Abstract

Bengkulu society has an extraordinarily rich local wisdom that can be utilized for character building, including anti-corruption. This study aims to analyze anti-corruption values ​​in the local wisdom of Bengkulu society, especially the Pasemah and Serawai communities. The study was conducted using a qualitative case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Anti-corruption values ​​in the local wisdom of the Pasemah and Serawai Bengkulu communities can be found in several objects/cultures, especially in oral traditions (traditional expressions, folk prose stories, and folk songs), rites or traditions and customs, and traditional games or sports; 2) Anti-corruption values ​​contained in oral traditions are the values ​​of honesty, responsibility, discipline, hard work, simplicity, independence, caring and fairness. Of the eight values, the two most dominant values ​​are honesty and simplicity. Meanwhile, the anti-corruption values ​​contained in traditions or rites are the values ​​of care and responsibility. As for the anti-corruption values ​​contained in traditional games or sports are honesty, discipline, hard work, and independence. Thus, it can be concluded that the local wisdom of the Pasemah and Serawai communities is very potential to be used as the basis for anti-corruption education.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at Arsyaka Kindergarten, Bengkulu City, focusing on improving children's fine motor skills through the use of the Building Brick Marbele Race Run game as a learning medium. The program was motivated by the need to optimize fine motor skill stimulation in early childhood while utilizing existing community assets, including a supportive learning environment, enthusiastic students, and active teacher participation in educational game-based learning. The objectives of this program were to describe the implementation of the Building Brick Marbele Race Run game as a learning medium for improving children's fine motor skills and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The method used was Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), consisting of the stages of Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny. The results showed that the game effectively improved hand-eye coordination, accuracy, concentration, and fine motor skills through activities involving block construction and marble track design. Supporting factors included attractive game design, support from teachers and parents, and a conducive learning environment, while inhibiting factors included limited facilities and differences in children's abilities. The Societal Impact Index (SII) analysis produced an average score of 93.2%, categorized as very good, indicating that the program generated positive social impacts and is feasible for sustainable implementation in early childhood learning activities.

Abstract

Tearly childhood education is an important stage in developing children's potential and multiple intelligences, including musical intelligence. Based on observations conducted at TK Arsyaka Bengkulu City, the musical intelligence of children aged 5–6 years still needs to be enhanced through engaging learning activities that suit their developmental characteristics. On the other hand, the school possesses valuable assets such as supportive teachers, a conducive learning environment, and learning media that can be utilized to foster children's musical abilities. This program aimed to determine the implementation of mini gamelan games in improving the musical intelligence of children aged 5–6 years at TK Arsyaka Bengkulu City. The method applied was the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, consisting of Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny stages. The results showed that the implementation of mini gamelan games successfully improved children's musical intelligence, as indicated by their increased ability to recognize rhythms, follow tempo, distinguish sounds, and play simple musical instruments. In addition, children demonstrated greater enthusiasm and active participation during learning activities. The Societal Impact Index also indicated a very high level of satisfaction among teachers and parents regarding the program implementation. Therefore, mini gamelan games can serve as an effective learning medium for enhancing musical intelligence in early childhood while creating positive impacts within the school community.
