Abstract

This study examines the impact of deep learning-supported game-based learning on literacy skills in primary school students in Indonesia. A four-month intervention involving 32 fifth-grade students used adaptive educational games to target phonemic awareness, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test assessments, the study found an average literacy score increase of 31.84 points post-intervention. Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds showed the greatest improvement, indicating the potential of adaptive, technology-assisted education to reduce learning disparities. The use of deep learning models to personalize feedback and adjust content to individual needs was key to enhancing student engagement. The findings suggest that integrating deep learning with game-based learning can significantly boost literacy outcomes, especially in under-resourced settings. Further research is recommended to evaluate these interventions across broader populations and extended timelines

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of fourth-grade students of SDN 46 Membura due to the learning process still being dominated by lecture methods so that students are less active, less courageous in expressing opinions, and less involved in the learning process. Of the 22 students, many still have not reached the KKTP of 75%. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of fourth-grade students of SDN 46 Membura through the application of the Make a Match learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consists of the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research was conducted in two cycles with 22 students as research subjects. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Make a Match learning model can improve student learning outcomes. In the pre-action stage, student learning completeness only reached 23%, then increased to 64% in cycle I and increased again to 91% in cycle II. In addition, student activeness and participation during the learning process also increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Make a Match learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for fourth grade students at SDN 46 Membura and create a more active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere for students.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 116 Enrekang through the implementation of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method. The study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 16 fourth-grade students. The results showed that the implementation of the SQ3R method improved students’ learning outcomes. The average score increased from 69.75 in the pre-action stage to 75.75 in Cycle I and 83.25 in Cycle II. Learning mastery also improved from 50% in the pre-action stage to 68.75% in Cycle I and 93.75% in Cycle II. The findings indicate that the SQ3R method effectively improves Indonesian language learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SDN 116 Enrekang.
