Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increase in productivity of Leucophyllum frutescens through the greenhouse cutting method and its impact on the financial performance of Hara Nursery. Hara Nursery faces problems in the sale of Leucophyllum frutescens plants, where market demand cannot be met optimally and the production process is inefficient. To address these issues, the greenhouse cutting method was applied as a solution to improve plant productivity. Based on the results of a one-sample Z test, this method showed an effectiveness increase with a success rate of 64%, 14% higher than the company’s standard of 50%. Additionally, financial analysis showed significant increases in the company’s revenue and profit after the business development. Revenue increased from IDR 144,000,000 to IDR 300,000,000, while profit rose from IDR 52,044,348 to IDR 126,932,395. Based on the R/C ratio analysis, this business is considered feasible and profitable with the R/C ratio increasing from 1.6 to 1.9 after the business development. ROI analysis shows an 18% improvement after additional investment. The results of this study suggest that Hara Nursery continue and expand the use of the greenhouse cutting method as an effective investment strategy to increase productivity and profitability sustainably.

Abstract

Warso Unggul Gemilang is an agribusiness specializing in free- range chicken breeding in Bogor Regency, West Java. The demand for Day Old Chickens (DOC) from regions outside Java creates opportunities for Java-based businesses to supply DOC. However, as a medium-scale company, Warso Unggul Gemilang has yet to fully utilize Industry 4.0 advancements for efficiency due to underutilized technology and workforce shortages. Sales primarily depend on WhatsApp, causing inconsistent harvest targets. Recording activities also need more optimal technology. A development strategy using the Business Model Canvas and income statement analysis is required to address these issues for optimal and sustainable results. Digitization involves using Google Forms and Microsoft Excel for recording while marketing is improved through active social media engagement, using Facebook’s marketplace features, Facebook ads, company websites, and marketplaces. The benefits include improved management activities, efficiency, and effectiveness in the competitive landscape. These efforts increased the receipts and the return R/C (return cost) ratio.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of members of the Ciharashas Women Farmers Group (KWT Ciharashas) through integrated training covering branding, basic financial recording, and digital marketing. As a women-led rural business group, KWT Ciharashas produces processed products with high economic potential but faces challenges in business management, particularly in developing brand identity and utilizing digital platforms for marketing. The training employed a participatory approach, ensuring that participants not only understood the theoretical concepts but also acquired practical skills applicable to their business activities. The results indicate significant improvements in participants’ ability to conduct daily financial recording, calculate production costs, and determine selling prices accurately. Additionally, members began using digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business and Instagram to promote their products, resulting in broader market reach. The program also fostered collaboration among participants through the formation of a digital promotion team. Overall, the training successfully strengthened managerial literacy and entrepreneurial capabilities among KWT members, contributing to the group’s competitiveness in a technology-driven market environment. Continued mentoring is recommended to ensure sustainable implementation of the training outcomes in the business activities of KWT Ciharashas.
