Abstract

The research background outlines that MTsN 4 Pasaman Barat has adopted Moral Creed Learning to build student character. However, it faces challenges due to students' diverse characters, necessitating active involvement from moral creed teachers and the school environment to shape religious character collectively. The research aims to assess the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning in this context and identify factors that facilitate or hinder it. This study employs qualitative descriptive field research. Key informants include the Aqidah Akhlak teacher of class VII.5, supported by students, homeroom teachers, and the school principal. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation, analyzed via data reduction, display, and verification methods. Findings reveal that the implementation includes preparatory steps like open modules, appropriate learning materials, and teacher mastery. The learning process encompasses initial, core, and closing activities, beginning with greetings and communal prayers to foster religious character. Core activities involve engaging learning media aligned with the curriculum, concluding again with communal prayers. Supporting factors include competent teachers, an effective school environment, and adequate facilities. Conversely, constraints include limited time for Moral Creed Learning and student diversity. In summary, the research highlights the structured implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning to nurture students' religious character amidst challenges and supportive elements at MTsN 4 Pasaman Barat.

Abstract

This research is titled “The Relationship Between Korean  and Student Character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh,” written by Asqia Rahadatul ‘Aisyi, Student ID 2120163, Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. 2024. One of the foreign cultures influencing student character is pop culture, which comprises cultural elements that gain widespread popularity among the public. This includes music, films, fashion, and other trends that are generally accepted and consumed by many people. Pop culture often reflects mass tastes and preferences and can change over time. Pop culture forms a vortex and current with values that influence society in various ways. This study aims to examine the Relationship Between Korean Pop Culture and Student Character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. The population in this study consists of students from class VIII-2 of SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. This is a quantitative study using purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 32 individuals. The primary data source is derived from questionnaires distributed to the students. Data analysis uses simple regression. Student character is the dependent variable, and Korean pop culture is the independent variable. The results of this study show that: (1) there is a relationship between Korean pop culture and student character, where many students imitate Korean clothing, hairstyles, and language. (2) Korean pop culture has a significant and positive influence on student character, with t_calculated > t_table, namely (3.308 > 2.042) (sig 0.002 < 0.05), thus the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, the variable of student character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh is related to Korean pop culture (K-pop). This means that the greater the affinity towards Korean pop culture (K-pop), the more it changes a student's character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine 1) the dynamics of character education in Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 02 Sungai Pua, Agam Regency. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for character education in learning Islamic religious education in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pua, Agam Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative field research. The key informants in this research were PAI teachers, while the supporting informants were the school principal, class teacher and students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pua. The results of the research show that a) The dynamics of character education in Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pua, namely integrated character education through learning, has been carried out well, but there are still some students who are less prepared for the learning process and are not active in the process. integrated character education through school management has been well planned in its planning, but when implemented in schools, it still faces obstacles such as limited educational staff and limited time and integrated character education through student activities has been implemented effectively, although there are still some students who lack have awareness in participating in these activities. b) Supporting factors for implementing character education include the presence of direction from the teacher, the existence of facilities and infrastructure, providing opportunities for students to practice cults every Friday, midday prayers in congregation, getting used to giving alms, giving time to learn tahfiz, getting used to speaking politely, support from parents and strict rules from the school. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of time allocation, the outside environment where they play, cellphones which can have a bad impact and there are still students who are still lazy.

Abstract

This research is based on the background of the conditions at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek in class X students, namely the lack of the use of PAI learning models and methods carried out by educators is still less varied. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of PAI learning outcomes using the Cooperative Group Investigation model with Cooperative Two Stay Two Stray on Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. The research used in this study is experimental research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all X grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek which amounted to 278 students. The samples in this study were Fashion 1 class students with 20 students and Fashion 1 with 20 students. The data in this study were collected through tests and analyzed by prerequisite tests and independent sample t tests. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the results show that there is a comparison of students’ PAI learning outcomes between using the GI and TSTS models as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t test, namely the sig value of 0.001 <0.05 and the value of t count> t table, namely 3.568> 2.023. So it can be interpreted that there is a comparison of students' PAI learning outcomes between using the CGI and CTSTS learning models, getting the result that the CTSTS learning model is superior to the CGI learning model so that there is a significant comparison in the learning model that researchers conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek.
