Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat internasional ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara KABA Academic Society (Indonesia) dan KRIRK University (Thailand), yang dilaksanakan secara hybrid pada 30 Juni hingga 2 Juli 2025 di Bangkok. Tujuan utama program ini adalah mengintegrasikan inovasi teknologi dan pemberdayaan komunitas untuk mendukung keberlanjutan sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Metode kegiatan mencakup survei kebutuhan, pengembangan teknologi tepat guna seperti komposter rumah tangga dan pelatihan pemasaran digital, pelatihan hybrid, serta monitoring dan evaluasi awal dampak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan teknis masyarakat, kesadaran lingkungan, serta penguatan kolaborasi lintas negara. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi terhadap tantangan lokal, tetapi juga mendorong terciptanya praktik pengabdian masyarakat internasional yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly increased public access to information. However, this condition has not always been accompanied by adequate information literacy skills, resulting in the widespread dissemination of misinformation and hoaxes. This study aims to formulate a model for strengthening information literacy and community libraries based on Islamic values to support the development of a Smart Islamic Society. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing books, scientific articles, and relevant literature related to information literacy, community libraries, digital literacy, and Islamic values. The findings indicate that contemporary society faces four major challenges, namely low reading interest, underutilized community libraries, unequal digital literacy competencies, and the lack of integration of Islamic values in information practices. The study also reveals that Islamic principles such as iqra', tabayyun, and amanah have strong relevance in shaping responsible information behavior. Furthermore, this research formulates the LIDiS Model (Literacy, Information, Digital, and Spiritual) as an integrative framework that combines literacy competence, information quality, digital technology utilization, and spiritual values. The model positions spirituality as an ethical foundation for information management and digital engagement, thereby contributing to the realization of a critical, adaptive, and value-oriented Smart Islamic Society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe remedial and enrichment management in improving student learning outcomes at MAN 3 Banda Aceh, as well as analyze the challenges faced, efforts to address them, and the resulting impacts. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of the madrasah principal, the vice curriculum officer, teachers, and students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles et al. model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was obtained through source triangulation, technical triangulation, and reconfirmation with informants. The results showed that program management had been implemented in a structured manner referring to learning guidelines, but still faced challenges such as time constraints and differences in student ability levels and learning speeds. To overcome these challenges, the madrasah and teachers implemented data-based planning strategies, flexible learning method adjustments, and good coordination between parties. These strategies enabled the program to continue running effectively and had a positive impact in the form of increasing student achievement and academic ability evenly. This study shows that planned and adaptive management is able to accommodate the diversity of student abilities, while also confirming that targeted learning services are an important factor that influences student motivation and learning achievement.
