Abstract

Samosir Regency is a regency that has very diverse natural resources, making it a popular tourist destination in Indonesia. This regency has the potential for natural resources that are very worthy of being developed in order to attract the attention of local and international tourists. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the potential of natural resources for tourism development in Samosir Regency, (2) to analyze the strategic development of tourism potential in Samosir Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature approach and data obtained through BPS and various literature studies such as books, journals and articles. The results of this study indicate that the potential for natural resources in Samosir Regency to be used as tourism objects is very diverse, such as beaches, waterfalls, historical sites, natural baths, nature tourism and caves and others have the potential to increase economic growth for the community. However, the government, community, and business actors need to implement several strategies for tourism destinations in Samosir Regency, such as the construction of public facilities such as toilets, unique photo spots, improving road conditions in certain locations and clear, informative and easy-to-understand signposts.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine in depth the effect of inflation and interest rates on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in North Sumatra Province during the period 2013 to 2020. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other related agencies. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that the inflation variable has a positive and significant effect on FDI in North Sumatra Province, which indicates that stable and controlled inflation is perceived as a reflection of healthy economic activity and promising market potential for foreign investors. On the other hand, the interest rate variable has a negative and significant effect on FDI, which means that an increase in interest rates can reduce the interest of foreign investors due to the high cost of capital and investment risk. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on FDI, with a coefficient of determination of 78.1%. This shows that inflation and interest rates together are able to explain most of the variation in the level of FDI entering the North Sumatra region. This study concludes that macroeconomic stability, especially related to inflation control and interest rate policies, plays a fundamental role in attracting foreign investment. Therefore, synergy of government policies is needed in creating a conducive business environment, providing legal certainty, simplifying regulations, and maintaining macroeconomic indicators in a stable condition.

Abstract

Tujuan yang dilahirkan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji apakah variabel “Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek” mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Narasi Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Methodist Romalbest. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desktiptif yaitu menyebarkan angket. Popolasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa VII Methodist Romalbest dengan sampel sebanyak 34 siswa yang dipilih memanfaatkan metode simple random sampling. Model analisis data yang diterapkan peneliti adalah Analisis Regresi Sederhana dan Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa variabel X Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek menyimpan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Y Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Narasi. Hasil dari statistik inferensial diperoleh dari ttabel penelitian dengan memanfaatkan tabel distribusi t dengan tingkat signifikansi a = 0,05 dan db = k-n, 35-2 = 33 sehingga menghasilkan ttabel = 1,69236. Jika diperoleh thitung = 6,539 dan t tabel = 1,69236, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa thitung > ttabel atau 6,539 > 1.69236. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Dari hasil tersebut peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek menyimpan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Methodist Romalbest.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan guna mengkaji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan biaya administrasi terhadap transaksi menggunakam agen BRI Link mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan. Sampel terdiri dari 100 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara acak. Data dihimpun melalui kuesioner dan di analisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan jika kualitas pelayanan dan biaya administrasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap transaksi menggunakan agen BRI Link bagi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan. Hasil pada uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 55,953 > 3,09 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti pada kualitas pelayanan dan biaya administrasi berpengaruh secara bersamaan dan signifikan transaksi menggunakan agen BRI Link mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan.
