Abstract

There is no doubt that optimizing the internet and learning media has a positive impact on student performance and learning achievement. Learning in the post-pandemic transition period also requires optimizing the use of the internet and interactive learning media so that learning can run according to the desired targets and catch up during the pandemic. This technical guidance was carried out at Cawan View Resto which is located in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency and was attended by madrasa teachers in the district. The presentation of the material was carried out by FKIP lecturers at the University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi and the material was divided into material about PTK and its implementation, material about learning strategies and models, material about interactive learning media, and technical guidance for PTK and Learning Media as well as structured assignments. The training was carried out using lecture and discussion methods and from the results of the training it was concluded that this training provided participants with additional knowledge about the material mentioned above which could be applied in the classroom and produce PTKM reports which could be published and could increase the performance points of the participants.

Abstract

This research aims to prove the ability of phenotypic plasticity of Neritidae members in Lampon Banyuwangi, which is thought to be able to be used to determine the effects of mercury pollution that has been going on for more than a decade. The research method is descriptive quantitative with measurements of shell and operculum morphometry as phenotypic plasticity characters. Phenotypic plasticity analysis used non-Metric Multidimensional Scaling (nMDS) with Past 4.03 software. Based on the results of shell and operculum morphometry and nMDS similarity analysis, there were differences in the shell morphometry of Nerita argus and Nerita costata specimens from the Lampon estuary compared to specimens from the control location, namely Grajagan Beach. Nerita argus specimens from the rocky coast of Lampon had a range of morphometric ratios that were not much different from control specimens. Based on the results of these morphometric measurements, it show that the effects of mercury pollution have a greater influence on the phenotype of the Nerita argus and Nerita costata specimens located in the Lampon estuary compared to the rocky Lampon Beach specimens. The phenotypic plasticity of Nerita argus in the Lampon estuary can be a record of the behavior of mercury affecting marine biota, because the shell and operculum of this Gastropod member are influenced by environmental factors including pollutants, especially during the process of shell formation during its life.

Abstract

Green Finance faces challenges in balancing economic growth and environmental preservation. Limited funding, low public understanding, and waste and cultural management are the main obstacles in the development of sustainable tourism. The objective of this research is to analyze the role of Green Finance in the development of sustainable tourism in Banyuwangi, with a focus on the challenges, potential, and strategies to overcome existing obstacles. The research methodology uses a relevant Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Researchers identify relevant literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis organizes information, looking for patterns or themes. Synthesis of findings illustrates patterns and relationships among different findings. The comprehensive conclusion includes benefits, challenges, and policy recommendations. The results of the Green Finance research support the development of the sustainable tourism sector, maintaining the balance between economic growth and environmental preservation. Sustainable financing encourages environmentally friendly projects, transforms development paradigms, and supports nature conservation. The conclusion of Green Finance supports the development of sustainable tourism by integrating environmental preservation and economic growth. The recommendation of this research is that collaboration between the government, society, and the private sector is necessary to address funding challenges and create adaptive and coordinated policies.

Abstract

Exploration of the effects of mercury pollution in the Lampon estuary is still necessary, after there were indications of impacts on several bioindicator species. This study used spicule density of members of the order Holothuroidea as a bioassessment agent for the pollutant. Data collection on Holothuroidea populations was carried out using a quantitative descriptive method, using transects and 4 m2 quadrat plots. The species diversity index was analyzed using the Shannon-Weinner index. The main data collection locations were at the Lampon estuary and the rocky coast of Lampon, while control data was taken from the rocky coast of Rajegwesi, Merubetiri National Park. Spicule density was obtained by maceration of specimen tentacle organs, then spicules were observed and counted using a binocular microscope. The environmental parameters measured were water temperature, sediment temperature, water pH, water salinity, and dissolved oxygen (DO) in the water. The results showed that the diversity index of each study location was relatively low; the diversity index in Lampon was 0,838 and the diversity index in Rajegwesi was 0,826. A one-way ANOVA analysis showed no significant difference in spicule density in Holothuria leucospilota, but there was a significant difference in spicule density in Leucosynapta sp. at both locations. The suspected effects of mercury pollution on members of the Holothuroidea still require further investigation, although spicule density can be used as an agen of bioassessment.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum starts in the 2021/2022 school year, and in November 2022, 98% of schools in Banyuwangi Regency have implemented the Merdeka Curriculum. One of the components of the independent curriculum is a program called Program Profil Penguatan Pelajar Pancasila (P5). The P5 project requires teacher skills in filling out materials that refer to P5 competencies, so teachers need to upgrade themselves with various skills. This ecoprint training aims to enable high school biology teachers who are members of MGMP to develop and incorporate ecoprints into their learning process, especially for the P5 Project. Ecoprint training held in the multimedia laboratory and room B5, University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi. The training participants were 34 biology teachers who were members of MGMP Biology in Banyuwangi. The training participants enthusiastically participated in a series of activities, and actively practiced. The evaluation results of this training activity show that participants have gained additional experience and knowledge regarding the ecoprint technique. The training participants are committed to practicing it independently and transmitting this experience to students at the participants' home schools through the biology learning process and P5 independent curriculum activities.
