Abstract

The Emergency Department (ED) is a critical hospital unit that requires fast, accurate, and high-quality services due to its direct involvement in emergency patient care. Patient satisfaction in the ED is influenced by the quality of services provided as well as the workload borne by medical staff. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and medical staff workload on patient satisfaction at the Emergency Department of Kasih Ibu Hospital Surakarta, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study population consists of patients treated in the Emergency Department, with samples selected based on predetermined criteria. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring service quality dimensions (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy), medical staff workload, and patient satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, medical staff workload has a negative effect on patient satisfaction, and both service quality and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on patient satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of improving service quality and managing medical staff workload effectively to enhance patient satisfaction in the Emergency Department.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and measure the partial and simultaneous effects of autonomy (X1), participation (X2), and transparency (X3) in School-Based Management (SBM) on teacher performance (Y) at SD Al-Irhaam, Bandung. A quantitative approach utilizing descriptive and verification methods was adopted. Data collection was carried out by distributing closed questionnaires to 28 teachers as census respondents. Ordinal data gathered from the Likert scale were transformed into interval data using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI) prior to multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that partially, autonomy (t = 2.714; p < 0.05), participation (t = 2.408; p < 0.05), and transparency (t = 4.400; p < 0.05) have positive and significant effects on teacher performance. Simultaneously, these three variables exert a significant influence (F = 30.116; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R^2) of 79.0%. These findings suggest that strengthening independent, participatory, and accountable school governance is an absolute prerequisite for advancing professionalism and instructional effectiveness among teachers in private Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and workload on job satisfaction among healthcare workers in a hospital (Hospital X). The research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 100 healthcare workers selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique employed multiple linear regression analysis, preceded by classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results of the study indicate that all research instruments are valid and reliable. Furthermore, the findings show that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, while workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, work-life balance and workload significantly influence job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 46.4% of job satisfaction can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 53.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. In conclusion, improving work-life balance and managing workload effectively are essential strategies to enhance job satisfaction among healthcare workers, which ultimately contributes to better healthcare service quality.

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems has transformed healthcare services, yet user satisfaction remains a critical factor for successful adoption. This study aims to systematically analyze the effects of system accuracy and ease of use on user satisfaction at Hospital X. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, with data collected from 100 healthcare professionals using a structured questionnaire. Validity and reliability tests confirmed the suitability of the instrument. Classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, indicated that the data met regression requirements. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that system accuracy (β = 0.502, p < 0.01) and ease of use (β = 0.398, p < 0.01) have significant positive effects on user satisfaction. The F-test confirmed the simultaneous significance of both variables, and the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.684) showed that 68.4% of user satisfaction can be explained by these factors. The study concludes that both accuracy and usability are essential for enhancing user satisfaction, with accuracy having a slightly stronger impact. Optimizing data reliability and interface usability is crucial for maximizing the benefits of EMR systems in healthcare settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic systems and the digital competence of healthcare workers on hospital service efficiency. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design to examine the causal relationships between variables. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics, applying validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic systems has a positive and significant effect on hospital service efficiency. Similarly, the digital competence of healthcare workers also has a positive and significant influence on service efficiency. The simultaneous test (F-test) indicates that both variables jointly have a significant effect on hospital service efficiency. The coefficient of determination (R²) reveals that a substantial proportion of service efficiency can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings highlight that the integration of advanced technologies and the enhancement of human resource capabilities are essential in improving hospital service performance. The study suggests that hospitals should invest in the development of Artificial Intelligence systems as well as continuous training programs to strengthen the digital competence of healthcare workers. Such efforts are expected to support the achievement of efficient, effective, and high-quality healthcare services.
