Abstract

Improving the quality of education is inseparable from the support and cooperation of madrasahs with all elements of stakeholders, including the madrasah committee. This research intends to examine the Madrasah Committee’s role in improving the quality of Islamic Education. Researchers used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data collection focused on the results of scientific research on the role of madrasah committees in improving the quality of education published from 2010-2022. Three Research Questions were determined in this study with the final results: (RQ 1) the low quality of education, the lack of infrastructure, and the low quality of human resources in the management of madrasas are the underlying reasons for optimizing the role of the madrasah committee. (RQ 2) the role of the madrasah committee is still not optimal. This is caused by the lack of awareness of the principal and stakeholders of the importance of committees, so they are not empowered. (RQ 3) the madrasa committee plays a role in providing consideration, support, supervision, and mediator between madrasas and the community in a joint effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

In running an organization, conflicts are always present and cannot be avoided by every member of the organization. Usually conflict is naturally present in any cooperative relationship between individuals and groups. Conflict will be positive if it can be managed properly through conflict management built by a leader in his or her own right. The principal becomes a leader in running the organization of the school's educational institution. The role of the principal of MI Nahdlatul Ulama II is certainly required to be able to manage the conflicts that occur in MI Nahdlatul Ulama II. This study aims to find out how the strategy or type of handling carried out by the principal in conflict management as an effort to realize teamwork performance. The method used in this research is qualitative research and the type of research, which includes field research using phenomenological design. The results of this study show that principals manage conflicts with strategies of collaboration, accommodation, and compromise. Through these three ways of handling conflicts, the principal is proven to prevent, avoid, and be able to minimize the impact of conflict in the MI Nahdlatul Ulama II Pontianak school environment, as well as the realization of teamwork performance where the principal and all teachers can contribute according to their capacity and ability so that the team can achieve the best results.

Abstract

This study aimed to collaborate the role of parents in supporting the mental health of children who experience bullying. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, based on data collection techniques, obtained from the results of interviews, observations, and literature studies as theories and supporting data. Data were analyzed systematically by steps such as searching, organizing, reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions, and verifying data obtained through observation, interviews, and data collection in the field. According to research findings, the forms of bullying mostly occurred were verbal (hurtful words) and physical treatments, both of which can degrade a child. The impact of bullying on victims included a decrease in children's self-confidence and children feeling less valuable to themselves. They also experienced feelings of resentment, closure, sadness, pressure from the surrounding environment, depression, anger, and discomfort, which causes them to doubt the presence of those around them. The role of parents is very important in fortifying the mental health of these children. Parents need to constantly approach their children, provide support, advice and help them develop strong mental resilience. In addition, parents must help children in giving a healthy perspective and children can accept well, one of the efforts of parents is to teach an attitude of never giving up, especially in pursuing higher education.
