Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Port Services, Loading and Unloading Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment and Natural Factors on Idle Time at the Koja Container Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. The population in this study were operational employees and ship crew from the deck department division. The sample used in this research was 80 respondents. And using a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique, then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. Based on the research results and data analysis, the regression equation was produced: Y= -1.176+ 0.334X1+ 0.181X2 + 0.318X3 + 0.302X4+ . From the equation it is known that the dominant variable influencing Idle Time is the Port Services variable with a regression coefficient of 0.334. The R2 (R square) test obtained a result of (67%), which means that Idle Time at the Koja Container Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, is influenced by the variables Port Service, Loading and Unloading Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment and Natural Factors, namely 67%. The conclusion is that the independent variables (port services, loading and unloading performance, loading and unloading equipment, and natural factors) have a negative and significant effect on the dependent variable Idle Time. This is because the results of the multiple linear regression equation show that t count > t table.

Abstract

Ship waiting time is one issue that is always getting serious attention in every country. Marine transportation became the main made of transportation in trade. Nearly 90% of foreign trade is done by sea. Freight carried by sea to be very efficient due to large carring capacity and this the role of the port as a place where ships can carry out loading and unloading of goods becomes an important means of supporting adequate facilities and infrastructure. If the performance of the port is not optimal, it will have a direct impact on the service so that it will cause new problems, namely the ship’s waiting time gets higher, so that it willlead to high costs, which have a direct impact on the price of goods on the market. This research has objective to know analysis the influence of factor ship scheduling, pilotage, and loading and unloading productivity to the waiting time. This research was conducted at the Port of Sei Kolak Kijang as a sample. The data collection done was through a method of observation, the literature study, interview, documentatuion and the questionnaires. Techique the analysis used is linear regression multiple with program assitance SPSS V.20. Based on the results of research and analysis produced equation: Y = 15.326 - 0,220 X1 - 0,178 X2 – 0,308 X3 + µ. Where the decision variable of waiting time (Y), ship scheduling (X1), pilotage (X2), loading and unloading productivity (X3) tested using t test show that the three independent variables significantly influence passenger decision as dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square number of 0,665 indicates that 66,5 percent of waiting time variables can be explained through the three independent variables in the regression equation. While the remaining 33,5 percent is explained by other variables outside the three variables used in this study.

Abstract

The maritime logistics sector is undergoing a profound transformation driven by the convergence of automation, digitalization, and sustainability imperatives. This paper explores the emerging paradigm of autonomous maritime logistics within a sustainable digital framework, addressing both technological and regulatory dimensions. Using a multidisciplinary lens combining systems theory, environmental economics, and maritime informatics, this study synthesizes recent empirical findings and proposes a conceptual model integrating autonomous technologies with environmental and operational performance indicators. The novelty of this research lies in its articulation of a sustainable-autonomous symbiosis as the future backbone of maritime logistics infrastructure. The study also offers policy and managerial recommendations for fostering resilient and intelligent maritime supply chains.

Abstract

The accelerating demands for environmental accountability, operational transparency, and resource efficiency have placed maritime ports at the center of a critical transition. Traditionally governed by linear logistics and fragmented governance structures, port ecosystems face increasing pressure to align with global sustainability targets such as the European Green Deal and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This paper introduces the Blockchain-enabled Circular Port Management (BCPM) framework—a novel, systems-based approach to digitally transform maritime port operations through blockchain technology. By embedding circular economy principles within blockchain-enabled data architectures, BCPM fosters transparency, trust, and lifecycle accountability across diverse port stakeholders. Drawing on a mixed-methods research design that includes case analysis, stakeholder interviews, and system modeling, the study demonstrates the empirical viability of the BCPM framework in enhancing material traceability, reducing transactional friction, and optimizing port circularity metrics. The findings offer both theoretical advancement and actionable guidance for port authorities, regulators, and supply chain actors seeking to operationalize sustainability through digital innovation. The paper concludes with a roadmap for implementation and identifies key areas for future research, including governance interoperability, real-time monitoring, and incentive alignment within port-centric blockchain ecosystems.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the world’s largest archipelagic state, is facing increasing pressure to modernize and decarbonize its maritime logistics and port operations. With the exponential advancement in automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainable business frameworks, the maritime sector in Indonesia stands at a critical juncture. This paper explores the potential integration of autonomous technologies in maritime business and port management, with a focus on aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and blue economy principles. It critically analyses current regulatory, infrastructural, and operational limitations while proposing a framework for autonomous sustainable maritime business models. Empirical observations and recent policy developments are examined to highlight gaps and opportunities. This study contributes novel insights by combining technological, regulatory, and sustainability dimensions into a holistic port and maritime management strategy suitable for the Indonesian context.

Abstract

Penggunaan sabun berbahan dasar kimia dalam kegiatan perawatan kebersihan kapal, dapat menimbulkandampak buruk terhadap lingkungan, walaupun saat ini sudah banyak digunakan Sabun yang memilikibahan kimia yang rendah kadarnya, namun hal tersebut tetap saja berdampak pada lingkungan sekitar.Untuk mengendalikan dampak pencemaran lingkungan, maka di dibutuhkan produk sabun pembersihperawatan kapal dengan bahan yang ramah linkungan. Bahan-bahan yang ramah lingkungan yangdimaksud adalah bahan alami yang ramah lingkungan. Berdasarkan penelitian pendahuluan, bahan dasaralami yang digunakan jeruk lemon dapat membersihkan dengan aman tanpa mencemari lingkungan.Dimana buah jeruk yang dimaksud adalah buah jeruk yang dalam kondisi tidak layak konsumsi,dimanfaatkan untuk menjadi bahan dasar untuk membuat sabun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahmengolah buah jeruk yang sudah tidak layak konsumsi untuk mengendalikan dampak limbah sabun yangsangat berbahaya karena mengandung bahan kimia yang mematikan kehidupan di lingkungan air laut.Objek riset dalam kegiatan penelitian ini adalah Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang. Dimana sampel airlaut yang akan di teliti berasal dari pelabuhan Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang. Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis data sekunder dan data primer Sedangkanmetode pengambilan data dengan metode Wawancara, Observasi, dan Studi literature. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan sampel air laut yang berasal dari pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang sangat tercemar olehlimbah sabun dengan hasil diluar ambang batas baku mutu yang disyaratkan. Dan hal tersebutmembutuhkan penelitian lanjutan untuk menghasilkan sabun ramah lingkungan yang dapat menanganilimbah sabun deterjen air laut.

Abstract

Peran utama Designated Person Ashore adalah bertanggung jawab atas manajemen keselamatan kapal, dan mengkoordinasikan kajian dan kegiatan verifikasi sistem manajemen keselamatan, baik di darat maupun di laut, dan melaporkan secara formal pada proses kajian ulang manajemen mengenai kinerja sistem. Designated Person Ashore memiliki pertanggungjawaban dalam melaksanakan pengawasan seluruh kegiatan operasional kapal serta berperan serta dalam upaya pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan laut dari kapal selain itu harus mampu menjalin komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien antara pemimpin tertinggi di perusahaan dengan awak kapal dalam seluruh kegiatan operasional kapal. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penulisan jurnal ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai bagaimana Designated Person Ashore itu sendiri, selain memberikan tambahan pengetahuan tentang peranan dan tanggungjawab seorang Designated Person Ashore terhadap Perusahaan pelayaran dan kapal dalam kaitannya dengan faktor keselamatan. Peranan Designated Person Ashore ini sangat besar dalam melaksanakan pengawasan seluruh kegiatan operasional kapal dan pencegahan pencemaran dari kapal selain sebagai   penghubung (Representatif) antara pimpinan tertinggi di perusahaan dengan awak kapal dalam segala kegiatan operasional kapal.
