Abstract

The development of information systems in educational management has become a very necessary need to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of educational institution management. This study explores the concept and implementation of information systems in educational management in Christian educational institutions. The main focus of this study is to understand how information systems can support administrative processes, academic systems, curriculum management, and interactions between educators and students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method in several Christian educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of appropriate information systems can improve the quality of educational services, facilitate access to information, and improve overall organizational performance. However, challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change need to be overcome to achieve successful implementation. This study provides practical recommendations for Christian educational institutions to optimize the use of information systems in their educational management.

Abstract

Abstract: Education is one of the main pillars in the development of quality human resources. In the ever-changing global context, education functions not only as a transfer of knowledge but also as a means to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and adaptability. Therefore, the learning methods used in the educational process must be able to meet the diverse needs and characteristics of students. One of the learning models in educational technology and media is the tutorial learning model. This study uses a qualitative method with literature review analysis conducted by searching various written sources, including books, archives, magazines, articles, and journals, or documents relevant to issues related to the tutorial learning model. Research results indicate the benefits of the tutorial learning model in increasing students' motivation and learning outcomes. The tutorial learning model also helps students to learn independently and in a structured manner, as well as providing practical insights into effective strategies for maximizing educational goals, particularly in Christian education management.Keywords: Tutorial Learning Model; Learning Media and Technology; Christian Education ManagementAbstrak: Pendidikan merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Dalam konteks global yang terus berubah, pendidikan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kemampuan beradaptasi. Oleh karena itu, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pendidikan harus mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa yang beragam. Salah satu model pembelajaran dalam teknologi dan media pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran tutorial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis literatur/kepustakaan yang dilakukan dengan melakukan pencarian terhadap berbagai sumber tertulis, baik berupa buku-buku, arsip, majalah, artikel, dan jurnal, atau dokumen-dokumen yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang terkait dengan model pembelajaran tutorial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya manfaat model pembelajaran tutorial dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Model pembelajaran Tutorial juga mampu membantu peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri dan terstruktur serta memberikan gambaran praktis mengenai strategi yang efektif untuk memaksimalkan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan khususnya pada manajemen pendidikan kristen.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Tutorial; Media dan Teknologi Pembelajaran; Manajemen Pendidikan Kristen.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of classroom management on the learning discipline of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar Narumonda in the 2025/2026 academic year. The method used in this research is an inferential quantitative method. The population of this study consisted of all eleventh-grade students totaling 279 students, while the research sample consisted of 70 students selected using a random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a closed questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, consisting of 36 items for the classroom management variable and 36 items for the learning discipline variable. The results of the data analysis show that the data are normally distributed with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.200 > 0.05 and have a linear relationship with a deviation of linearity value of 0.065 > 0.05. The correlation test results obtained rxy = 0.676 > rtable = 0.235, indicating a positive relationship between classroom management and students’ learning discipline. The significance test shows that tcount = 7.557 > ttable = 1.995. The regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 53.556 + 0.594X with a coefficient of determination of 45.6%. The F-test results show Fcount = 57.101 > Ftable = 4.00. Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that classroom management has a positive and significant effect on the learning discipline of students at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar Narumonda in the 2025/2026 academic year.
