Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan kenyamanan dan efisiensi energi, teknologi smart home berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) semakin relevan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu elemen penting dalam smart home adalah pengendalian lampu dari jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem kontrol lampu berbasis IoT menggunakan Arduino yang dapat dioperasikan melalui aplikasi smartphone, untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan kenyamanan penghuninya. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana sistem diuji untuk mengoperasikan lampu dari jarak jauh dengan memanfaatkan koneksi internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian lampu dapat berfungsi dengan baik, dengan waktu respons antara 1,6 hingga 3,99 detik. Sistem ini juga memungkinkan pengoperasian lampu di lokasi yang berbeda, seperti Oebobo (TDM2) - Penfui (PNK), Flores-NTT ke Penfui (PNK), dan Malaysia-Indonesia (Penfui-NTT). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sistem kontrol lampu berbasis IoT dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi pemborosan energi di rumah tangga, meningkatkan kenyamanan penghuni, serta memberikan kontribusi pada pengurangan emisi karbon. Penelitian ini juga memberikan wawasan mengenai penerapan teknologi IoT dalam sistem smart home yang lebih efisien dan terjangkau.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today has a significant impact, especially in the field of education, especially for students who are not able to carry out measurements of electronic components, such as resistors of four and five color bracelets. This study was conducted on 10 resistors of four color bracelets and 10 resistors of five color bracelets to determine the value of resistance, voltage, and current in each resistor. The measurement results of the carbon film resistor show the lowest resistance value of 47? and the highest 56,000?. Meanwhile, in the five-color bracelet film metal resistor, the lowest resistance value is 1? and the highest is 3,300?. In voltage analysis, the four-band resistor produces the lowest voltage of 18.6 mV and the highest of 220.5 mV, while the five-band resistor of the color bracelet produces the lowest voltage of 210 mV and the highest of 220.9 mV. For current analysis, the color four-band resistor has a lowest current of 0.003 mA and a highest of 220 mA, while a color bracelet resistor has a lowest current of 0.1 mA and a highest of 4.7 mA. This measurement and analysis is expected to help technicians and students majoring in Electrical Engineering in understanding the value of resistance, voltage, and current on four and five color bracelet resistors in Basic Electronics lectures.

Abstract

The Paradiso Beach tourist attraction is a gathering place for several MSMEs in the Oesapa area, located on Jalan Timor Raya, West Oesapa, Kupang City. Several MSMEs at this tourist attraction utilize the land surrounding the Paradiso Beach sunset attraction to sell their processed products. The location can accommodate MSMEs from the West Oesapa Village and its surroundings. It can accommodate approximately 100 MSMEs, with six currently operating there. Vendors at the Paradiso Beach tourist attraction provide processed agricultural staples such as fried and boiled corn, green beans, cassava, bananas, vegetables, and various culinary snacks such as cassava chips, banana chips, fried corn, cakes, and drinks. To survive and thrive, MSMEs must have a distinctive identity, both in terms of taste, product packaging, logo, and packaging color, so that when marketed, these products have a unique appeal to buyers. Currently, MSMEs located in the coastal tourist attraction are not yet well-known in the city of Kupang, because the traders themselves still market traditionally, there is no promotional media, product packaging still uses thin plastic, existing culinary foods have not been packaged so that food becomes more durable and food hygiene is not guaranteed. On the other hand, the sales place is still very simple, where the local community builds their own sales stalls with makeshift lighting systems, so that at night sales activities are not optimal, thus this can also be one of the factors causing slow culinary sales by the local community Starting from these problems, we from the D4 Electrical Installation Study Program, Department of Electrical Engineering, Kupang State Polytechnic have provided solutions to the problems experienced by the MSME community around the Paradiso Beach sunset tourist area by carrying out Planning and Installation of Lighting Systems to Support Culinary Businesses in the Paradiso Beach Eco-Tourism Area, West Oesapa Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City.

Abstract

Instalasi listrik yang tidak sesuai standar merupakan penyebab utama kebakaran rumah dan sengatan listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepatuhan instalasi listrik satu fasa pada rumah tangga golongan tarif R1 (daya 450-2200 VA) di Kota Kupang terhadap standar PUIL, SPLN, dan SNI. Penelitian kuantitatif observasional ini dilakukan pada 40 sampel pelanggan yang dipilih secara purposive dari total 166.905 pelanggan di Kota Kupang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui inspeksi visual komponen (kabel, sakelar, stopkontak, MCB, PHB) dan pengukuran resistansi isolasi kabel menggunakan multimeter digital serta resistansi pentanahan menggunakan earth tester. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 92,5% instalasi menggunakan kabel NYM 3x2,5 mm2 dengan merek Visicom dan Eterna. Namun, 45% dari 40 instalasi memiliki resistansi pentanahan di atas standar 5, dengan nilai tertinggi mencapai 834. Selain itu, 7,5% instalasi menunjukkan resistansi isolasi yang sangat rendah (<1 M), mengindikasikan adanya kerusakan isolasi serius. Ditemukan pula ketidaksesuaian kapasitas pengaman MCB, termasuk satu instalasi dengan MCB 25A pada kabel 2,5 mm2 yang berisiko menyebabkan kebakaran akibat beban lebih. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun kualitas komponen terpasang umumnya baik, kegagalan pada teknik instalasi, khususnya sistem pentanahan dan pemilihan MCB, menciptakan risiko keselamatan yang signifikan. Implikasi praktisnya adalah perlunya inspeksi berkala wajib dan penerapan Sertifikat Laik Operasi (SLO) yang lebih ketat untuk mengurangi risiko kebakaran dan sengatan listrik di Kota Kupang.
