring, and (4) analysis. Observation, interviews, testing, and documentation are the methods used to collect information for efficacy tests. Students can be motivated, their attention captured, their knowledge deepened, their learning outcomes improved, and their learning goals met with the help of high-quality podcast material. Student performance in the pre-cycle, the results of the presentation of the first cycle and the next stage of activities from the second cycle are indications of program efficacy. The findings of the study suggest that high school students can benefit from using audio podcasts as a learning tool. The feasibility test of the voice podcast learning media, which includes master validation in operational field experiments, yielded "Good" results. The use of audio podcasts as a teaching tool significantly improves students' presentation completion scores compared to the use of traditional teaching methods.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how problem-based learning influences students' critical reasoning abilities in PAI subjects at SMAN 5 South Tangerang. This research focused on class X students at SMAN 5 South Tangerang. The focus of this research is faith in angels using descriptive questions on critical thinking skills tests used in data collection procedures. Researchers conduct quantitative research using an experimental approach. The research used a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples used were 30 control group students (class X1) and 30 experimental group students (class X2). While analyzing the data, t test was used. The experimental class outperformed the control group in every category and in critical reasoning. The data is normally distributed and H0 is accepted with the Sig Kolmogorov-Smirnova test result for the data class which is 0.200. In the control class the proportion was 75.70%, but in the experimental class it was 85.50%. The critical reasoning skills of PAI subjects at SMAN 5 South Tangerang are influenced by the Problem Based Learning learning paradigm. Data analysis using the t test obtained a t-test value (Sig.) 0.000.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the different types of complaints, the components that cause complaints, and the methods used to handle complaints. The Bin Baz Son Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta is the place where this investigation was carried out. Qualitative descriptive methods are used to collect data through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study showed that there were nine types of complaints that emerged related to problems: cleanliness, safety, food quality, health, complaint services, intracurricular activities, additional needs, facilities and infrastructure, and laundry. The responsibility of the mudir, the head of the pesantren division, the head of caregiving, and the caregiver to handle complaints. Management functions such as planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising are used in the management of complaints that arise. This study found that, even though there was no Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) officially issued by the head of the boarding school, the handling of complaints from the guardians of students and students at the Bin Baz Putra Center of the Islamic Boarding School went well. This is shown by the lack of guardians of students who attract their children to be transferred to other Islamic boarding schools and the number of students who continue to increase every year.
