Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to understand the steps in implementing the Merdeka Learning Curriculum in the Akidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai, including the factors that support and hinder its implementation, as well as the strategies teachers use to overcome these obstacles. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include the Head of the Madrasah, the Deputy Head of Curriculum, and the Akidah Akhlak teacher for class X-1. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Learning Curriculum starts with planning and consists of three stages: introduction, core, and conclusion, although the P5 and PPRA projects have not been fully implemented. Evaluation is carried out through summative and formative assessments, as well as cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluations. Identified obstacles include a lack of training for educators and a mindset that has not fully adapted to the curriculum. Efforts to address these challenges include participating in workshops, enhancing teacher creativity, and sharing knowledge with fellow educators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk megetahui bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan guru PAI di SMA Budisatrya Medan untuk menguatkan kompetensi dalam menghadapi pendidikan era Society 5.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif jenis field researce dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) dalam penerapan kompetensi guru PAI di SMA Budisatrya telah menerapan education competence, peran suri tauladan, effectife communication dan adabtability yang merupakan kompetensi yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh seorang guru di era Society 2) Hambatan yang di hadapi guru PAI dalam penerapan kompetensi pedagogik yaitu guru PAI kurang menguasai teknologi digital yang menghambat proses pengintegrasian pembelajaran ke dalam teknologi, sedangkan dalam penerapan kompetensi keperibadian dan sosial banyaknya perilaku dan akhlak menyimpang peserta didik karena penggunaan internet yang kurang bijak menghambat guru dalam membentuk akhak dan jiwa sosial peserta didik dan padatnya jam kerja serta kuranya relasi juga menghambat guru PAI dalam menguatkan kompetensi keprofesionalan mereka 3) Strategi yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam menguatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional melalui webinar peningkatan kemampuan digitalisasi guru, serta pelatihan dengan sesama rekan kerja, strategi dalam penguatan kompetensi keperibadian guru PAI lebih menguatkan lagi kepribadian yang dimiliki, dan strategi penguatan kompetensi sosial yaitu dengan lebih menguatkan effective communication dan counselor competence.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) represents a concrete implementation of the university’s tri dharma, particularly in the area of community service. This study aims to describe the contribution of UINSU students participating in KKN in strengthening religious, educational, social, and environmental values in Tiganderket Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach, in which students act not only as observers but also as active participants in various community activities. The results show that the implementation of KKN has had a positive impact on the community through programs such as regular religious gatherings (wirid), teaching in elementary schools, fardhu kifayah training, eco-print workshops, digital literacy and anti-bullying campaigns, environmental activities, and the “Festival Anak Bangsa.” Each activity was designed based on the local community’s potential and aimed at enhancing village independence and welfare. Furthermore, student involvement in social and religious activities has strengthened spiritual values and social solidarity among residents. Overall, the implementation of KKN not only fosters stronger social relationships between students and the community but also serves as a contextual learning platform for students to integrate knowledge, faith, social awareness, and moral responsibility in contributing to sustainable community development.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase financial literacy and awareness of sharia savings among the people of Tiganderket Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra through the Islamic Smart Financial Education initiative. This activity was motivated by the low level of understanding of Islamic finance in rural areas, the strong dependence on conventional financial systems, and the growing practice of interest-based lending that is not aligned with Islamic principles. The program applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to encourage active participation of the community in learning processes through interactive lectures, discussions, and evaluation of knowledge before and after the activity. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of sharia savings, which increased from 35% to 90% after the activity. Furthermore, around 60% of participants expressed interest in opening an account at an Islamic financial institution following the education session. The presence of Islamic banking representatives during the program also strengthened the connection between the community and sharia financial service providers. These findings indicate that participatory and communicative Islamic financial education is effective in improving sharia financial literacy in rural communities and may serve as a sustainable empowerment model for strengthening Islamic economic practices in Indonesia.
