Abstract

The implementation of outreach activities to the community is motivated by low public awareness of environmental cleanliness. Awareness in waste management, especially household waste, still needs to be increased. Lopang urban village, especially Taman Lopang Indah neighbourhood 11, is an area that faces problems in managing household waste. The lack of concern among residents in managing waste and the absence of final disposal sites have resulted in waste not being properly organized and often scattered around. This outreach activity aims to increase public awareness in neighbourhood 11 Lopang urban village regarding the importance of managing household waste by applying the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The lack of public understanding of the 3R concept is caused by a lack of support and involvement from both the community and government in facilitating waste management. This problem is the main focus that needs to be resolved through outreach activities aimed at providing an understanding of the 3R concept and its implementation in everyday life. In this way, it is hoped that waste management habits will be formed which can contribute to improving the culture of waste management in the community. This activity was carried out at the Al-Fath Mosque, neighbourhood 11, Lopang urban village. After attending education regarding waste management, the public understands better the importance of waste management and sorting. In fact, the community is starting to plan to establish a waste bank as a concrete step in improving waste management in the area.

Abstract

Kepedulian sosial melalui program CSR berfungsi sebagai investasi jangka panjang untuk meningkatkan citra perusahaan dan memastikan keberlangsungan dalam masyarakat. Namun, sengketa tanah telah menimbulkan ketegangan antara hubungan masyarakat, dipicu oleh kekhawatiran warga setempat tentang keamanan kerja akibat potensi alih fungsi lahan untuk agrowisata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis program CSR sebagai wujud kepedulian sosial perusahaan PT. Suryanusa Nadicipta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan informan, yaitu staf perusahaan, tokoh masyarakat, dan penerima manfaat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program CSR, khususnya melalui strategi dukungan emosional seperti prinsip 3S (sapa, senyum, dan salam), mendorong kohesi sosial, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan memperkuat kepercayaan, membentuk hubungan simbiosis antara perusahaan dan masyarakat, sekaligus menekankan perlunya keterlibatan keberlanjutan untuk memastikan dampak jangka panjang. Selain itu, dukungan penghargaan dan informasi terkait kesempatan kerja meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Temuan penelitian menekankan pentingnya pendekatan humanistik dalam CSR, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan emosional masyarakat, tetapi juga memperkuat ikatan sosial.

Abstract

Pendidikan kecakapan hidup (PKH) merupakan pendekatan strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber dayamanusia, terutama bagi komunitas dengan akses terbatas terhadap pendidikan formal. Program ini bertujuanmembekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan dunia kerja dan mendukungpemberdayaan sosial-ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keselarasan antara program PKH di PusatKegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Safari, Kota Serang, dengan panduan teknis yang disusun oleh DinasPendidikan Kota Serang. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan implementasiprogram dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menyelaraskan program dengan panduan teknis. Data dikumpulkanmelalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan seorang pendidik yang memiliki pengalaman terkait implementasiprogram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PKH di PKBM Safari telah diterapkan sesuai denganpanduan teknis, termasuk penerimaan peserta didik dari berbagai usia dan pemenuhan fasilitas melalui BantuanOperasional Pendidikan (BOP). Namun, tantangan tetap ada dalam menjaga fleksibilitas program agar inklusifdan memastikan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pendidikan berjalan efektif

Abstract

This The issue of sexual violence against children remains a serious and often overlooked challenge, particularly at the elementary school level. Prevention efforts must be carried out through educational and communicative approaches, tailored to the psychological developmental stages of children. This community service activity aims to implement a sexual violence prevention module developed by the Kakak Aman Indonesia organization, utilizing puppet storytelling as the main medium at SDN Kaloran Kidul, Serang. The implementation process included storytelling sessions, presentations on sexual education—such as understanding private body parts that should not be touched by others and what to do when experiencing sexual violence or harassment—singing educational songs about sexual violence which were specifically adapted by Kakak Aman Indonesia), and was concluded with interactive games. The use of puppet storytelling was chosen due to its narrative and visual strengths, which are effective in capturing children's interest while delivering self-protection messages in a gentle yet impactful way. Based on the results, students showed increased understanding of personal body boundaries, the importance of saying “no” to inappropriate touches, and the ability to recognize risky or unsafe situations. Teachers also responded positively, recognizing the media as a fun and value-rich learning tool.These findings suggest that puppet storytelling is an effective, child-friendly, and easily applicable medium in efforts to prevent sexual violence. Through a simple yet meaningful approach, this method creates a safe and enjoyable space for children to learn how to protect themselves. This small effort is hoped to be a starting point toward the realization of a school environment that is more aware, caring, and free from violence.

Abstract

Abstract: Child abuse is a form of mistreatment and action against children. All acts of violence against children will be recorded in their memories and will continue to be carried by them throughout their lives. In preventing acts of violence against children, the state formed an organization called the Children's Forum. The Children's Forum is managed and fostered directly by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in an effort to prevent, protect and convey the aspirations of children throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to identify forms of violence, factors causing violence, physical and psychological impacts and efforts to minimize the occurrence of violence against children, especially in the family environment. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of describing an object, phenomenon and social setting regarding violence against children which is then expressed in writing. After that, the results of the study can develop scientifically as indicated by the situation and conditions in the field so that researchers can understand in depth related to cases of violence against children that occur in the area. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, directed interviews, discussions, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the most common form of violence committed by parents against children was suppressing and shouting with their biggest reason being to discipline children.Key Words: Children's Forum, Child ViolenceAbstrak: Kekerasan pada anak adalah bentuk perlakuan dan tindakan salah terhadap anak. Semua tindak kekerasan pada anak akan direkam dalam ingatan mereka dan akan terus dibawa oleh mereka sepanjang hidupnya. Dalam mencegah terjadinya tindak kekerasan pada anak, maka negara membentuk suatu organisasi yang dinamai Forum Anak. Forum Anak dikelola dan dibina langsung oleh Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Pelindungan Anak dalam upaya pencegahan, perlindungan dan penyampaian aspirasi anak di seluruh Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk kekerasan, faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan, dampak fisik maupun psikologi serta upaya dalam meminimalisir terjadinya kekerasan pada anak terutama di lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu objek, fenomena dan setting sosial mengenai kekerasan yang terjadi pada  anak yang kemudian dituangkan dalam bentuk tulisan. Setelah itu, hasil penelitian dapat berkembang secara ilmiah sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh situasi dan kondisidi lapangan sehingga peneliti dapat memahami secara mendalam terkait dengan kasus-kasus kekerasan terhadap anak yang terjadi di daerah tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara terarah, diskusi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk kekerasan yang paling  sering dilakukan orang tua kepada anak adalah mencubit dan membentak dengan alasan terbesar  mereka adalah untuk mendisiplinkan anak.Kata Kunci: Forum Anak, Kekerasan Anak

Abstract

The tourism sector in Serang City, especially at Gope Beach, is experiencing significant challenges such as a decrease in visits due to the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters. Even though there is rich tourism potential, the use of social media for promotion is still very minimal, resulting in a lack of information about tourist attractions to the public. The outreach program designed to increase public understanding of the use of social media in promoting tourism is expected to create greater attraction for tourists. Methods that involve active participation from the community, education, including marketing strategies on social media, show positive results with increased community enthusiasm. The activity involved 15 participants, consisting of fishermen and traders around Gope Beach. Through this activity, participants gained knowledge about the importance of utilizing social media a a means of tourism promotion and the ability to use social media to create simple content related t the attractions of Gope Beach.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the non-formal education needs of the industrial community in Kampung Petung, Kragilan. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with local residents, community leaders, and informal sector workers. Findings reveal significant challenges in access to formal employment, continuing education, and vocational training. Additional issues include environmental degradation and declining social cohesion. The community requires non-formal education programs such as technical skills training, micro-entrepreneurship, environmental and health literacy, and youth leadership development. The study shows that establishing a community-based non-formal education center is essential to strengthen community resilience and promote inclusive socio-economic transformation.

Abstract

Globalisasi mengancam kelestarian kearifan lokal, sementara implementasinya di PAUD Non-Formal seringkali terhambat oleh keterbatasan kapasitas pendidik dan kesenjangan antara kurikulum nasional dengan realitas lokal. Penelitian fenomelogi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam makna dan esensi pengalaman para pelaku dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal di PAUD Non-Formal Kabupaten Serang. Studi ini melibatkan 8 partisipan terdiri dari 2 pengelola dan 6 tutor dari dua lembaga PAUD Non-Formal terakreditasi B yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis tematik model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkap struktur esensial pengalaman partisipan yang termanifestasi dalam empat tema inti yaitu peran Guru sebagai Kultural Broker, Kontekstualisasi Mikro-Kurikuler, Embodied Learning, dan Sinergi Ekosistem Budaya. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengungkapannya tentang sebuah model implementasi organik bottom-up yang menggeser paradigma dari pembelajaran tentang budaya menuju pembelajaran yang hidup dalam budaya. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan berbasis ekosistem budaya yang berkelanjutan bagi PAUD Non-Formal, di mana kearifan lokal menjadi jiwa dalam konstruksi pengetahuan, bukan sekadar konten tambahan.

Abstract

A safe, comfortable, and child-friendly school environment is mandated by national regulation, particularly UU Perlindungan Anak and Permendikbud No. 82 of 2015, yet practice on the ground continues to show vulnerability to sexual violence. This study aims to identify forms of sexual violence occurring in schools, analyze influencing factors, and examine prevention efforts already implemented. Using a qualitative case-study approach at the secondary-school level, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The main findings indicate that in a public elementary school in Serang City, sexual violence manifests in verbal forms (taunts, sexualized language) and nonverbal forms (minor physical touching), whereas in a private elementary school verbal forms such as sexual jokes or body-related comments are more dominant; in terms of prevention, the public school conducts more frequent awareness-raising activities, while the private school emphasizes intensive supervision and parent communication; public-school policies typically reference national regulations without detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in contrast to the private school’s more flexible internal policies that sometimes involve psychologists. External constraints, including limited parental sexual literacy, taboo norms, and weak digital supervision and internal constraints, such as children’s low knowledge and insufficient teacher training significantly hinder prevention. The study concludes that although reported cases tend to be relatively minor, schools must strengthen internal policies, build teacher capacity, and develop comprehensive child-protection systems to prevent sexual violence from an early age; the contribution lies in informing policy-oriented interventions, advancing family–school sexual literacy, and improving reporting mechanisms as strategic priorities.
