Abstract

Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a server system network to content contribution in an application/web to various accessors around the world so that data sent and received by users was faster. Server selection algorithm determines the extent to which the quality of server service to client requests. This study to analyze  CDN performance, used Geographical algorithm Domain Name Server (GeoDNS), Round Robin (RR), Weigthed Round Robin (WRR), dan Least Connection (LC). In addition, Rateless Code (RLC) is also applied to reduce packet loss, there are two methods used, namely the first method is rateless code 50 and the second method is rateless code 100. Thus, the trial was carried out 20 times. Besides that, it is also applied Rateless Code (RLC) to less packet loss. From the research results, the use of CDN can improve server service performance. CDN managed to reduce the maximum to the average delay about 67,6%. From the studied CDN algorithm, Geo DNS experienced the lowest delay up to about 67.6 ms, however LC experienced the lowest packet loss, namely about 2,84%. The application of rateless code on CDN with LC algorithm succeeded in reducing packet loss to about 2.84%, but delay increased to about 75.3%.

Abstract

The focus of service journal articles is on the issue of community empowerment through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in improving community welfare. Conditions following the Covid-19 pandemic have resulted in declining MSME productivity, so there is a need for new innovations, especially in the marketing sector. The aim of the service is to find out the results of community empowerment through MSMEs in improving community welfare and the contribution of intern students in community empowerment efforts through MSMEs in improving the welfare of the people of the Cliff Linggahara Baru village in the post-Covid-19 period. The service methodology refers to the SISDAMAS method or a method based on community empowerment. The SISDAMAS method has several cycles consisting of social reflection, social mapping and community organizing, participatory planning and program synergy, program implementation and evaluation monitoring. The results of service in the form of community empowerment through MSMEs in improving community welfare are so that people can live more independently, prosperously and have knowledge about production businesses. The impact of community empowerment is firstly from a social perspective, the community can work together and build strong solidarity. Second, the impact on the economy, namely improving the economic level of society by earning sufficient income. Third, the impact on education is that people gain knowledge and insight after participating in community empowerment. The socialization activities are carried out as an effort to stimulate business actors to continue to be creative and innovate in their respective business fields by prioritizing digital literacy as an important point in facing the digital era like today. In the end, it is hoped that this activity will be beneficial for MSMEs in the culinary sector in the Jatinangor area by involving various parties such as business partners, academics, and local government so that the economy continues to grow and has a good impact on the local community.

Abstract

KUA (Religious Affairs Office) is a public institution that represents Islamic religious affairs to officially marry a couple (man and woman) in the eyes of the law in Indonesia. KUA is a public institution organized by the government which carries out some of the tasks of the Regency and City Ministry of Religion, especially in the field of Islamic religious affairs, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency. The duties of the Tanjung Tiram District KUA include marriage registration and reconciliation services in the Tanjung Tiram District location. Apart from providing good service to the community, it is also necessary to record marriage data and references that are integrated on an application basis. Based on data in the field, the process of recording marriages and reconciliations still uses paper media as data archives, so it takes a long time to search for data in making reports. The system for processing marriage registration data and making reports also makes it easier for people who want to register for marriage registration. The software system development uses Visual Basic as the programming language and Microsoft Access as the database. This application system can provide information regarding the marriage contract schedule and make it easier for the KUA head to report on the implementation of the marriage contract to make institutional policies.

Abstract

Fruit trees are used as an alternative for greening in Sidorukun Village. Fruit trees have many benefits. Currently, many people lack food, one of which is a source of vitamins from fruit trees. This study aims to socialize the diversity of fruit trees and to determine the population and dominant types of fruit trees in Sidorukun Village. This activity will be carried out in April 2024 in Sidorukun Village, Pangkatan District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The results of the activity show that the fruit trees in Sidorukun Village consist of Banana, Rambutan, Matoa, Kedondong, Mango, Dragon Fruit, Water Guava, Longan, Lime, Kaffir Lime, Papaya, Durian, Jamaican Guava, Mangosteen, Pineapple, Stone Guava , Sapodilla and Starfruit. The fruit tree populations that dominate Sidorukun Village are the Rambutan, Mango and Banana populations.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat mendorong pelaku usaha, termasuk Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM), untuk mengadopsi sistem digital guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Toko Mulia Tani, sebagai UKM yang bergerak di bidang penjualan pupuk, masih menggunakan pencatatan manual dalam mengelola pemasukan dan stok barang, sehingga sering mengalami kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, serta ketidakefisienan dalam pengecekan stok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pemasukan dan pengelolaan stok pupuk berbasis web dan Android yang dapat mempermudah proses pencatatan serta pemantauan stok secara real-time. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah metode rekayasa perangkat lunak dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan sistem berbasis web serta aplikasi mobile. Hasil dari sistem ini mampu memberikan informasi stok secara akurat, menghasilkan laporan yang cepat, serta mengurangi risiko kelebihan atau kekurangan stok. Sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fitur notifikasi stok minimum sebagai peringatan pemesanan ulang. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, Toko Mulia Tani diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, mengurangi penggunaan kertas, dan mempermudah pengambilan keputusan logistik.

Abstract

Permintaan telur ayam yang tinggi mengharuskan peternak meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam proses produksi. Salah satu tantangan utama adalah pemisahan telur berdasarkan ukuran (besar dan kecil), yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga memakan waktu lama dan rentan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemisahan telur ayam berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) di PT. Nasha Poultry Indonesia menggunakan Arduino Uno, sensor load cell, sensor infrared, dan motor servo. Metode pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Sistem ini mampu mendeteksi berat telur dengan sensor load cell dan mengarahkan telur ke jalur sesuai kategorinya menggunakan motor servo. Hasil sortir ditampilkan melalui LCD dan jumlah telur dikirim ke pengguna melalui bot Telegram secara real-time. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem dapat mengklasifikasikan telur besar dan kecil dengan akurasi tinggi, merespons perintah /data dan /reset dengan baik, serta meningkatkan efisiensi proses pemisahan. Dengan demikian, teknologi IoT dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi ketergantungan tenaga kerja manual dan meningkatkan produktivitas peternakan.

Abstract

This study aims to classify the ripeness level of mango fruit using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model based on digital images. This classification is important to help the automatic sorting process in the agricultural industry that relies on accuracy in determining fruit quality. Based on the literature review, CNN has been widely used in image-based object recognition because of its ability to extract visual features automatically. Previous studies have shown that CNN is effective in image classification, but the results are highly dependent on the quality of the data and the model parameters used. This research method involves collecting mango fruit images at three levels of ripeness (raw, half-ripe, ripe), which are then processed and analyzed using the Orange application with CNN architecture. Model evaluation was carried out using accuracy metrics, AUC, confusion matrix, and visualization through box plots and scatter plots to see the distribution and differences in data between classes. The results showed that the CNN model obtained an accuracy of 53.3% and an AUC value of 0.717, which indicates the model's initial ability to distinguish ripeness categories but with a fairly high level of misclassification. There is still overlapping data between classes, especially between the raw and half-ripe classes, which indicates the need for additional features and parameter refinement. In conclusion, CNN has the potential to be used in classifying the ripeness level of mango fruit, but its performance can be improved through feature development and deeper model tuning.

Abstract

Keamanan data dan autentikasi pengguna merupakan aspek penting dalam pengembangan aplikasi digital, terutama aplikasi yang berkaitan dengan transaksi online. AY Pulsa sebagai aplikasi penyedia layanan pembelian produk digital berupaya meningkatkan perlindungan akun pengguna melalui penerapan fitur One-Time Password (OTP) sebagai lapisan keamanan tambahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran, manfaat, serta dampak penggunaan OTP dalam meningkatkan keamanan login pada aplikasi AY Pulsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data primer melalui wawancara langsung bersama pemilik aplikasi. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penerapan OTP, sistem autentikasi hanya menggunakan username, email, dan password, yang secara umum sudah fungsional namun tetap memiliki potensi risiko penyalahgunaan, seperti password ditebak, dibocorkan, atau digunakan di banyak platform oleh pengguna. Meskipun pemilik aplikasi menyatakan bahwa belum pernah terjadi kasus pembajakan akun, kekhawatiran terkait keamanan tetap menjadi pertimbangan penting. Penerapan OTP dipilih karena sifatnya yang mudah diimplementasikan, tidak memerlukan biaya tambahan, serta memiliki tingkat keamanan yang tinggi. Dalam proses login, sistem mengirimkan kode OTP melalui WhatsApp atau email yang hanya berlaku selama 20 menit. Hal ini memastikan bahwa setiap upaya login benar-benar dilakukan oleh pemilik akun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah OTP diterapkan, pengguna memberikan respon positif dan merasa lebih aman ketika mengakses aplikasi. Rating aplikasi juga mengalami peningkatan. Secara keseluruhan, OTP terbukti mampu meningkatkan standar keamanan AY Pulsa sekalipun tidak ada riwayat kasus penyalahgunaan sebelumnya. Penerapan fitur ini juga memberikan kepercayaan lebih kepada pengguna bahwa akun mereka terlindungi dengan baik.

Abstract

Keamanan data merupakan komponen utama dari layanan komunikasi berbasis cloud, karena data bisa bahkan sering kali hilang dan disimpan di beberapa server. Enkripsi End-to-End (E2EE) muncul sebagai mekanisme perlindungan yang memungkinkan hanya penerima dan pengirim yang bisa dapat mengakses konten komunikasi dari server cloud, sedangkan pengguna ketiga tidak bisa mengakses data cloud tersebut. Artikel ini mengevaluasi efektivitas E2EE dalam mengurangi risiko kerusakan data dalam layanan komunikasi berbasis cloud dengan tinjauan literatur, analisis teori keamanan, dan simulasi konseptual vektor ancaman seperti akses tidak otentik, penyadapan, dan kerusakan metadata. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa E2EE secara substansial menurunkan kemungkinan kebocoran data jika diimplementasikan dengan manajemen kunci dan endpoint security yang memadai. Namun, ada tantangan signifikan: metadata dan informasi kontekstual tetap berisiko bocor, serta performa sistem dapat terpengaruh. Temuan ini menekankan perlunya penerapan E2EE disertai kebijakan keamanan menyeluruh dan edukasi pengguna.

Abstract

The rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing technologies has significantly transformed the way organizations manage information. Management Information Systems (MIS) are no longer limited to data recording and reporting functions but have evolved into integrated systems capable of providing real-time information to support strategic decision-making. This article aims to examine the role, benefits, and challenges of implementing Management Information Systems in the era of IoT and cloud computing. The research method employed is a literature review, drawing on relevant journals, books, and scientific publications. The results indicate that the integration of IoT and cloud computing into MIS can enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and system flexibility. However, several challenges remain, particularly related to data security, privacy issues, and the readiness of human resources.
