Abstract

In this study utilizing coconut pulp as an ingredient in making activated carbon for thermoelectric materials From the research that has been done, it is not yet known the best carbonization time on coconut pulp activated carbon for thermoelectric materials. Therefore, this study aims to determine the optimization of carbonization time on coconut pulp activated carbon for thermoelectric materials. The coconut pulp was dried using an oven at 105ºC and then carbonized using a furnace. Carbonization time variations used were 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and 20 minutes with temperature variations from previous research, namely 300ºC. Then the results of carbonization were mashed using a mortar and pestle and filtered using a 120 mesh sieve. Carbon was activated with 0.5 M HCl (1:10) as much as 25 grams for 24 hours. After activation, the carbon was filtered, washed with distilled water and dried using an oven. Then the coconut pulp activated carbon was characterized by testing water content, vapor content, ash content, and bound carbon content. The test results show that based on SNI 06-3730-1995 the lowest water content is at 10 minutes carbonization time which is 1.72%, the lowest steam content is at 10 minutes carbonization time which is 8.54%, the lowest ash content is at 20 minutes carbonization time which is 0.55%, and the highest bound carbon content is at 10 minutes carbonization time which is 90.65%. The results showed that the optimization of carbonization time on coconut pulp activated carbon for thermoelectric materials was 10 minutes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation process, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the impact of habituating Islamic values on the religious behavior of early childhood students at RA Yayasan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the RA, teachers, and parents. The findings reveal that the habituation of Islamic values is carried out through daily routines, teacher role modeling, and a religious school environment. The main supporting factors include institutional commitment, teacher involvement, and parental participation, while the obstacles arise from children’s diverse characteristics, inconsistent reinforcement at home, and limited facilities. The habituation of Islamic values has a positive impact on shaping children’s religious behavior, reflected in their growing spiritual awareness, moral discipline, social empathy, and Islamic identity. This study emphasizes that the success of value habituation depends on strong collaboration between schools and families in creating a sustainable ecosystem for Islamic character education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of female Qur’an memorizers in the process of developing spiritual discipline at Ma’had Ibnu Zubair. The research focuses on how tahfizh activities and the daily structure of ma’had life contribute to shaping students’ patterns of discipline, perseverance, and self-regulation. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed to uncover the subjective meanings participants attach to tahfizh practices as a form of spiritual training. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation of the ma’had’s development programs, involving eight female Qur’an memorizers and one musyrifah. Thematic analysis was used to identify meaningful patterns related to motivation, challenges, habituation strategies, and transformations in spiritual behavior. The findings indicate that tahfizh activities not only enhance memorization quality but also cultivate disciplined living patterns, strengthen spiritual awareness, and improve self-control. The study concludes that the tahfizh-based training at Ma’had Ibnu Zubair significantly contributes to the reinforcement of students’ spiritual discipline and may serve as a model for developing spiritually oriented educational practices in independent tahfizh institutions.
