Abstract

The Inspectorate of General Supervision (Itwasum) of the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) serves as the internal control mechanism to ensure accountability, transparency, and efficiency in policing. This study examines the roles, methodologies, and outcomes of Itwasum POLRI in enhancing institutional integrity and addressing organizational challenges. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through policy document analysis, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and a review of secondary literature. The findings reveal the critical impact of Itwasum POLRI's oversight on institutional reforms, resource management, and public trust. However, challenges persist in terms of bureaucratic resistance, limited resources, and technological adaptation. Recommendations include strengthening legal frameworks, increasing resource allocation, and adopting digital solutions for improved oversight.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Leadership, Technology, and Competence in Optimizing the Development of Human Resources (HR) of Military Personnel at the III Air Operations Command Headquarters (Makoopsud III). The study is based on the phenomenon that several factors affect the performance of Military personnel at the III Air Operations Command Headquarters, such as lack of competence between individuals or teams, inadequate technology, and lack of personnel who have supporting competence, so that automatically the work carried out is not appropriately achieved following the expected goals. The method used is quantitative research with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires and questionnaires or interviews. This study uses a causality approach that is analyzed using path analysis to analyze the relationship between independent variables. The Role of Leadership, Technology, and Competence affects the dependent variable HR. The results of the study found that (1) There is a significant influence of the role of leadership on competence; the better the leadership, the better the personnel competence; (2) There is a significant influence of technological development on competence, the better the development of technology, the better the personnel competence; (3) There is a significant influence of the role of leadership on optimizing HR development, the better the leadership, the better the optimization of personnel HR development; (4) There is a significant influence of technological development on optimizing human resource development, the better the technological development, the better the optimization of personnel human resource development; and (5) There is a significant influence of competence on optimizing human resource development, the better the competence, the better the optimization of personnel human resource development.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kepemimpinan, Teknologi, Dan Kompetensi Dalam Optimalisasi Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) Personel Militer Di Markas Komando Operasi Udara III (Makoopsud III). Penelitian didasarkan atas adanya fenomena bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja personil Militer Markas Komando Operasi Udara III, seperti kurangnya kompetensi antar individu atau tim, teknologi yang kurang memadai, dan kurangnya personil yang mempunyai kompetensi menudukung  maka secara otamatis pekerjaan yang dilakukan tidak tercapai dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey melalui pengedaran angket dan kuesioner, ataupun wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kausalitas yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur (Path Analysis) untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel independen Peran Kepemimpinan, Teknologi, dan Kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen SDM. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari peran kepemimpinan terhadap kompetensi, semakin baik kepemimpinan maka kompetensi personel semakin baik; (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari perkembangan teknologi terhadap kompetensi, semakin baik perkembangan teknologi maka kompetensi personel semakin baik; (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari peran kepemimpinan terhadap optimalisasi pengembangan SDM, semakin baik kepemimpinan maka optimalisasi pengembangan SDM personel semakin baik; (4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari perkembangan teknologi terhadap optimalisasi pengembangan SDM, semakin baik perkembangan teknologi maka optimalisasi pengembangan SDM personel semakin baik; dan (5) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kompetensi terhadap optimalisasi pengembangan SDM, semakin baik kompetensi maka optimalisasi pengembangan SDM personel semakin baik.

Abstract

Developing an understanding of national defense among citizens is a very significant strategic step in strengthening the sense of nationalism and avoiding the disintegration of the nation. By instilling national defense values ??such as love for the country, loyalty to Pancasila, and the spirit of unity, the main goal is to form a strong national society that is ready to contribute to national stability. This development aims to produce people who have a sense of responsibility towards the country and master their position in protecting national unity. The approach used in this training includes guidance, socialization and ongoing training. With this approach, it is hoped that citizens can deeply understand the meaning of unity and the position of each person in protecting national stability. This explanation aims to build collective understanding, which means reducing threats to the nation's integrity. With solid cooperation, fostering understanding of national defense can produce strong national resilience and reduce the risk of division, let alone disintegration of the nation.

Abstract

The quality of military training is a key factor in creating soldiers who are well-trained and ready to face various challenges in the field. In the Kopassus environment, known as the elite unit of the Indonesian Army, improving the quality of training is very important considering the complexity of the tasks and missions carried out. In addition, the challenges faced by Kopassus in carrying out its operational missions are increasingly complex, especially with the development of new technologies and tactics. The method used is qualitative. The results of this study are that the current quality of training is considered to require improvement in order to achieve goals, one of which is related to the intellectual and physical abilities of Indonesian Army Special Force Corps soldiers. With the increasing dynamics of global conflict developments, it is necessary to improve the quality of training. There are several aspects that can be improved, including physical, intellectual or scientific and technical. In implementing improvements in the quality of training, it is necessary to implement new things in accordance with current developments by applying action research methods and technological innovation. There are several factors that influence this, including the readiness of resource support and supporting technical instructions.

Abstract

Military personnel performance plays a vital role in supporting an organization’s success in achieving strategic goals. Initial observations at Tamtama Kompi B Yonko 462 Kopasgat identified challenges such as inadequate competence, ineffective teamwork, and low work motivation, which hinder optimal performance. Therefore, an in-depth analysis is required to understand how these factors influence personnel performance. This study aims to examine the impact of competence, teamwork, and work motivation on personnel performance at Tamtama Kompi B Yonko 462 Kopasgat. The research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through performance assessments, competence evaluations, teamwork analyses, and motivation surveys between 2021 and 2023. The results show that competence significantly improves individual performance quality, as well as teamwork, which fosters synergy and enhances task execution. Furthermore, high work motivation plays a key role in encouraging personnel to contribute their best efforts. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening competencies, improving teamwork, and maintaining high motivation levels to enhance overall organizational performance. The study highlights the need for focused interventions to address these key factors to ensure optimal personnel performance in the military organization.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop hypotheses for future research by reviewing the relationships between competence, motivation, self-efficacy, remuneration, and lecturer performance. ResearchMethodology: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through a literature review. Secondary data were collected from academic databases including Scopus, Web of Science, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Elsevier, SINTA, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. One empirical study was selected for each variable category to support the review. Empirical findings from the literature were analyzed and synthesized to identify patterns and construct theoretical relationships. Results: The study reveals ten significant relationships: (1) Competence, motivation, and self-efficacy each positively influence remuneration; (2) All three variables also directly affect lecturer performance; (3) Remuneration has a positive effect on lecturer performance; and (4) Remuneration mediates the effects of competence, motivation, and self-efficacy on lecturer performance. Statistical results from reviewed studies show that competence (? = 0.58), motivation (? = 0.49), and self-efficacy (? = 0.45) have strong direct effects on lecturer performance, with remuneration acting as a significant mediator (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Competence, motivation, and self-efficacy are critical factors influencing both remuneration and lecturer performance. Remuneration plays a mediating role, amplifying these effects. The findings provide a theoretical basis for future empirical testing. Limitations: This review focuses exclusively on individual-level variables, excluding organizational and policy-level influences. The generalization of the findings may be limited by the selection of reviewed studies. Contribution: The study contributes to the development of a conceptual framework on lecturer performance and highlights remuneration as a key mediating variable. It offers new insights into performance-related factors in the Indonesian higher education context.

Abstract

Increasing the capabilities of maintenance personnel at Depohar 80 TNI Air Force is very important to ensure operational readiness and aircraft reliability. Adoption of the Education 4.0 paradigm offers an effective solution in this effort. Education 4.0 emphasizes a learnercentered approach, utilizing advanced technology, and building a learning community, which provides an ideal framework for improving the competency of maintenance personnel at Depohar 80. The aim of this research is to explore how to improve the capabilities of Depohar 80 Maintenance Personnel through Education 4.0 in Order to Support the Duties of the Indonesian Air Force. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method. The results of this research show that the strategies implemented include developing a technology-based curriculum, providing adequate technological infrastructure, training trainers and facilitators, continuous evaluation and feedback, establishing learning communities, and utilizing online resources and networks. Each of these strategies is designed to overcome obstacles faced by personnel in improving their technical skills and competencies, in accordance with capability theory which emphasizes the importance of education, work skills, experience, motivation and work ethic. This approach allows maintenance personnel to access more interactive and in-depth training, gain skills relevant to the latest technology, and continuously improve their performance through constructive feedback. Implementation of Education 4.0 not only improves technical capabilities but also builds their capacity to learn and adapt independently, in accordance with the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The research conclusion is that through Education 4.0, Depohar 80 can achieve optimization of the capabilities of maintenance personnel, which in turn will support the TNI Air Force's duties more effectively and ensure the reliability and operational success of the aircraft.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze investment decisions on the shares of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) using the Moving Average Convergence Divergence and Relative Strength Index indicators. The Indonesia Stock Exchange provided panel data (time series) for the qualitative research method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with daily data and a research period from 2022 to 2023. The data analysis technique was technical analysis using the Moving Average Convergence Divergence and Relative Strength Index indicators with the assistance of the TradingView program. The results of this study indicate that the stock price movement of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) using the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator during the years 2022–2023 yielded a total of 7 (seven) true buy signals, 7 (seven) true sell signals, 7 (seven) false buy signals, and 5 (five) false sell signals. Additionally, using the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator yielded a total of 2 (two) true buy signals, 2 (two) true sell signals, 3 (three) false buy signals, and 2 (two) false sell signals. This research obtained an accuracy rate of 54% using the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator and 44% using the Relative Strength Index (RSI).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa keputusan investasi pada saham PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) dengan menggunakan indikator Moving Average Convergence Divergence dan Relative Strength Index. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis data panel (time series) yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik Pengambilan sample menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan data harian dan periode penelitian tahun 2022 – 2023. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisa teknikal menggunakan indikator Moving Average Convergence Divergence dan Relative Strength Index dengan batntuan program Tradingview.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga saham PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) dengan menggunakan indikator Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) selama tahun 2022 – 2023 mendapatkan total 7 (tujuh) sinyal True Buy, 7 (tujuh) sinyal True Sell, 7 (tujuh) sinyal False Buy dan 5 (lima) sinyal False Sell. Dan menggunakan indikator Relative Strength Index (RSI) mendapatkan total 2 (dua) sinyal True Buy, 2 (dua) sinyal True Sell, 3 (tiga) sinyal False Buy dan 2 (dua) sinyal False Sell. Dengan menggunakan indikator Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) diperoleh tingkat akurasi sebesar 54%, dan menggunakan indikator Relative Strength Index (RSI) diperoleh tingkat akurasi 44%.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex relationships between work-family conflict, workplace stress, and the performance of female employees, with work-life balance serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Central Jakarta, focusing on female employees who face unique challenges in balancing their professional and personal responsibilities. This research utilized a quantitative approach, employing Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine data from 88 female employees selected through the Slovin sampling method from a total population of 688 employees. The Conservation of Resources Theory and Spillover Theory provide a theoretical framework for understanding the impact of work-family conflict and job stress on employee performance through work-life balance mechanisms. Research indicates that work-family conflict and job stress negatively impact employee performance, whereas work-life balance somewhat moderate these relationships. The findings reveal that female professionals facing increased work-family conflict and workplace stress demonstrate reduced performance, whereas those achieving a better work-life balance exhibit improved performance outcomes despite facing similar challenges. This study contributes to organizational behavior literature by providing empirical evidence of the mediating role of work-life balance in the relationship between workplace stressors and performance outcomes for female employees in the public sector. The findings suggest that companies should implement comprehensive work-life balance policies and support systems to enhance female employee performance and overall organizational effectiveness
