Abstract

Background: Stunting remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, with a 21.5% prevalence in 2023, impacting children’s development and the nation’s human capital. This study aims to provide additional findings on nutritional status of Indonesia under five children in Cianjur and Klaten. Methods: This study conducts a secondary data analysis of survey data among healthy under five children of blue collar workers in 2 areas (Cianjur and Klaten) in Indonesia with a cross-sectional design and combines with existing nutrition status in Indonesia. Various statistical analysis methods were performed accordingly to obtain insights in refining and scaling up stunting prevention strategies. Results: Overall, 236 under five children of blue collar workers were enrolled in this study. We observed that Cianjur has higher under nutritional status overall than Klaten. The Cianjur region have higher underweight status (10.8%), higher stunting status (20.4%), and higher wasting status (4.3%) compared to Klaten (7.7%, 16.8%, and 2.1%, respectively). In comparison with the prevalences of under nutrition coming from latest national survey, Cianjur found to be has lower underweight status (7.0%), lower stunting status (11.4%) and lower wasting status (3.4%) than Klaten (18.6%, 24.5%, and 7.5%, respectively). There is no significant difference stunting proportion between the two areas. Findings from this survey may reflect the impact of initiatives done by local government in reducing the impact of undernutrition (including stunting) among blue collar workers’ children. Conclusion: This study highlights the positive impact of Indonesia’s stunting prevention programs. Further research is needed to strengthen evidence and refine strategies for better child nutrition and health.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) Method on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery at SDIT AL-AHSAN Seluma. This research uses Quasi-Experiment method with Time Series design. The researcher decided to conduct an experiment in class 5 with a total of 27 students. In the process of collecting data, the researcher conducted a pretest and posttest three times. From the results of this study, the students’ average pretest score was 77.33 and the posttest average was 90.81, which means that the posttest score was higher than the pretest score. So it can be concluded that the application of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) method has a significant effect on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the increase in fuel prices on online motorcycle taxi users. The sample taken in this study was 2% of the student population at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanundin Banten. The sampling technique used in this study was systematic sampling, obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents via Google forms in the form of a Likert scale and then processed using the SPSS 23 application. The results of this study showed a personal correlation value of 0.696, meaning that the correlation is very high or has a very high relationship. strong and Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.005, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the effect of the increase in fuel prices on online motorcycle taxi users for students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten is significant. Based on the R Square value of 0.484, the effect of the increase in fuel prices (variable x) on online motorcycle taxi users (variable y) is 48.4%, while the remaining 51.6% is influenced by other variables not examined

Abstract

The era of disruption that requires 21st-century skills as a provision in facing real-world challenges, including the world of work and the demands of global society, is the main background of this research. The 21st-century skills in question refer to the 6C competencies (citizenship, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication). The main objectives of this study are to map the relationship between STEM-PjBL in physics learning with the 6C competency, find research gaps based on the mapping, and provide recommendations for educators related to 21st-century skills-oriented learning. Therefore, this study is included in the category of literature studies using bibliometric analysis assisted by the VOSViewer application. The articles related to the keywords STEM-PjBL and the 6C competencies were compiled through the Scopus and Google Scholar databases with the help of the Publish or Perish application. The pattern generated from 968 data shows that the trend of research on STEM-PjBL in the period 2015-2025 tends to increase. In addition, the network visualization pattern also shows that STEM-PjBL is related to the 6C competencies, but it is still an area that is rarely studied. VOSViewer's items don't include character and citizenship as part of the 6C competency. This means that this is a novelty of research and a challenge for future research on how to holistically practice 6C competencies in learning. Project-based learning with a STEM approach is recommended as a tool to train 6C competencies, or 21st-century skills, as the findings of various studies show that STEM-PjBL has a multidimensional impact on learning. Keywords: 6Cs Competency, 21st-century skills, PjBL, STEM
