Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pricing strategy, promotion and market demand consumer preferences on the Profitability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The unit of analysis is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang City. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. A total of 100 questionnaires from MSMEs were returned as the final sample. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis conducted with SPSS software. The results showed that pricing strategy and promotion had a significant positive effect on profitability. While market demand had no significant effect on profitability. MSMEs need to set competitive prices and in accordance with the value perceived by consumers. MSMEs are advised to allocate a special budget for planned and measurable promotional activities.

Abstract

This study developed a quantitative measurement model to evaluate the performance of human resource planning and recruitment using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The research involved 30 organizations that implemented a structured planning and hiring system. The results showed a strong correlation between workforce strategic planning and talent suitability index (β = 0.456, p < 0.001), with the effectiveness of the recruitment process having a significant effect on talent retention scores (β = 0.389, p < 0.001). The measurement model showed excellent psychometric properties with an Average Variance Extracted value ranging from 0.712-0.847 and a Composite Reliability score between 0.891-0.934. The R-square value for endogenous constructs ranges from 0.743-0.891, indicating superior predictive capabilities. The developed framework provides a comprehensive evaluation instrument to optimize talent management strategies through an integrated assessment of the effectiveness of recruitment planning and outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, disiplin kerja, serta sarana dan prasarana terhadap produktivitas kerja dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Sumatera Barat. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 dari 74 pegawai, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Smart PLS 4.0.1.6 berbasis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan sarana dan prasarana tidak. Lingkungan kerja, disiplin kerja, dan sarana prasarana berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, demikian pula kepuasan kerja yang berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas. Namun, secara mediasi, hanya disiplin kerja yang terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas melalui kepuasan kerja, sementara lingkungan kerja serta sarana dan prasarana tidak berpengaruh signifikan.
