Abstract

This study aims to analyze job satisfaction, work stress, non-physical work environment on employee performance at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Office of Medan City. This study uses an associative and quantitative approach. This study was conducted at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Office of Medan City. The population in this study were all employees of the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Office of Medan City, totaling 81 employees. This study used saturated sampling, namely 81 employees as samples. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results of this study are: In this study, Job Satisfaction partially influences the performance of Employees at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Service of Medan City, this can be seen from the calculated t value> t table (5.784> 1.990) and the significance level of 0.000 <0.05. In this study, Job Stress partially influences and is significant to the performance of Employees at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Service of Medan City, this can be seen from the calculated t value <t table (2.879> 1.990) and the significance level of 0.005 <0.05. In this study, the Work Environment partially influences the performance of Employees at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Service of Medan City. This can be seen from the calculated t value> t table (6.736> 1.990) and the significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The independent variables consisting of Job Satisfaction (X_1), Job Stress (X_2), and Work Environment (X_3) simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Employees at the Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry and Trade Service of Medan City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at Hotel Grand Stabat Langkat. The research method used is associative with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 32 hotel employees selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-value of 2.240 and a significance level of 0.033. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 1.745 and a significance level of 0.041. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on performance with an F-value of 3.525 and a significance level of 0.043. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.196 indicates that 19.6% of the variation in employee performance is explained by motivation and job satisfaction, while the remaining 80.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings suggest that effective management of motivation and job satisfaction is essential to enhance employee performance in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

This research is motivated by looking at the many phenomena that show workload and workenvironment have an important role in improving employee performance. The aim of this research is to describethe workload, work environment, and performance of employees at the Kabanjahe Religious Court. Thisresearch used a descriptive-qualitative approach with a sample size of 20 employees who were used asrespondents. The data source used in this research is primary data, with data collection techniques usingquestionnaire, observation and interview methods. The results of this research show that the workload at theKabanjahe Religious Court can be said to be still not appropriate because there is still excess work due to a lackof staff. Apart from that, the work environment is good; however, it still requires improvement in several areas,especially the completeness and suitability of facilities supporting work implementation. This has an impact onemployee performance because it can slow down the process of completing work. The performance of theemployees is also good; it's just that two-way communication is needed between leaders and employees toobtain in-depth information about employee performance problems

Abstract

Leadership is the ability to stimulate, mobilize, direct, coordinate and influence others in doing somethingto achieve organizational goals. The success or failure of efforts to achieve organizational goals is determined by thequality of leadership. The problem in this study is how the role of leadership in improving employee discipline andperformance. This study aims to determine the role of leadership in improving employee discipline and performanceat PT Duta Intidiya Tbk (Watsons Indonesia). The data collection method used in the study is descriptive analysis.The results of this study show that the role of the leadership of PT Duta Intidaya Tbk (Watsons Indonesia) in improvingemployee performance is quite good in improving employee performance, which can be seen in terms of sales thathave increased in achievements, where sales results have increased. From the role of the leader, he has also provideddirections that establish good cooperation among employees by providing support, guidance, and input to employeesto be able to improve their performance. The leadership always directly monitors the problems that occur and conveyssome information about the company to external parties of the company for a work plan and policy in the smoothperformance of the company.
