Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of classroom management in improving the quality of learning in PAI lessons at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bireuen. This research is qualitative with the type of field research. The research findings inform: First, an overview of UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bireuen which is an educational unit with a junior high school level located at Bireuen Meunasah Reulet, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The facilities and infrastructure are sufficient to support an orderly and sustainable learning process. Second, the implementation of classroom management and the quality of learning can be done through planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating processes to achieve goals and create a conducive classroom climate for successful teaching and learning activities. Third, the implementation of class management in improving the quality of learning in PAI subjects at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bireuen includes indicators of successful classroom management which include creating conducive classes, the strategy of PAI teachers in establishing good cooperative relations with students, and the strategy of PAI teachers in managing study room in class. The components of learning quality include teachers, students, objectives, learning materials, learning activities, methods, learning tools, learning resources, and evaluation. Factors that influence classroom management include the physical environment, socio-emotional conditions, and organizational conditions.

Abstract

CV Fajar Samudra is a company that manages rice in Sumbawa. The rice processing process per day can produce + 3 thousand tons of harvested dry grain (GKP) and also produce 50 tons of milled dry grain (GKG) which can later produce around 30 tons of rice. Based on the results of the interview, the problem with the rice grinding machine occurred because the v-belt of the machine broke/loose so that the machine stopped and did not operate for +4 hours. This research uses OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculations, namely measuring the level of effectiveness of machine use by calculating machine availability, performance and quality of the products produced. OEE calculates availability, performance and quality. The calculation results from this research show that the availability value is 94.34%, performance 52.44% and quality 99.62%. The OEE value obtained was 47.79% (low). So it can be seen that the highest Losses of CV Fajar Samudra on the rice milling unit machine is the Reduce speed Losses of 39.33% in October 2023.

Abstract

UD. Sejati is a small business in Nijang Hamlet, Uter Iwes District, Sumbawa Besar, West Nusa Tenggara, which produces 500-1000 red bricks per day. This study aims to analyze the mitigation of occupational health and safety (K3) risks so that work accidents in the production process can be minimized. The study uses two main methods: Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify hazards in the work environment and their preventive measures. House of Risk (HOR) focuses on prevention with two stages. HOR 1 assesses potential hazards using (ARP) to determine priority risk agents. HOR 2 designs mitigation for these priority risks. The results of the study with JSA found 16 potential hazards from 15 work activities, such as eye irritation due to rice husk dust, respiratory problems, slipping, and exposure to sparks. Meanwhile, HOR 1 identified 7 priority risks (A15, A13, A5, A14, A8, A12, A7) that require further handling. In HOR 2, 13 mitigation strategies were obtained from 7 main risk agents, with the strategy priority based on the highest ETDk value, namely PA2 at 1283.25. This approach ensures effective and efficient mitigation in reducing OHS risks at UD. Sejati.

Abstract

The work of traditional blacksmiths in Talwa, Sumbawa Regency, is still done manually with awkward work postures, excessive use of energy, heat exposure, and vibration, thus risking musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This condition shows that there is a gap in research related to the application of ergonomics in the traditional small industry sector. This study aims to analyze the level of ergonomic risk in blacksmith workers using the Skeletal Muscle Disorder (GOTRAK) assessment and the SNI 9011:2021 ergonomic potential hazard checklist, and develop recommendations for improvement. The method used was descriptive quantitative on five workers, with data collection through the GOTRAK questionnaire and SNI 9011:2021 checklist. The results show high risk (score >8) in the shoulders, upper and lower back, arms, and hands, and moderate risk (score 6-7) in the neck, elbows, hips, thighs, knees, calves, and feet. Ergonomic potential hazard scores ranged from 9 to 21, with the main exposures from bending postures, wrist bending, power grip >5 kg, vibration without dampening, high temperature, and static standing. Implementation of SNI 9011:2021 in traditional small industries and ergonomic recommendations to improve safety, comfort, and productivity.

Abstract

UD. Parang Tayam adalah usaha kecil yang berlokasi di Desa Tarwa, Kecamatan Moyohulu, Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, dengan kapasitas produksi sekitar 10 hingga 12 batu bata merah per hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis langkah-langkah untuk mengurangi insiden kecelakaan kerja dalam proses produksi. Dua metode utama diterapkan: Analisis Keselamatan Pekerjaan (JSA) untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya di tempat kerja dan langkah-langkah pencegahannya, serta pendekatan Rumah Risiko (HOR) yang menekankan pencegahan dua tahap. Pada HOR 1, Potensi Risiko Agregat (ARP) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi potensi risiko dan mengidentifikasi faktor risiko prioritas. Sementara itu, pada HOR 2, langkah-langkah mitigasi dirumuskan untuk faktor risiko prioritas tersebut. JSA mengidentifikasi 10 potensi bahaya dari 16 aktivitas kerja. Ini termasuk iritasi mata akibat debu dedak beras, gangguan pernapasan, terpeleset, dan paparan percikan api. Sementara itu, HOR 1 mengidentifikasi enam faktor risiko prioritas (A7, A16, A5, A10, A13, A8) yang memerlukan pengelolaan lebih lanjut. HOR 2 mengembangkan 17 langkah mitigasi risiko dari enam faktor risiko utama, dengan memprioritaskan PA1 yang memiliki nilai ETDk tertinggi (975) sebagai langkah mitigasi utama. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan pengurangan risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja secara efektif dan efisien di UD. Parang Tayam
