Abstract

Occupational safety and health are the most important things. Based on Law Number 2 of 2017 concerning Construction Services, Article 52 states that service providers and sub-service providers in providing construction services must meet security, safety, health and sustainability standards. With occupational safety and health, workers can do all their work safely. The aim of this research is to describe the behavior of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among workers at PT.X in 2024. The method used in this research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional design study approach. The respondents of this study were 100 workers at PT. X. The results of this research show that of all the respondents observed, it was found that the majority of them complied with using PPE while carrying out their duties, namely 85.0%, 88.0%. 92.0% obediently wear a helmet when carrying out their duties, 92.0% obediently use safety shoes, 94.0% obediently use a helmet, 91.0% obediently use a mask, 93.0% obediently use goggles, and 93.0% obediently use gloves. Every employee must be educated to understand the benefits of using personal protective equipment when working and every employee must also be disciplined and consistent in using personal protective equipment while carrying out their duties at work.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa nasional yang digunakan oleh seluruh bangsa Indonesia. Bahasa Indonesia juga dikatakan sebagai bahasa kedua setelah bahasa Ibu. Diharapkan dengan adanya mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia disekolah, yang paling utama adalah siswa bisa berkomunikasi secara lebih efektif serta mampu berbahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan benar sesuai etika dan kesopanan. Dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada sekolah dasar belum mampu menyampaikan komunikasi dan masih kesulitan dalam bercerita, selain itu kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dan hasil belajar tergolong rendah tidak mencapai KKM dan indikator keberhasilan. Hal ini perlu dilakukan tindakan dengan judul Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan bercerita pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia melalui metode Storytelling kelas IV di MI Raudlatus Shibyan Krangkeng Krangkeng Indramayu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Storytelling dan meningkatkan hasil belajar serta keterampilan bercerita pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV MI Raudlatus Shibyan Krangkeng Krangkeng Indramayu dengan jumlah 22 siswa (11 laki-laki) dan (11 perempuan). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri setiap siklus 2 kali pertemuan. Instrumen dalam penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan bercerita dan lembar observasi aktivitas guru serta pemberian tes berupa soal yang diberikan pada setiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : 1) hasil observasi aktivitas guru dalam penerapan metode Storytelling pada siklus I terdapat skor 59 dengan persentase 81,94% dan termasuk dalam ketegori baik, sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat skor 66 dengan persentase 91,67% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. 2) hasil belajar pada siklus I dengan jumlah 13 siswa yang berhasil mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar 59,09% dengan nilai terendah 50 dan nilai tertinggi 85, pada siklus II dengan jumlah 19 siswa yang berhasil mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar 86,36% dengan nilai terendah 60 dan nilai tertinggi 95. 3) hasil keterampilan bercerita pada siklus I terdapat skor 422 dengan persentase 59,95% dalam katogori kurang terampil, sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat skor 607 dengan persentase 86,22% dengan kategori sangat terampil. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian dengan menggunakan metode storrytelling dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan bercerita pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV MI Raudlatus Shibyan Desa Krangkeng Kecamatan Krangkeng Kabupaten Indramayu.

Abstract

Purpose: The community service program (PKM-BR) aims to enhance public awareness and engagement in preserving historical artifacts from the Majapahit Kingdom, focusing on the Kutho Kedawung Site in Paleran Village. It seeks to motivate individuals to understand and protect cultural heritage within their locality. Method: The program involves socialization activities conducted by students to educate and involve the community in preserving cultural heritage. It includes pre-activity assessments, evaluations during activities, and post-activity assessments to document information about Kutho Kedawung, utilizing both oral traditions and data. Practical Applications: The research results encourage community involvement in safeguarding historical sites, highlighting the significance of preserving cultural heritage. This can lead to greater appreciation and protection of historical artifacts, contributing to the conservation of cultural heritage for future generations. Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of community engagement in preserving historical artifacts, particularly within the context of the Majapahit Kingdom. It emphasizes the practical implications of enhancing public awareness and involvement in cultural heritage preservation efforts.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teaching quality and complementary facilities on student achievement at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication (FDK) UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Researchers used quantitative methods with non-parametric tests to analyze. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 33 FDK UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya students. This research provides results that can be connected, namely that the quality of teaching partially influences the achievement of students at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, just as complementary facilities influence the achievement of students at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Apart from supporting more effective learning, this research suggests increasing interesting (not boring) lecturer training and providing contemporary facilities so that students at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya are more enthusiastic about participating in teaching and learning activities in class. Meanwhile, simultaneously the quality of teaching and complementary facilities influences student achievement at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Therefore, this second factor can make a significant contribution to increasing student achievement.
