Abstract

Premature babies have a high risk of experiencing growth retardation due to the inability of their organs to function optimally, including in absorbing nutrients. The early period of life is a critical period that requires proper nutritional management to support optimal growth and development. This study aims to provide recommendations for optimal steps for nutritional management in premature babies so that growth retardation can be avoided. The results showed that the basic principles of preterm infant nutrition management involve strategic steps to optimally meet nutritional needs. The first step is exclusive breastfeeding, which is the best source of nutrition. If breast milk is insufficient, specialized formula milk is an important alternative. Other nutritional management includes enteral and parenteral nutrition, tailored to the infant's condition. Monitoring growth and development, food tolerance and body composition are key elements to ensure the success of the intervention. Collaboration between the healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, nutritionists and parents, is essential in this process. With a careful approach and monitoring, nutritional management can address the challenges of premature infants, providing a better chance of achieving optimal health and development in the future.

Abstract

Global geopolitical fragmentation has triggered significant changes in the structure of international supply chains. The COVID-19 pandemic, trade wars, and tensions between economic blocs have exposed the vulnerability of single sourcing and highly concentrated supply chain models. This condition requires companies to review their business strategies to be more adaptive, resilient, and sustainable. This study aims to map geopolitical risks and supplier concentrations, evaluate the impact of friend-shoring and near-shoring strategies on costs and resilience, and test the effectiveness of site portfolio designs and supplier contracts in improving supply chain resilience with cost efficiency. The research method uses a qualitative approach with comparative case studies combined with descriptive quantitative analysis. Data was collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews with supply chain managers, analysis of company documents, as well as SEM-PLS modeling to test the relationship between restructuring strategies, geopolitical risk, and company performance. The results show that dual/triple sourcing and hybrid sourcing strategies are more effective in increasing resilience with relatively controlled cost increases. The implementation of digital technologies such as ERP, predictive analytics, and digital twins has been proven to strengthen scenario planning capabilities and reduce distribution delays. The findings also confirm the trade-off between cost, resilience, and sustainability, where companies that are able to balance these three aspects gain a long-term competitive advantage. The implications of this study confirm the need for a geo-risk-adjusted total cost framework as the basis for the formulation of a global supply chain restructuring strategy. Companies are encouraged to adopt a digital and sustainability-oriented approach to be better prepared for geopolitical uncertainty.

Abstract

The phenomenon of waving the Jolly Roger flag from the anime One Piece during non-violent protests in Indonesia marks a crossroads between global popular culture and domestic political expression. This symbol is not only understood as a form of criticism of the government, but also as an expression of love for the homeland that chooses a symbolic path over physical confrontation, quickly spreading through social media and international coverage. This study aims to map the socio-political meaning of the One Piece flag in Indonesian protests, assess the relationship between pop culture symbols, authorities' responses, and public perceptions of the legitimacy of non-violent protests, and determine the effectiveness of political communication policies in the digital era. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, including semiotic analysis, critical discourse analysis, in-depth interviews, and digital netnography of social media content and international news. The results show that the One Piece flag functions as an alternative political communication medium rich in connotative meaning, sparking solidarity among the younger generation, and creating a collective imagination about the struggle against injustice. Digital virality through hashtags and political memes strengthens the resonance of this symbol, while opening up a space for transnational solidarity. Popular cultural symbols have proven to be an effective strategy for nonviolent political participation, while also challenging the state to be more inclusive in responding to the creative political practices of the younger generation. These findings contribute to the literature on pop culture politics, nonviolent political communication, and balanced digital democracy policies.
