Abstract

Objective This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the financial management capabilities of MSMEs in Jepara Regency, with financial technology (fintech) as a mediating variable. This research is essential, considering that weak financial management remains a major barrier to the sustainability of MSMEs, despite increasing access to financial services through digital technology. Research Method. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 100 MSME actors from various business sectors in Jepara Regency. The sample was selected through purposive sampling. Data processing and analysis were carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, assisted by SmartPLS version 4.0. Results. The findings show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management capabilities, while financial inclusion shows a positive but weak effect. Fintech serves as a moderating variable that strengthens the effect of financial literacy on financial management but weakens the effect of financial inclusion on financial management. Conclusion. This study concludes that the optimal use of fintech requires adequate financial literacy. Relying solely on expanding financial access without improving financial understanding may lead to ineffective financial management. Therefore, MSME empowerment strategies must emphasize the integration of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and the wise use of financial technology.

Abstract

Purpose: This study seeks to advance inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship through a sociopreneurship-based approach among prospective student entrepreneurs by strengthening capabilities in marketing, branding, business strategy, and financial management. Method: A participatory action framework was applied, involving observation, training, focus group discussions, internships, apprenticeships, and mentoring with selected partners. Data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and daily reports, and analysed using qualitative descriptive methods with triangulation. Practical Applications: The results highlight the relevance of an inclusive, sociopreneurship-oriented entrepreneurship model that supports higher education institutions in fostering competence development and translating entrepreneurial intention into meaningful action. Conclusion: The program enhanced students’ competencies, networks, and entrepreneurial commitment, while facilitating the practical realisation of business initiatives, thereby contributing to the emergence of new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The increasing number of university students engaged in part-time employment has created challenges in balancing academic responsibilities with financial and occupational demands. This study aimed to examine the effects of financial stress, time management, and part-time work intensity on students' academic performance. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale from 100 part-time working undergraduate students selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings revealed that financial stress has a significant negative effect on academic performance, whereas time management and part-time work intensity have significant positive effects, with time management emerging as the strongest predictor. Collectively, the three independent variables explained 37.8% of the variance in academic performance, indicating that both financial and behavioral factors play important roles in shaping students' academic achievement. These findings contribute to the integration of financial, behavioral, and occupational perspectives in explaining academic performance among part-time working students. Practically, the study highlights the importance of developing institutional strategies that strengthen students' financial resilience, time management skills, and self-management competencies to support sustainable academic success while preparing them for future professional responsibilities.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pelatihan dan penciptaan produk batik berbasis motif kearifan lokal di Desa Mangunsari, yang menghadapi permasalahan kurangnya inovasi motif akibat keterbatasan keahlian perajin pemula. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan kemampuan perajin dalam menciptakan motif baru yang variatif dan ramah lingkungan melalui pengenalan alat inovatif sederhana. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi studi pustaka, observasi, eksplorasi bahan dan bentuk, eksperimen teknik batik tulis dan cap, serta pelatihan pendaftaran hak cipta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan perajin dalam inovasi motif, munculnya produk batik baru yang siap dipasarkan, dan tumbuhnya minat generasi muda terhadap batik sebagai bentuk regenerasi budaya. Dampaknya terlihat pada peningkatan produksi batik, penguatan ekonomi kreatif lokal, serta terciptanya luaran berupa produk batik, artikel ilmiah, hak cipta, dan laporan kegiatan.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the high Open Unemployment Rate among vocational high school graduates shows a mismatch between the concept of vocational education that prepares graduates to be ready to work according to their skills. This study analyzes the influence of work motivation and family environment on the work readiness of students of Accounting and Finance XI at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga, with self efficacy as a moderating variable. The method used is a quantitative survey with a sample of 105 students through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 with the PLS-SEM model. The results show that work motivation, family environment, and self efficacy have a positive and significant influence on work readiness. However, self efficacy does not moderate the relationship between work motivation and work readiness, but has a significant effect in moderating the relationship between family environment and students' work readiness. This study emphasizes the importance of work motivation and family support, as well as the need to pay attention to psychological and social factors in preparing vocational high school graduates to face the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, and improvisation on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the mediation of fintech use in furniture craftsmen MSMEs in Jepara Regency. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis techniques, data were collected through questionnaires from MSME actors who met certain criteria. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, both directly and indirectly through the use of fintech. The use of fintech is proven to be a mediator that strengthens the relationship between financial literacy and MSME performance. However, financial behavior and improvisation do not show a significant effect on performance, either directly or through fintech. These findings emphasize the importance of improving financial literacy and financial technology assistance in encouraging sustainable MSME performance, especially in the craft-based creative economy sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teachers’ social competence, family involvement, and learning styles on students’ academic achievement, with learning motivation as a moderating at SMK Widya Praja Ungaran. The study employed an explanatory quantitative approach with 70 respondents. Analysis (MRA) with the assistance of SPSS 26. The results revealed that: 1) teachers’ social competence has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement; 2) family involvement has a negative and insignificant effect on academic achievement; 3) learning styles have a positive and significant effect on academic achievement; and 4) learning motivation moderates the influence of teachers’ social competence and learning styles on academic achievement but does not moderated the relationship between family involvement and academic achievement.

Abstract

Peternakan menjadi salah satu fokus pada kegiatan kolaborasi yang dilakukan antara perguruan tinggi dan mitra dunia usaha dunia industry (DUDI), jika dilihat dari statistiknya, Jepara telah memiliki beberapa populasi ternak yang beragam, akan tetapi pemanfaatannya masih sebatas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan saja. Jika di kembangkan dengan benar potensi ternak bisa di jual fungsikan menjadi start up bisnis non pangan di padukan dengan industry kreatif serta berbasis teknologi ramah lingkungan. Pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh UNISNU Jepara bekerjasama dengan DUDI (PT. Melia Inkracipta Gayapesona) kepada pelaku peternakan unggas diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman dalam menerapkan pemanfaatan e-commerce untuk meningkatkan jangkauan pemasaran produk. Tujuannya adalah agar peternakan unggas lokal dapat bersaing di pasar serta menambah lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan ini dapat melatih pelaku peternakan unggas dalam mengelola bisnis mereka menjadi lebih terencana, terarah, dan terkendali. Mereka juga akan mampu menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang baik dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet di bidang e-commerce, sehingga produk yang dijual memiliki kualitas tinggi dan dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada konsumen. Selain itu, kegiatan ini dapat merangsang dan memotivasi peternak unggas untuk menambah pendapatan usaha mereka tidak hanya melalui konteks unggas tetapi juga dengan menggarap konten unggas, yang pada akhirnya akan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi.
