Abstract

Many farmers are interested in planting chrysanthemums because of its beautiful colors. The allocation of land resources, raw materials, machinery, capital and labor which is now done by farmers, is relatively not able to meet the desired target. It demonstrates that the use of resources is not optimal and it will have an impact on the level of benefits received. The result of the data processing was: the Chrysanthemum production rate, based on the optimization results, illustrated that the recommended type of chrysanthemum to be produced was only the standard type, because it increased the revenue for companies. Company A produced 486.11 bunches of chrysanthemum for Rp 1,701,389 per growing season, company B produced 277.77 bunches for Rp 972,222 per growing season, company C produced 150 bunches for Rp 450,000 per growing season, and company D produced 250 bunches for Rp 750,000 per growing season. The resource or factor of production that was totally applied on the optimum condition was the green house land resources, which is a limiting resource; but other resources was excessive or not a limiting resource. The usage or availability of limiting resource could be improved to increase the profit of the company. The environmental changes can affect the company's revenue, to see how big the changes which didn’t change the optimal conditions were. It was generated by looking at the results of the sensitivity analysis. Sensitivity analysis of the objective coefficient value which was obtained for the standard type of chrysanthemum, the allowed increase in gross profit was infinity, while the allowed decrease in gross profit was when it approached the value of the gross profit.Keyword: chrysanthemum, primal analysis, dual analysis, sensitivity analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of development for this business to formulate the idea of business development by increasing the quality of broiler chickens using a closed house cage at CV Banda Poultry Shop based on financial and non financial aspects. The idea of business development comes from current issues that broiler mortality was relatively high (6%), and the chickens’ weight is too varied. The business development plan that will be executed is replacing the enclosure of the open-house system into closedhouse. Aim to reduce the level of mortality and improve the uniformity of broiler’s weight, this business development is supported by the availability of technology that can help broiler farming process to be more effective and efficient. This business development is using the same organizational structure, will only add three new workers. Based on financial analysis, this business development has the values of NPV Rp 23 659 722 209.6, IRR 46 percent, Net B/C 3.80 and payback period for 5 years and 6 months. Based on those financial and non financial aspects, the business development is feasible. Based on the switching value analysis, company is sensitive to the changes in the decrease of broiler production by 11.06 percent and company isn’t sensitive to the changes in the increase DOC broiler price by 59.49 percent. The solutions to rise the price of DOC are by changing the brand of DOC (still has good quality) or making hatchery division in the company. Then, when the selling price of chicken is down, the company can sell the chickens in the form of carcasses or make the chickens meat processing industry.

Abstract

ABSTRAKJamur tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus) merupakan salah satu jenis jamur konsumsi yang diminati masyarakat. Tujuannya adalah mengkaji kelayakan usaha dari pengolahan jamur tiram segar menjadi kaldu jamur pada Payung Putih. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan analisis SWOT, analisis finansial dan non-finansial. Payung Putih merupakan salah satu pelaku usaha budi daya jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sukabumi. Alternatif strategi yang didapat yaitu mengkaji kelayakan usaha untuk peningkatan nilai tambah jamur tiram menjadi kaldu jamur. Selama menjalankan usahanya, terdapat hasil panen yang tidak mampu diserap pasar dan belum ada perlakuan lain. Salah satu cara meningkatkan nilai tambah jamur tiram, yaitu dengan cara diolah menjadi kaldu jamur. Kandungan asam glutamat alami pada jamur tiram dapat memberikan cita rasa gurih pada masakan. Berdasarkan analisis non finansial, dilihat dari perencanaan pasar dan pemasaran sudah memiliki target pasar yang jelas, perencanaan organisasi dan manajemen terdapat pembagian kerja antar tenaga kerja, perencanaan sumber daya manusia tersedianya tenaga kerja, dan perencanaan kolaborasi yaitu adanya pemasok dan pemasar. Dari kriteria kelayakan secara finansial dilihat dari nilai NPV sebesar Rp 93 610 380, IRR = 59,95%, Net B/C = 4,54, Gross B/C = 1,14, dan payback period selama 2 tahun 9 bulan, usaha kaldu jamur ini dapat dikatakan layak, karena semua kriteria kelayakan memiliki nilai di atas kriteria. Berdasarkan analisis switching value, batas maksimum yang dapat ditoleransi agar usaha tetap layak yaitu penurunan produksi sebesar 12,73%, sehingga bila perusahaan akan menjalankan usaha ini harus bisa mencegahan penurunan produksi lebih dari 12,73%, salah satu upaya untuk mencegahnya dengan melakukan peningkatan promosi.Kata kunci : jamur tiram, kaldu jamur, kelayakan usaha ABSTRACTOyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is one type of mushroom consumption that people are interested in. The aim is to examine the business feasibility of processing fresh oyster mushrooms into mushroom broth in Payung Putih. The method used is using SWOT analysis, financial and non-financial analysis. Abstract

Usaha Kecil Mikro dan Menengah (UMKM) adalah salah satu bentuk usaha yang memiliki peran penting pada perekonomian Indonesia. Salah satu aset yang dimiliki oleh badan usaha adalah Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) yang terdiri dari Hak Cipta dan Hak Kekayaan Industri terdiri atas paten, merek, desain industri, rahasia dagang dan desain tata letak sirkuit terpadu. Sebagai suatu aset maka perlu adanya perlindungan hukum atas HKI yang dimiliki oleh badan usaha. Pada kenyataannya masih sedikit UMKM yang paham dan telah mendaftarkan HKI yang dimilikinya.Untuk membantu meningkatkan nilai tambah dan diversifikasi produk olahan singkong maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Benteng Kecamatan Ciampea Kabupaten Bogor dengan sasaran Kelompok Wanita Tani Barokah dengan salah satu topiknya adalah sosialiasi merek sebagai salah satu HKI. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode demonstrasi pembentukan Cassava Strip Pastry sosialisasi tentang merek sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk olahan singkong. Dari kegiatan ini Kelompok Wanita Tani Barokah mendapatkan pengetahuan baru tentang pembuatan Cassava Strip Pastry dan pentingnya merek bagi produk yang telah dihasilkan. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan nilai tambah dari produk olahan singkong yang telah dihasilkan dan menjadi usaha yang berkelanjutan dan bermanfaat bagi warga Desa Benteng.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada pelaku UMKM di Kelompok Tani Barokah tentang pentingnya peranan kemasan dan desain label kemasan dalam peningkatan nilai jual produk olahan singkong. Selama ini, produk yang dihasilkan masih belum memaksimalkan fungsi kemasan.  Sehingga manfaat kemasan yang dapat melindungi produk, dapat memperpanjang umur simpan ataupun dapat meningkatkan nilai jualnya belum diperoleh secara optimal.  Oleh karena itu perlu diberikan pemahaman kepada pelaku UMKM di Kelompok Tani Barokah bahwa kemasan yang baik dan menarik dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produk. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode demontrasi dan penyuluhan yang meliputi: (1) memberikan pemahaman tentang jenis dan karakteristik kemasan pangan serta fungsinya dalam melindungi produk pangan, (2) memberikan informasi tentang pentingnya label pangan yang benar sesuai peraturan Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) dan menarik.  Dalam penyuluhan, penggunaan kemasan dan label pangan ini diaplikasikan pada produk diversifikasi olahan singkong Cassava Strip Pastry.   Luaran hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta tentang tentang kemasan dan label pangan.  Hal ini terlihat pada peningkatan nilai post-test hingga 60 %.  Diharapkan peningkatan pemahaman ini akan meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM di Kelompok Tani Barokah dalam menghasilkan produk olahan singkong bernilai jual tinggi sehingga dapat menjadi produk unggulan di Desa Benteng, Kecamatan Ciampea, Kabupaten Bogor.

Abstract

Harga jual yang rendah dan rentan mengalami kerugian pada saat panen raya, membuat Kelompok Tani Barokah Sejahtera yang selama ini menanam cabai dengan pola tanam monokultur, mencoba memperbaiki pola tanamnya dengan menggunakan pola tanam tumpangsari. Tumpang sari yang dilakukan yaitu, menanam cabe merah dengan head lettuce, dengan pertimbangan umur panen head lettuce lebih cepat, dengan harga jual yang lebih stabil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan ide pengembangan bisnis, serta mengkaji kelayakan  perubahan pola tanam monokultur menjadi tumpang sari berdasarkan aspek non finansial dan  finansial.  Metode analisis menggunakan analisis SWOT, aspek non finansial dan aspek  finansial.  Hasil analisis dari aspek non finasial, berdasarkan aspek pemasaran memiliki pasar yang dituju yaitu pedagang pengepul dan pengecer. Aspek produksi, tersedianya bahan baku, sarana dan prasarana. Aspek sumber daya manusia, tersedianya tenaga kerja. Aspek organisasi dan manajemen terdapat struktur organisasi kelompok tani dan pembagian tugas, serta aspek kolaborasi, berkerja sama untuk distribusi produk. Hasil analisis finansial perolehan laba bersih sesudah pengembangan sebesar Rp 39.376.390. Analisis R/C ratio diperoleh sebesar 2,74. Perhitungan analisis parsial pengembangan bisnis memberikan keuntungan tambahan sebesar Rp 10.336.000. Berdasarkan analisis non finasial dan finansial pengembangan bisnis menguntungkan untuk dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Natural tourism Kaliurang - Yogyakarta is one of the natural tourist destinations that presents natural beauty and agro-tourism which is in great demand by tourists. CV Tani Organic Merapi is a company engaged in organic agriculture and agro-tourism. The purpose of the business development study is to formulate business development ideas based on internal and external factors, and to assess business feasibility. The study method used is SWOT analysis, market and marketing aspects, technical aspects, organizational and management aspects, human resources aspects, collaboration aspects, and financial aspects. The results of the SWOT analysis, namely the W-O strategy: agro-tourism development at CV Tani Organic Merapi, Yogyakarta. Based on non-financial analysis, from the market and marketing aspects, it already has a clear target market. In the production aspect, the activity schedule, operational activity flow and outbound layout have been made. In the organizational and management aspects, there is a structured division of work. Aspects of human resources, the availability of the required workforce. The collaboration aspect includes suppliers for input and cooperation with marketing. From the financial aspect, this business development has an NPV value of Rp. 823,858,056.34, IRR 60 percent, Net B/C 5.38, Gross B/C 1.18, and Payback period of 2 years 7 months. Based on the switching value analysis, there was a 15 percent decrease in visitors. The results of financial and non-financial analysis show that agro-tourism development activities are feasible.

Abstract

Polemic endorsement Qanun Number 3 of 2013 on Flag and the Symbol of Aceh has reached the stage of open conflict between Indonesia Government and Aceh Government. This conflict is constructed by the media using various framing devices. The consequence of media framing is the escalation of public opinion towards one-way interpretation of the media. In building a peaceful climate, the media has a very important role. The role of the media is not merely a transmitter of information and control of social reality, but the media plays a role in improving and providing citizens with a better understanding of the importance of sustainable peace for successful development.

Abstract

Urban farming is an activity of using unproductive land into productive land in the yard of the house. Urban farming can contribute to food security, hope food patterns, increase people's income and as a means of channeling hobbies. Urban farming is an alternative in increasing the productivity of home gardens to increase hopeful food patterns and reduce the cost of daily consumption expenditures for households. This study aims to determine the public perception of urban farming and to determine the contribution of urban farming to the decrease in daily consumption costs. This research was conducted in Margajaya Village, West Bogor District, Bogor City. Descriptive statistics are used to determine people's perceptions of urban farming while inferential statistics are used to test the hypothesis that urban farming can reduce household daily consumption costs by 5 percent. The results showed that people who understand about urban farming as much as 87.23%. The results of testing the hypothesis that the portion of daily consumption cost reduction of more than 5 percent can be accepted at the 95% confidence level. This indicates that urban farming has an important role from an economic perspective. Socialization of urban farming programs is a necessity, to increase food security, it has the potential to increase people's income and reduce poverty in urban areas

Abstract

Snack bars are snacks that can be consumed as ready-to-eat snacks, usually made from various nuts. In this study, banana jackfruit flour (Musa Pardisiaca) was used as the basic ingredient by utilizing local jackfruit banana flour from Subang, West Java. The purpose of this research is to make snack bar products by utilizing banana flour which can increase the selling price. Research activities start from the processing and packaging of snack bars to calculating product selling prices. This newly developed snack bar is made with jackfruit banana flour, honey, butter, chocolate, oats, peanuts, banana chips, sugar and eggs, has a sweet, crunchy and fragrant taste. The high calorie and fiber source of this banana jackfruit flour-based snack bar was well received by all panelists and has a pleasant sensory quality. These results indicate that banana jackfruit flour-based snack bars can be marketed as nutritious and delicious snacks. With this research, it is hoped that it can make snack bar products that have better nutritional content and can utilize banana flour, increase sales value and can expand the market for banana jackfruit flour, snack bars, and other diversified products that are not only sold in local markets but also through modern markets and online markets ABSTRAK Snack bar merupakan makanan ringan yang dapat dikonsumsi sebagai camilan ready to eat, biasanya terbuat dari berbagai kacang-kacangan. Pada penelitian kali ini menggunakan bahan dasar tepung pisang nangka (Musa Pardisiaca) dengan memanfaatkan tepung pisang nangka lokal asal Subang, Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat produk snack bar dengan memanfaatkan tepung pisang yang dapat meningkatkan harga jual. Kegiatan penelitian dimulai dari pengolahan dan pengemasan snack bar hingga menghitung harga jual produk. Snack bar yang baru dikembangkan ini dibuat dengan tepung pisang nangka, madu, mentega, cokelat, oat, kacang tanah, keripik pisang, gula, dan telur, memiliki rasa yang manis, renyah, dan wangi. Sumber kalori dan serat yang tinggi dari snack bar berbahan dasar tepung pisang nangka ini diterima dengan baik oleh semua panelis dan memiliki kualitas sensorik yang menyenangkan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa snack bar berbahan dasar tepung pisang nangka dapat dipasarkan sebagai makanan bergizi dan makanan ringan yang lezat. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membuat produk snack bar yang memiliki kandungan gizi yang lebih baik serta dapat memanfaatkan tepung pisang, meningkatkan nilai jual dan dapat memperluas pasar tepung pisang nangka, snack bar, dan produk diversifikasi lainnya yang tidak hanya dijual di pasar lokal tetapi juga melalui pasar modern dan pasar online.
