Abstract

Integrasi filsafat dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam tradisi keislaman telah menjadi topik penting, terutama di era digital yang penuh dengan tantangan dan peluang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana filsafat Islam dapat memperkaya pemahaman dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di tengah kemajuan teknologi informasi. Dalam konteks ini, filsafat berfungsi sebagai landasan etika dan epistemologis yang membantu mengarahkan penggunaan ilmu pengetahuan untuk kebaikan umat manusia. Melalui pendekatan analitis, penelitian ini mengkaji pemikiran para filsuf Islam klasik, seperti Al-Farabi dan Ibn Rushd, serta kontribusi mereka terhadap integrasi antara ilmu agama dan ilmu dunia. Di era digital, fenomena seperti big data, kecerdasan buatan, dan media sosial menciptakan kebutuhan untuk mempertimbangkan dampak etis dan moral dari kemajuan tersebut. Filsafat Islam menawarkan perspektif yang relevan dalam menjawab isu-isu ini, mendukung dialog antara tradisi keilmuan dan kebutuhan kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini tidak hanya memperkuat fondasi ilmiah, tetapi juga memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritual dan sosial dalam masyarakat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara filsafat dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih bijaksana dan beradab di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman dan penerapan aqidah dalam komunitas Muslim di Sumatera Barat. Dengan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif di beberapa masjid dan lembaga keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas anggota komunitas memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang aqidah Islam, namun terdapat variasi dalam penerapan ajaran-ajarannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor-faktor seperti pendidikan agama, tradisi lokal, dan pengaruh media sosial turut mempengaruhi pemahaman dan praktik aqidah. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan agama di daerah tersebut dan memperkuat integritas komunitas Muslim dalam menjalankan ajaran agama.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between family environment and student achievement in secondary schools. Family environment, which includes emotional support, communication, and parental involvement in education, is believed to have a significant influence on students' academic development. The method used in this study was a survey with a sample of 200 students from various socio-economic backgrounds. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured aspects of the family environment and student achievement as measured by report card scores. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between family environment and student achievement. Students who come from a supportive family environment, with good communication and high parental involvement, tend to have better learning achievement compared to students who come from a less supportive family environment. This finding indicates the importance of the role of the family in the educational process and encourages parents to be actively involved in their children's education. This study concludes that a positive family environment can contribute significantly to student achievement, so it is expected to be a consideration for educators and policy makers in designing interventions that involve parents in children's education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan karakteristik organisasi, pengaruh sosial, serta implementasi program-program dakwah Muhammadiyah di dua wilayah berbeda, yaitu Jawa dan Sumatera Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis komparatif, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan pengurus dan anggota Muhammadiyah di kedua wilayah, serta analisis dokumen organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Muhammadiyah di Jawa dan Sumatera Barat memiliki visi dan misi yang sama, terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam pendekatan dakwah, respon terhadap isu sosial, serta adaptasi budaya lokal. Di Jawa, Muhammadiyah cenderung lebih terintegrasi dengan arus modernisasi, sementara di Sumatera Barat, pendekatan yang lebih kontekstual dan tradisional masih sangat kuat. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang dinamika organisasi Muhammadiyah yang beragam serta pentingnya mempertimbangkan konteks lokal dalam pelaksanaan program dakwah.

Abstract

Objective: This article aims to analyze the dimensions of multicultural education and character education as well as the integrative contribution of both in forming critically thinking and tolerant students. The study focuses on the role of education in responding to the challenges of diversity in multicultural societies. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework of this research rests on the theory of multicultural education and character education. Multicultural education emphasizes recognition of diversity and social justice, while character education focuses on internalizing moral values. The integration of the two is the basis for the formation of critical thinking and student tolerance. Literature review:  The literature shows that multicultural education contributes to the strengthening of attitudes of tolerance, while character education shapes moral values and social behavior. However, studies that integrate both approaches in shaping critical thinking and tolerance are still limited. This is the basis for the development of this study. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was obtained from books, national and international journals, and education policy documents. Data analysis is carried out through content analysis to examine and synthesize relevant concepts. Results: The results of the study show that multicultural education fosters students' critical awareness through an understanding of diversity and social justice. Character education reinforces the values of tolerance, empathy, and moral responsibility. The integration of the two forms of holistic learning. Implications: The findings of this study make a theoretical contribution to the development of the study of multicultural and character education. Practically, the results of the research can be a reference for educators in designing learning that fosters critical thinking and student tolerance. Novelty: The novelty of this article lies in the integration of multicultural education and character education in a single conceptual framework. This study places critical thinking and tolerance as simultaneous outcomes of holistic education in the context of a multicultural society.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the guarantee of women's rights in Islam with a focus on education and gender equality. This study distinguishes Islamic normative teachings from social practices influenced by patriarchal culture. The goal is to build a contextual understanding that is gender-correct. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework rests on the principles of justice ('adl) and benefit (maṣlaḥah) in Islam. Gender equality is understood as equality of dignity and responsibility, not absolute equal roles. Education is positioned as an instrument of social justice. Literature review:  women's studies in Islam are dominated by normative-theological approaches and patriarchal critiques. However, the integration of Islamic education and gender equality is still limited. This research fills the gap integratively and contextually. Methods: The research uses qualitative methods with descriptive-analytical and normative-conceptual approaches. Data was obtained through literature studies from the Qur'an, Hadith, tafsir, and scientific articles. The analysis was carried out thematically. Results: The results of the study affirm that Islam guarantees women's rights, including education and social roles, without discrimination. The inequality that occurs stems from biased interpretations and patriarchal culture. Gender equality is based on justice and benefits. Implications: The findings underscore the urgency of Islamic education from a gender justice perspective. Practically, these results are relevant for the development of an inclusive Islamic curriculum and discourse. Theoretically, this study enriches the study of Islam and gender. Novelty: The novelty of research lies in the contextual integration of women's rights, education, and gender equality. This study affirms Islamic normativity while criticizing distorted social practices. This framework offers an applicable understanding.
