Abstract

Seruyan Regency with the capital Kuala Pembuang is one of the regencies in Central Kalimantan Province, some of its people live in coastal areas and manage fishery resources so that the marine and fishery sector is the mainstay and is very interested in utilizing marine and fishery resources in a sustainable manner. The aim of the study was to analyze the feasibility of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) floating net cages cultivation in the Seriyan district of Central Kalimantan. The location of the sampling was done purposively. The feasibility of investing in tilapia cages in the Seriyan district is calculated using the investment criteria which include Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Ratio (NBCR), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results of the analysis of the financial feasibility of tilapia cage business from 3 (three) managers were declared to have met the business feasibility criteria in 3 (three) research periods. This can be seen from the Net Present Value which has a positive value and the Internal Rate of Return which is greater than the required interest rate. The results of the sensitivity analysis with the scenario if there is an increase in operational costs by 10%, 20% and 30%, it is stated that the tilapia fish cage business from the three managers does not meet the business feasibility criteria. Abstract

Wororez UMKM is one of the UMKM that produces Seluang Cripsy fish and Bilis Cripsy which are currently still very rarely produced around South Kalimantan. This UMKM is located in the Sukarelawan Asri complex, Block B Number 19, Sukarelawan Street, North Loktabat Village. The objectives of this study are: to determine the feasibility of the business from the profits of Wororez UMKM, to determine the R/C ratio of Wororez UMKM, to determine the BEP of each Wororez UMKM product. This study was conducted from February to April 2025. The data analysis methods used are cost analysis, revenue, profit, R/C ratio and Break Even Point. The results of this study indicate that the Seluang Cripsy fish and Bilis Cripsy fish business can provide great profits. The sale of Seluang Cripsy fish and Bilis Cripsy can provide promising business opportunities because the profits obtained per year reach Rp. 240,675,333.33. From the calculation of the feasibility of the business analysis, R/C = 2.26 is obtained. For BEP production and prices produced by UMKM Wororez, both Seluang Crispy fish 100 g and 50 g and Bilis Crispy fish 100 g and 50 g are all above the break-even point. Because R/C is greater than 1 and BEP production and prices for all the products above are above the break-even point, the crispy fish business is feasible to do.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran berkelanjutan dan stimulasi sejak usia dini. Pada konteks kelautan dan perikanan, literasi menjadi aspek penting untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran akan keberlanjutan ekosistem laut, terutama bagi generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kelautan dan perikanan pada anak-anak di Yayasan Rumah Harapan Banjarmasin cabang Kilometer 1 melalui pendekatan edukasi dan kreasi. Kegiatan di Banjarmasin melibatkan anak-anak usia 5-12 tahun. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemberian materi, wawancara, observasi, permainan edukatif, mewarnai, dan pre/post test. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan kuisioner.. Kegiatan pengabdian di Yayasan Rumah Harapan cabang Kilometer 1 Banjarmasin berhasil meningkatkan literasi kelautan dan perikanan anak-anak. Hasil pre dan post test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, terutama pada kelompok usia 9–12 tahun, dari rata-rata 60 menjadi 80. Anak-anak usia 4–6 tahun juga menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman. Selain itu, observasi saat kegiatan memperlihatkan antusiasme tinggi, diskusi aktif, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga laut. Program ini efektif membangun fondasi awal pengetahuan maritim yang penting bagi generasi muda pesisir. Kesimpulannya, metode edukatif berbasis interaktif dan kreatif terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan kesadaran serta meningkatkan literasi kelautan pada anak-anak sejak usia dini. Kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan literasi dan kesadaran anak-anak tentang pentingnya menjaga laut, dibuktikan dengan hasil post test meningkat.

Abstract

Good business management plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainability of a business, whether micro, small, medium, or large scale. However, the reality in the field is that many business actors still do not know how to manage their business properly, as is the case with the Nila Banjar Indah MSMEs. This MSMEs is one of the groups that cultivates and breeds tilapia in Banjar Regency and is a partner in the Community Service program. The Community Service program was conducted using counseling and evaluation methods. The presentation of material on how to group types of costs and how to analyze business feasibility using an LCD and concluded with a discussion between the community service team and the torch target. In the evaluation activity, the results of the initial assessment showed that the average knowledge of the torch target about business management was 33.5%. Meanwhile, the average response value of the partner group after the activity was 74.5%. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, there was a difference in the knowledge of the torch target before and after the counseling (0.00 <0.05).
