Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ilmiah ini adalah untuk mendapatkan deskripsi tentang menganalisis surat menyurat melalui aplikasi sidoel. Penelitian ini memakai teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini termasuk pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa surat menyurat melalui aplikasi sidoel berdampak besar pada efektivitas dan produktivitas dalam surat menyurat. Sistem surat menyurat yang baik akan menghasilkan yang terbaik pula. Sehingga memberikan kemudahan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan dan mencapai tujuan perusahaan

Abstract

Numerical literacy is a fundamental skill that plays a crucial role in the learning process, particularly in the field of science, especially physics. However, the reality is that many freshmen struggle with numerical literacy. This significantly impacts their foundational mathematical skills, which can hinder the academic learning process. This community service activity aims to enhance the numerical literacy of freshmen in the Physics Department at the University of Lampung by utilizing interactive visual modules. The activity was conducted over two sessions in January 2025, involving 28 new students. The students were divided into heterogeneous groups to support collaborative learning. Pre-test and post-test assessments were conducted to measure the effectiveness of the modules. The results showed an average score improvement from 36.25% to 56.6%. Addionally, the satisfaction survey results showed positive responses regarding the module’s appearance, clarity and benefits. Based on this activity, it was concluded that collaborative learning supported by interactive visual media can enhance students numerical literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to characterize the performance of a corona plasma ozone generator, measure the concentration of ozone produced, and analyze and compare the size of ozone microbubbles from two diffusers (C50 and C80) to evaluate the efficiency of ozone mass transfer. The method used was experimental with equipment including a VOSOCO ozone generator, Ozone Monitor, dimmer, high voltage probe, Kyoritsu ampere clamp, SANWA multimeter, flowmeter, aquarium, Apexel 12.5x macro lens, C50 and C80 diffusers, and an iPhone 11, with Python-based microbubble size analysis software for digital image processing. The results showed that the ozone generator operated at 1200 V with a linear relationship between voltage, current, and power, where the highest ozone concentration was achieved at a flow rate of 0.8 l/min. The C80 diffuser produced smaller and more homogeneous bubbles (average 3.37 µm) compared to the C50 (4.09 µm), increasing the specific surface area by 21.4% for better mass transfer efficiency. The innovation of this research lies in the development of a Python-based analysis system with an effective and affordable digital image processing approach to characterize ozone microbubble size, providing an accurate alternative for analyzing critical parameters for optimizing microbubble-based ozonation systems.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of satellite reanalysis data from NASA POWER and Copernicus ERA5. BMKG data was used as a reference to compare the accuracy of satellite reanalysis data. Data was specifically collected from Lampung Province for the years 2022 to 2024. The data compared includes temperature, humidity, wind speed, and rainfall. The temperature data from ERA5 provided consistent and accurate results with a MAE of 1.82 and an r of 0.59. POWER showed commendable performance in capturing relative humidity with a MAE of 5.05% and an r of 0.33. For the wind speed variable, both models showed underestimation for Copernicus and overestimation for NASA POWER. For rainfall (RR), both models failed to predict extreme weather. NASA POWER showed an MAE of 8.59 mm/day and Copernicus showed a value of 7.68 mm/day for the rainfall variable. Future research can focus on bias correction results and machine learning to overcome the challenges faced by satellite data in predicting rainfall.

Abstract

Saat ini pewarna metanil yellow banyak disalahgunakan dalam pembuatan makanan dan minuman. Metanil yellow banyak ditemukan pada jajanan seperti kerupuk, terasi, kembang gula, sirup, biskuit, sosis, makaroni goreng, minuman ringan, cendol, manisan, jipang dan ikan asap. Metanil yellow akan menyebabkan iritasi saluran cerna, perubahan histopatologi lambung, usus, hati, dan ginjal serta neurotoksisitas. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan sikap pedagang jajanan sekolah dasar menyebabkan masih tingginya penggunaan metanil yellow. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pedagang jajanan yang memakai metanil yellow akan dilakukan wawancara mendalam. Hasil wawancara diketik dan akan disortir selanjutnya akan dilakukan coding sehingga dapat menentukan tema. Berdasarkan data kualitatif didapatkan alasan ekonomi, pengalaman dari pedagang sebelumnya, akses mendapatkan perwarna yang mudah dan kurangnya pengawasan Dinas Perdagangan, Dinas Kesehatan dan BPOM merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi pedagang dalam penggunaan Metanil Yellow. Kata kunci:  metanil yellow, pedagang jajanan, pengetahuan, sikap
