Abstract

Kondisi akademis siswa Indonesia kerab kali menjadi topik hangat untuk diperbincangkan dikarenakan kompetensi yang dimiliki masih sangat kurang. Terutama kompetensi literasi numerasi. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi siswa di antaranya adalah faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal terdiri dari motivasi siswa, kegigihan siswa dalam belajar dan sifat kompetitif. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi di antaranya adalah lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan rumah, kelengkapan saranan dan praktik mengajar guru di sekolah. Pengembangan media pembelajaran dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Model yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan media tersebut adalah Borg and Gall sampai tahap ketujuh. Namun pada penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan saja, yaitu validasi oleh para ahli. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh ahli media 1 diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,11 % dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan persentase penilaian oleh ahli media 2 diperoleh sebesar 92,78 % dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi 1 maka diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,54% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan ahli materi 2 sebesar 96,42% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh para ahli media dan ahli materi maka disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android terintegrasi Smart Apps Creator yang dikembangkan layak untuk diujicobakan kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

The background to this research is based on the need to improve students' mathematical literacy skills, which are integrated with character formation based on Pancasila values. This research aims to analyze the validity of the mathematics literacy test implemented with the Pancasila student profile in developing test instruments. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, with a focus on validation of the instruments developed. The instrument consists of 20 questions that were validated by media experts, material experts, and language experts. The research results show that media validation, material validation, and language validation are in the very valid category. Of the 20 questions, 1 question item was declared valid in the very high category, 2 questions were valid in the high category, 14 questions were valid in the medium category, and 3 questions were valid in the low category. The reliability of the instrument is classified as high with a value of 0.783. Apart from that, 7 questions have good differentiating power, while 13 questions have sufficient differentiating power. Based on the level of difficulty, 4 questions are in the difficult criteria, 14 questions are in the medium criteria, and 4 questions are in the easy criteria. These results indicate that the mathematical literacy test instrument developed generally has good validity and reliability and can be used as an effective measuring tool in evaluating students' mathematical literacy abilities, as well as integrating the values ​​of the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

Effective learning media that prioritizes digitalization in the learning process and curriculum development are needed to improve students' numeracy literacy skills. One type of digital learning media is digital handouts, which are expected to provide positive changes in the world of education. Digital learning media that prioritizes audiovisual is expected to provide new learning experiences for students. This study will determine whether students' numeracy literacy skills increase after studying digital audiovisual handouts through the Realistic Mathematics Education-Based Flipbook Application. This research method uses the modified Borg and Gall model with stages of needs analysis, planning, initial product development, initial field trials, revision of test results, field trials of the main product, product revision, and final product and implementation. The research was conducted at SMPN 1, SMPN 2, and SMPN 3 Dewantara. The subjects of this study were students of grade VIII. The object of the research was Integrated Audiovisual Digital Handouts Assisted by Flipbook Application Based on Realistic Mathematics Education. The results of the validity test by material experts and media experts showed that the media that had been developed was feasible to be tested on students. The results of the small group trial stated that the press created was valid in appearance, ease of use, and usefulness so that it could be used in the media effectiveness trial through evaluation.
