The dissemination of wise use of social media service increases knowledge to improve knowledge and skills and attitudes in wise efforts in social media. In addition, teachers can raise awareness to provide examples of good use of social media as a form of support for the learning process. The approach method used in solving problems is direct discussion with teachers, sharing sessions related to the use or role of teachers in helping students be wise in using social media. The results obtained from this service are that 1). Knowledge can increase about the impact of social media in the world of education, 2). The role of teachers in helping students to use social media positively. Through this service, it was found that through the dissemination of wise use of social media, it can increase teachers' awareness of their role as teachers in utilizing social media in the learning process and help students be wise in using social media. Thus, the dissemination of wise use of social media to teachers aims for teachers to be able to play a role in supervising their students in playing social media and can utilize social media to support learning.

The development of information technology in the field of education is not always in line with the use of technology by educators in the learning process. The main objective of this community service is to improve elementary school teachers' understanding of the use of artificial intelligence in the learning process. The types of artificial intelligence used are Diffit AI and Quizziz. This community service was carried out at MI Ma'arif Nurul Haromain located in Tuksono Village, Kulon Progo. The participants in this activity were 17 teachers. The results of the activity show that the use of Difft AI and Quizizz in learning in elementary schools has great potential to improve the quality of education. Teachers can be more productive and efficient in creating questions and worksheets, while students are more enthusiastic and motivated to learn. In addition, the use of these tools shortens the time for teachers to prepare learning administration, so that teachers have more time to interact with students in class. Continuous collaboration and training are needed so that this technology can be optimized to support more innovative and inclusive education.

This study result to find out the perspectives of parents of elementary school students on the use of social media. The research method used is qualitative phenomenology by collecting data through interviews with parents of elementary school students. The results of the study show that from various perspectives of parents of elementary school students at SDN Rejosari 03 there are positive, negative or neutral results. The use of social media has both positive and negative impacts. Children at SDN Rejosari 03 use social media not only for chatting and watching videos on YouTube or TikTok but also for searching for sources of information from Google. The positive impact of using social media provides convenience for children and parents, especially for school or learning purposes, and children can be digitally literate from an early age. However, the negative impact of using social media is a concern and anxiety for parents of elementary school students.

Students' difficulties in understanding abstract geometric concepts and the occurrence of student misconceptions in geometry materials are important concerns for elementary school teachers. Teachers have a crucial role in introducing and developing students' understanding of geometric concepts. This study aims to explore the experiences of elementary school teachers in teaching geometry. This qualitative study using a narrative inquiry approach involved in-depth and structured interviews with 6 elementary school teachers from various backgrounds and teaching experiences. The results of the study showed that there were several main themes including the challenges of elementary school teachers in explaining abstract geometric concepts, effective teaching strategies, and the importance of using teaching aids in teaching geometry. To overcome the existing challenges, a creative and innovative approach is needed. The use of teaching aids, technology and active learning methods can also help improve students' understanding of geometric concepts. Teachers also emphasized the need for ongoing professional development and good curriculum support. These findings provide valuable insights for improving geometry teaching at the elementary school level and can be used to develop more effective teacher training programs.

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities for innovation in educational assessment, particularly in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, which requires accurate identification of students’ prior knowledge. This study aims to analyze the needs and urgency of integrating ChatGPT and Python in the development of diagnostic assessments for elementary school mathematics learning. The study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. The research subjects were elementary school teachers in Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency, selected through incidental sampling. The research instrument was a needs analysis questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results indicate that the average response percentage reached 83%, which falls into the “strongly agree” category, demonstrating a high level of teachers’ need for diagnostic assessments based on the integration of ChatGPT and Python. These findings confirm that the utilization of artificial intelligence and programming technologies has the potential to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of diagnostic assessments in elementary school mathematics learning. This study provides an initial contribution to the development of technology-based diagnostic assessments as an innovative solution aligned with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum and 21st-century learning.

Deep learning is one of the approaches used as a relevant instructional strategy to promote meaningful learning and students’ conceptual understanding in elementary schools. Its success is determined not only by classroom practices but also by the principal’s role as an instructional leader. This study aims to examine principals’ perspectives on the implementation of deep learning in elementary school instruction. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with five elementary school principals in Sedayu District as the research subjects. Data were collected through semi-structured and in-depth interviews, school observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis based on the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that principals perceive deep learning as an instructional approach that emphasizes deep understanding and the meaningfulness of students’ learning. Principals play a strategic role in supporting the implementation of deep learning through academic policies, instructional supervision, and providing opportunities for teachers to innovate. However, the implementation of the deep learning approach still faces challenges, including teachers’ readiness, limited instructional time, and administrative workload. This study underscores the importance of principal leadership in creating a learning ecosystem that supports deep learning in elementary schools. By highlighting principals’ perspectives as instructional leaders in policy formulation, academic supervision, and strengthening institutional support, this study contributes novelty by expanding deep learning research from the perspective of school leadership in elementary education.

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SD dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan secara terstruktur. Dengan anggaran yang efisien, kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran inovatif yang mendukung pembelajaran mendalam dan bermakna bagi siswa sekolah dasar serta mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka secara optimal. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan, guru memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai konsep dan prinsip pembelajaran berbasis deep learning Kegiatan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi digital yang dirancang secara pedagogis dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan berpotensi mendukung terciptanya proses pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, reflektif, dan bermakna, sejalan dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar
